Ah, the wild world of left-wing Germany. It sure isn't what it used to be.

Here stands the main tower of Zorin Industries. In this day and age, Max, the company's founder, is still its much-loved CEO.

Here, microchips are developed. And Zorin Industries pays very generously for their proliferation. The company even has plans to expand into the nanite industry. There's a certain protégé of Mr. Zorin's, Nikolai Diavolo, who seems to have a LOT to offer the nanite industry, and not to mention Zorin Industries...

Diavolo's a bit Slavic, some people think... But then, if Zorin was racist, he wouldn't be leftist. And it's all bullshit, anyhow. Zorin still has NO idea how Hitler didn't figure this out, but Slavs and Germanics are both descendants of the Indo-Aryan race...hence, making them both white.

Alas, Diavolo is not, and never will be, Zorin's most prized possession. THAT honor is something that he keeps somewhere more...discrete.

Outside his tower, far below, the flag of Bavaria flies high. And to think that the CEO of Zorin Industries works this far above it...

In his office, he's got a framed photo of the Golden Gate Bridge, in San Francisco, hanging on his wall. Frankly, he still has no idea why he still has it, after all this time...

He's also got a painting of a Gigantopithecus, of Southeast Asia, hanging on another wall. THAT species is something Zorin finds more interesting... And he's sure that goes for most simplefolk who ever visit him in his office.

On a bookcase, he keeps a gold watch, vintage from pre-WWI. It never seems to lose its sheen...

On his biggest wall, he's got movie posters of all three cinematic Catwomen: Pfeiffer, Berry, and Hathaway. Frankly, he prefers Berry of the three...although Hathaway seems catty enough to demand his sex-wrath...

Speaking of what, it's almost quitting time. Up on the screen of the desktop computer on Zorin's desk, there's a high-tech diagram of a nanite. He saves his progress, closes the window, and puts the desktop in shutdown mode.

He stands, and puts on his coat. He snatches the gold watch, on his way out.
