Summary: During the holiday party, James, Meena, and Johnny all team up to do something that is near impossible; get their friends to fall in love. (Franchises include Sing, Despicable Me, and Hotel Transylvania)

James wasn't a guy who was that into romance. He did hope that one day he would fall in love and he and a significant other would live happily together until one hits the grave, and he was a fan of romantic comedies, but he was always sure when someone else would've fallen in love.

Tonight, that was a similar situation.

Tonight he was at a restaurant with Meena, Johnny, Ash, and Alex just hanging out as friends together. Both James and Alex were in different forms that were basically disguises when the people in a world don't look like them. In this case, Alex was a deer, and James was a gorilla like Johnny.

While they were playing the game 'Never Have I Ever', it was Johnny's turn. He said 'Never Have I Ever, have a crush on somebody.'

Everyone laughed as they all putted a finger down. But James noticed Alex tug his shirt as he looked at Ash, the rest of them didn't notice it.

That's when James smiled. His brother had a crush on Ash. He always assumed he did after Tiberius happened, since they seemed to get along extremely well. Which he was shocked since Ash and Alex were from different worlds, but hey, love is love.

The rest of the night went on as normal, but when they got into Johnny's truck, and Alex went into his new RV, James recommended they drop Ash off at her apartment first.

Once they got her home, as soon as she entered the building, James turned to Meena and Johnny. "Team meeting. Johnny's garage." James said.

Johnny turned to James "Why?" He said.

"You'll know when we get there." James said.

Once they got into Johnny's garage. Meena and Johnny both took a seat on the couch while James went on to start the meeting. "So, Alex has a crush on Ash, am I right?" James said getting straight to the point.

"What!" Both of them said.

"Oh come on, am I the only one that noticed this? Seriously, I saw him looking at her, I saw his cheeks turning more redder than a tomato even with all that fur on him. So, what do you guys say we get them together?" James said.

"That's possibly a bad idea." Meena said.

"And why is that?" James said

"Well A. Ash could worry about having another Lance situation. B. Ash has gotten pregnant and will have kid in the near future, so she might have her hands full. And C. Alex from my point of view doesn't look like someone who would open up his feelings forcefully." Meena said.

James sighed. Those are all great and valid points. Ash would obviously be terrified to get another Lance in Alex, she would have to deal with her future kid, and he was starting to notice a slight belly in ash's form, and of course Alex didn't admit the feelings in the usual way, he was his brother after all.

"Yes, but I know for sure that Ash wouldn't want her kid to go fatherless, nor would anyone else in the theater." James said. Then, he thought of an idea. "Guys what day is it?"

Johnny looked at his phone. "December 23rd."

"Well in that case, The christmas eve party is tomorrow." James said. The next night, James, and the rest of the team were going to Hotel Transylvania to have a christmas eve party. "So, we can get them together there. What do you guys say?"

Johnny and Meena thought of this for a moment. He had a point. Neither of them wanted Ash's future kid to be fatherless. They figured that it wasn't a bad idea. "Fine, but you owe us." Meena siad.

"I know I do. Anyway, we need a plan." James said.

The next morning

James woke up on Johnny's couch.

He looked around the place to see a bunch of pencils, blueprints, and a dart board with papers on it and pins on the papers all over the place.

James got up and checked the time. "8:00 am. Damn. Guys?" James said.

"Yeah?" Johnny said walking in.

"Where's Meena and what happened last night?"

"Well, we were planning on getting Ash and Alex together all night. You claimed we take a break, and then you fell asleep like a baby. And Meena went home." Johnny said while giving James a bowl of honey nut cherrios.

James grabbed them and began to eat them. "So what was our plan again?"

"Well, our plan was for one of us to talk to them about possibly getting together. And then we figure out a way to get them to talk to each other during the party, and then you pull a mistletoe on them, and they are forced to kiss each other."

"Did I come up with that last part? Because it doesn't make any sense on how that would get them together."

"Most likely. Anyway, Meena plans to talk with Ash when they bake the desert. And you planned to talk with Alex when you guys help Mavis and the others set up the decorations." Johnny said.

James took a bite out of more cereal. "Okay. What do you do?"

"Not sure. I think that I'm suppose to be the guide for you when it comes to the mistletoe."

"Okay, Operation Connect The Hearts is a go!" James before running out of the garage with the bowl of cereal.

"That's my bowl!" Johnny yelled out at him. James threw the bowl back at him and he caught it.

James summoned a portal and hopped through it.

He teleported into Hotel Transylvania. He saw Dracula walk up to him. "You have the lights?"

James pull lights out of nowhere. "No I left them in Narnia, of course I brought them." James said.

Just then, Alex showed up. "Hey bro." Alex said.

"Hey Al, suppose you came to help me set up the lights." James said.

"Sure." Alex said.

In the dining room, James was on a ladder setting up the lights while Alex was setting up music.

"Said Alex, can I ask you something?" James said.

"Sure, what?" Alex said.

"Have you ever had a girlfriend?"

Since Alex was not expecting that question, he turned at James confused. "Why would you ask me that?"

"Oh come on man, we're the Michael siblings for pete's sake, and also as far as we're aware, we're still the latest generation." James went on about but Alex stopped him with a look that James knew what it meant. "Okay, worded it wrong, but you should at least try to get a girlfriend." James said.

"And who oh mighty sir could that be?" Alex said going back to work.

"Uh, I don't know maybe Ash or something." James said which he got a cupcake thrown at his face. James looked at Alex as he took the cupcake off his face, leaving some frosting on him.

"Not funny." Alex said.

"What part made that funny?" James asked.

"Oh simple, it's just me and Ash wouldn't be great as a couple."

"Oh please, I can imagine that, but just you as a porcupine, you can do that."

"Yeah, but, we aren't even that compatible."

"Pal you get along with her more than anyone else on the team, no excuses!" James exclaimed in between laughther.

"Well maybe she doesn't want another boyfriend, just someone to help her in the future with her kids?"

"That's technically what a stepfather is."

"Bro, seriously, Shut Up. And speaking of which, what about you, huh?"

"What?"

"What about you getting a girlfriend?"

Not to his surprise, james kept on laughing. "Alex, I am the opposite of a girl getter, remember That incident with Victoria?" James said.

Alex cringed in laughter. "Good one, you got a laugh out of me. Anyway, why don't you try, you can attempt."

"Alex, who in the world would love me?"

"Judging by the 7 billion people on earth, and plus the multiverse, maybe, just maybe, at least 1." Alex said.

"That I know. And have the time to find."

"Well, there's Meena."

"Wow, real funny. I recommend Ash, you recommend Meena, clever." James said.

"Oh come on, you two would be perfect for each other."

James slapped on headphones and began listening to music and ignoring him and got back to work.

Meanwhile, Meena and Ash were at Meena's house making treats like cupcakes and cookies for the party. Meena was following the plan they had last night and was about to put her conversation into action.

"So Ash, i've been thinking of something?" Meena said.

"Okay, spill it." Ash said clapping her hands together.

"Well, since you're having kids in the future, I feel like you should...you know, find someone else to be with." Meena said.

Ash looked at her confused. "Okay? And why does my love life concern you?" Ash asked.

"Well, I was just, curious. I mean, if I was having kids, I wouldn't want them to be fatherless, even if their father was a creepy annoying asswipe." Meena said which made Ash laugh.

"Well, if you were Cupid, who would you arrange me with?"

"Not sure, maybe someone like Alex." Meena said. Ash looked off at Meena for a few seconds before snapping back to reality. "Yeah, cause we would totally work together as a couple."

"What do you mean?" Meena asked.

"Well first of all Alex is a normal humane."

"It's human."

"Whatever. Anyway, he's a humane who can turn into animals, like a deer, who is able to travel across the multiverse at any time he pleases and doesn't even have a normal house, and lives in an RV. Meanwhile, I'm a singer for a koala who owns a theater, and not much else. What do any of those things have in common enough for us to get busy?" Ash said.

"But even still, you could at least attempt to get together?"

"Well what about you? There's people out there for you. Like James or Johnny."

Meena blushed in shocked. "First of all, Johnny and I agreed to not be together. And I don't think James is in to me sexually."

"Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. Also, I can imagine that more. After all, you and James are both socially awkward." Ash said while placing frosting on a cake.

"Hardy Har." Meena said

That Night, Hotel Transylvania.

That night, the entire team was by Hotel Transylvania for the party. Almost everybody was wearing either christmas sweaters or santa hats, and Mavis's husband Johnny was flat out wearing a santa suit.

Meena, with her hands and nose, was placing plates of food on the tables. Johnny was walking around the place with a watch that was meant to be a walkie talkie to James.

"Alright guys, Part A; Get the two to talk with one another." Johnny said.

"Any plans?" James said as he was on top on the ceiling on a board of wood.

"Keep an eye on the two and see where they go?" Meena said.

"Sure why not, better than nothing." James said as he jumped across the platforms.

Johnny spotted Alex. He seemed to be relaxing by a table.

Meena spotted Ash. She seemed to be relaxing by a table.

"They seem to be relaxing by tables." James said.

"No duh, what do we do?" Meena said.

Then, they all noticed Ash walking up to the table with the cupcakes and cookies. Turns out, Alex was also doing that.

"They're going to the same table. Meena, buy us some time!" Johnny said.

"Meena had an idea. She speed walked over to the table and grabbed the plates of cookies Ash was about to take one.

"I apologize Ash I thought there was a bug or something on the plate." Meena said. But when she looked at it again, she saw Dennis in his bat form getting a cookie.

"Dennis, what are you doing, get out of here." Meena said playfully before Dennis flew away.

Meena placed the plate down once Alex was close enough.

Just as they planned, they bumped into each other.

After that, they began to talk with each other.

"Perfect! Pull out the mistletoe." Johnny said.

"On it. It's time to connect the hearts." James said before about to put it down slowly.

'James.'

James stopped himself and looked around the place. 'Must've been my head.' He thought.

'James.'

James looked around again. No one was there. It was only when he looked down again to see, Silena.

James yelped and accidentally dropped the mistletoe. It was aiming directly for Alex's head.

Meena saw the mistletoe and ran to grab it.

"Incoming Mistletoe!" Meena yelled out.

Alex looked up to see it and grabbed Ash's hand and they both moved out of the way.

Meena grabbed the mistletoe with her nose before it could shatter on the ground and cause a massive scene.

"What just happened?" Ash said.

"Apologies, it was a mistletoe that was up there that I put up there. It must've fallen down." James said coming in like nothing happened.

"Wait, you didn't put a mistletoe up there when we decorated."

"Well I added it when you left, there does that make you happy?"

"Wait, were you planning this?"

"I have no idea what your talking about."

Alex laughed. "Seriously, so you're telling me you didn't plan putting that up there for me."

"No I didn't, come on Alex, i'm not an idiot."

"Well if you thought that after getting mistletoed with Ash, We would've just magically fallen in love."

"Hold the phone, what makes you say this is about you getting a love life?" James and Meena said at the same time.

"Because you talked to me about it!" Alex and Ash said. Alex to James, and Ash to Meena.

"ASH!"

Everyone stopped paying attention to the argument and turned to see Lance in the doorway.

'That son of a bitch' james thought to himself.

"How did you even get here?" Ash asked him furiously.

"Someone left a portal open. Not sure who, but let's talk it ou-" lance was saying before Alex grabbed him by his wrist.

"Want me to kick your ass again?" Alex asked.

"You what!" James said confused.

"Yeah that's right, you're friend-"

"Brother."

"Brother, knocked me out and just threw me into an alleyway like a maniac!"

"Hey! My brother is not a maniac, and you're not talking with ash. Because, get this, she doesn't want to be with you after Cheating On Her like the no good dumbass you are. So, save what you wanna say until you die of old age, or a drug overdose, and if you don't leave, I'll make you."

"LISTEN HERE YOU HOMO SAPIEN, ASH IS MINE AND NOBODY ELSES! NOT YOURS, NOT THE GORILLA'S, NOT EVEN YOUR MANIAC BROTHER, SHE'LL DO WHATEVER I ASK HER TO DO IF I SIMPLY TRY HARD NOTHING, SO BACK AWAY YOU NO GOOD VIRGIN!"

James snapped like a twig in that statment. Not because of the virgin stuff, but whenever someone believes that a women would just do what they want because they think they're superior, he gets frustrated.

Without even a second to waste, he punched Lance in the eye and he fell down.

James got down with him and continued to punch him constantly with no remorse for him.

If it weren't for Meena grabbed James off of him, James probably would've killed Lance.

"Oh come on just give me 5 more seconds with him!" James yelled out.

"Quinton get him out!" Meena asked.

Quinton used his telekinesis to pick up Lance and get him out.

Meena dropped James that moment and James went to get him, but Dracula froze him in place.

"You're staying frozen until you calm down!" Dracula yelled out at him.

'Okay.' James was barely able to get out.

So now, everyone was silent. No one knew how to continue the party.

"I have an idea." Alex said.

A few minutes later, Alex and Ash were on the stage about to sing a song.

Soft Instrumental music began to play out of nowhere.

Ash: All those days watching from the windows

All those years outside looking in

All that time never even knowing

Just how blind I've been

Now I'm here blinking in the starlight

Now I'm here suddenly I see

Standing here it's all so clear

Margo closed Agnes eyes, and Agnes questioned why.

After the song, the party went back to normal, expect for James still being frozen.

Ahha! You thought they were going to kiss, did you? no seriously did you?

Anyway, that was the chapter.

The song, 'I See The Light' is from Tangled. That one scene in my opinion is better than the entirety of the first frozen
