She fluttered her wings a bit harder. She noticed she was rising up from the ground.
Good good Michael said. Now fly up.
She flew clumsy up to the sky. She stumbled but Michael caught her.
Good he said flying up next to her. She and him both hovered next to each other.
Good good he said now fly straight.
Huh she said.
Ugh Michael said he flew straight ahead a couple of feet before her and stopped and turned to face her. Now do exactly what I did.
She sighed and flew straight ahead.
Good good Michael said.
Now flap your wings a lot faster.
She did and saw that she flew a lot faster. She loved that feeling. Michael flew before her. She was following him. Good good he said don't stop flapping. If u do u will stall and fall.
She flapped faster and flew faster and faster.
Michael stopped flying and just hovered and turned to face her. He smiled and said nicely done. He also said ride the wind. Huh she said glide on the wind.
She flew and flew flew and flew much faster and faster.
Michael watched said nice improvement crossing his arms. Gemma flew faster and faster and faster. She did not know how to stop and flew RIGHT INTO MICHAEL. She crashed into him
He fell head over heels landing hard on the ground.
Owwww he said as he landed. He rubbed his head.
She flew over to him and said omg Michael I'm so so so so sorry are you ok.
He groaned and picked himself up and rubbed his head.
Yes I guess he said. Next lesson STOPPING he said rubbing his wings that got mangled in the fall. Luckily his wings were OK and nothing broken but he did loose some feathers in the fall.
OK OK stopping is easy just flap your wings slowly and slowly and eventually you will stop.
Right got ya she said flapping her wings slower and slower and pretty soon she stopped flying and just hovered.
Now Michael said fly towards the ground and landed but at the last second pull your wings inside.
Gemma safe and sound on the ground right next to Michael.
Good good he said.
She squealed and threw her arms around Michael

Um your welcome Michael said, slightly startled he was not used to hugs. All a sudden trumpets blared.
Ugh he said the call to arms never ends never ends.
He flew off. He shouted as he flew off keep practing.
She nodded her head as she watched Michael fly off.
Despite the fact she smacked him the face AND crashed into him. Michael had been a good and patient teacher and now she was a better flyer due to the kindness of Michael the archangel taking her underneath his wings and teaching her how to fly.
