"Ugh...my head...what happened to me?"

A lone pink-haired Kirlia with blue eyes wakes up and holds her hurting head in both hands. After her head stops pounding, she gets up and looks around her.

"Where am I?"

She starts to walk around this mysterious place.

"Where's the Pokémon Plaza? Where's my house?"

She stumbles blindly through this forest she found herself in, until she comes across a sign.

'Wild Woods Ahead! Be Prepared With Your Items!'

She gasps.

"W-Wild Woods?! Th-that can't be right! Th-that's one of the toughest Mystery Dungeons out there! How did I end up so far from my home? I'm like a hundred miles away! The Pokémon in here are so strong! But, since I ended up being this far away from home...it's the quickest way back..."

She looks behind her and sees a valley stretching out.

"It's either this or go the long way, and I definitely don't have any food! I..."

She gulps nervously.

"I am in such big trouble!"

She shakes in fear of the strong Pokémon in the Mystery Dungeon. But, she realizes she has little choice, and proceeds into it. As she walks through the Mystery Dungeon, she actively tries to avoid all Pokémon battles. She picks up all the Poké she finds, and finds a couple of Tiny Reviver Seeds. The Kirlia gingerly walks up the stairs to floor 2. Then, seeing no wild Pokémon around, she runs towards an Orb on the ground. She holds it up, and a beam of light shows the location of the stairs. She quickly sprints to the stairs, and heads to the 3rd floor. Then she hears a wild Golem. She gasps and tiptoes behinds it. It turns around and spots her, before it starts chasing her. She screams in fear before bolting for the stairs. She runs up to 4F. She sees two Ghost-types racing towards her. She panics and runs towards an Orb. She picks it up, then holds it up. It shines, and the Ghost-types get slowed down. The pink Kirlia runs up the stairs to the fifth floor. It is eerily quiet. She gingerly steps forward, muttering to herself.

"How did I end up here? The Pokémon Plaza is so far away!"

Suddenly, an Absol appears in the center of the room. He sizes up the muttering Kirlia, before starting to approach her. The Kirlia is still muttering to herself, and she starts walking along the wall of the room.

"I shouldn't be here...but I don't even know how I ended up here! What do I do? I can't make it through this Dungeon!"

The Absol then roars, startling her. She gasps, then jumps back so quickly that she falls to the floor. As the Absol approaches her, she starts to whimper and tremble in terror. This causes the Absol to stop and look questioningly at her.

"W-who are you? What business do you have in the Wild Woods?"

Kirlia tries to speak, but her lips just tremble as she stutters.

"Answer me! For I am Absol, the First Guardian of the Woods!"

This causes her to shrink back. Absol sees she is clearly terrified, and not a threat to him, and then relaxes his tone.

"Are-are you alright?"

She looks up, and Absol actually takes a step back in surprise when he sees tears in her eyes.

"D-don't cry. I'm-I'm sorry if I scared you. But...who are you?"

The pink-haired Kirlia is shaking so much, that she can't even stand up. Absol uses his sword-tail to put her on his back. He then turns his head so that his right eye can see her.

"Here, hold on to my back. I'll take you out of the Woods."

He sees her nod, and feels her small arms wrap around his neck. He then jumps from rock to rock until he reaches the exit. He crouches down to allow her to slide off.

"Where do you live?"

"N-near the P-Pokémon Plaza."

"I see. Well fortunately I have a gift from the Final Forest Guardian Herself. Close your eyes, and I will warp you there."

The Kirlia gasps, then for the first time smiles. She then hugs the Absol's head. He smiles at her.

"If you do come back...I'll make sure to watch you. When you reach my room...I hope you will be strong enough to fight me."

Kirlia nods, then closes her eyes. She hears Absol speaking faintly to her, as she is warping.

"May you succeed with every adventure you go on!"

Bright light engulfs her, and she warps. When she opens her eyes, she is in front of the Pokémon Plaza. She smiles, and runs to her home. She
