Volume 1: Saito Menace

Prologue: Swear.

"Ha...ha...ha…kuh, gah!"
With heavy panting, and with concussion in the ears, Shidou rose up with pain running all around his body, as if he had been torn inside-out. It was followed by another pain, which is, though, was quickly replaced by healing feeling, which spread all around his chest part, and so on on whole body.
All this pain was caused not because of his carelessness or because someone has accidentally pushed him. After all-
Elegantly, but at the same time brutally cutting his chest, and then powerfully throwing him into the wall.
-All of this was clear intent to murder him.
"Ho-ho-ho! Well look at it! So the rumors were actually true, and the brat like you wield the power of Spiritsss!"
A voice behind Shido loudly announced and he turned around to witness two figures were walking towards him
Even through his vision was still blurry from the hit, he could recognize their appearance.
One was a tall man in a dark yellow armor, who was wearing in a metal musculata cuirass and bracers, with a vertical crest with an eagle face on his helmet with metal face mask. Behind him was a military cloak. All this was creating around him an atmosphere of a stoic warrior. He has heard on a story lessons that such warriors were called Centurions.
But only by looking at another silhouette - his whole body was attacked by a strong fear, as if he was looking at the Devil in the flesh.
He was wearing a dark armor with red patterns, that look like that of an east asian warrior. He also was wearing a metal cuirass with some kind of a breathing apparatus, that was connected to the mask on his face, whose sound was sending a shivers down his whole body, as if his lungs were all completely dry. Dragons are engraved into his pauldrons and spikes protrude from his bracers and greaves. Faulds covered his legs and is held up by a thick belt. A single decorative dark feather rests atop his helmet, and behind him was also a swaying cloak.
"Are you afraid of me? You do it right. For I swear, I'll be the one to take your damned life, as well as I take it from the other Spirits!"
With such announcement, he draw his dao sword who's handle were entangled, with strange vines-like around his handle and arm, as if responding to his wielder. He could also see a beautiful black and red crystal in the middle of the hilt of the sword.
"Shi-?! Do you he-?!...Shido!"
Even though he heard his little sister Kotori voice, his mind was completely focused on a person before him.
A person, which was about to kill him
A person, which Shidou planned to save, by making him fall in love with him.

Greetings, readers, warriors, and just a random viewer, DoorstReyven is here!
Here it is, the prologue of my first fan-crossover story between light novel Date A Live from Kōshi Tachibana and illustrator Tsunako, and action-game For Honor from Ubisoft. This will walk the path of 'What If?' setting, with my fan looks on DAL universe, while also trying to fill up with side-stories and other things, which also was one of the reason for me to choosing For Honor for it. So either to take this story serious or not - it's up to you, dear reader! Also, personally request for you to read from 1 volume to 13 volume of Date A Live, as the story will take place between the 12 and 13 volume (after 12, but before 13)!
