I'm on a roll this week!!! Being able to publish a new trolls fanfiction each day this week has got me rolling. So, I figured: I'd do another one. This is a SEQUEL!!!!!!!! of the little one shot crossover I did yesterday. It is called Bonding Through Hugs and Adventures ( Yes, I am aware that my titles need work ). I even came up with a little ship name, wait for it...harmonyshipping ( Serena x Poppy ). So, let's see how it reacts today. Disclaimer- I do not own pokemon, trolls, or the songs and lyrics I use throughout this story.
It has been six days, 10 hours, 52 minutes and 5 seconds since Poppy met Serena. Since then, she couldn't stop thinking about her. Before you ask, NO!!!! She's not in love with her. That title goes to Branch. No, the reason why she couldn't stop thinking about her is because she wanted to get to know more about Serena. That night, that little adventure, it made Poppy realize: she truly found a best friend. Now, don't get her wrong, she has a lot of best friends, but never one who connected with her in such a way. They had a lot in common, but not a lot of time to sort it out. Not a lot of time to talk and really learn from one another. That exact though was going through her mind as Poppy gazed out the window from her pod. She's been having trouble sleeping lately, and not even hugs and cuddles from Branch were enough to help. She looked down at her hug time bracelet, remembering the last hug they shared before Serena left. With determination in her eyes, Poppy quietly snuck out of her pod and went to Branch's bunker. She didn't go inside because she knew it was an alarm noisefest just waiting for her. Besides, what she was looking for was outside the bunker anyways. She lifted up a rock, revealing under it, a small, mechanical bracelet. Poppy knew what this little thing was capable of.
Earlier in the week, Branch was busy finishing up a new invention when Poppy tackled him with a surprise hug. He quickly hid the invention behind his back, considering this was going to be a present for Poppy for their one month dating anniversary. It was an indestructible Growth Bracelet. One flick of the switch could allow a troll to grow to the size of an 8 year old ( Basically, around Bonnie's height if you were to compare ). He was lucky enough to keep it hidden then, but unlucky when Poppy secretly followed him and saw where he hid it.
Poppy got out of the area as quietly and quick as possible before heading towards the portal. The portal still remained, even after Poppy returned home and Serena was sent back. She put the bracelet on her right wrist before jumping into the portal. Pretty soon, the portal opened up behind the pokemon center in Gloire City. It closed up as Poppy landed feet first on the ground. Luckily, no one was around when it happened, so luckily, Poppy didn't need to worry about anyone thinking she was an alien or a weird creature. She looked down at the bracelet before saying,"Time to make a statement. A "big" statement," as she flicked the switch, red electricity flowing through her body. She could feel herself get bigger as Poppy grew in an instant. Once she reached the height the bracelet was programmed, a protective seal went over the switch and Poppy could easily see she was bigger now. She smiled and jumped around, saying,"Alright! I'm big! Now, to find Serena." She began to walk along the streets, looking for her best friend. Things seemed quiet and Poppy was having some trouble in her search. Suddenly, a flyer hit her in the face as she looked at it, reading,"Tommorrow, come watch the pokemon showcase masterclass. See some of the show showcase's best performers, including Shauna, Miette, and...Serena"!! She's going to be in the masterclass!!! I'll get to see her dance!!! Alright"!!
Poppy smiled and did a little happy dance before reading the flyer again, reading,"After the masterclass, meet our talented performers at the Showcase Ball." That was enough to make her smile as she says,"This is it!! If I can attend this ball, I'll get to see her again." With a plan in action, she started to head towards a clothing shop to find some clothes so she could blend in. Later on, she came out of the shop wearing a flower themed sweatshirt, some comfortable jeans, and sparkly, glittery, blue sneakers. It fitted her to a T as Poppy quickly placed her hood on so no one would see much of her face and give any weird looks. This wasn't much like how Poppy would normally act, but since this world was different, she knew that she'd need to be like everyone else so no one would get suspicious or scared. When she passed a reflective window, Poppy noticed her reflection and almost screamed in surprise. She said to herself,"Wow...I almost didn't recognize myself. This outfit is a little odd, but worth it to find Serena." She continued walking along the streets, trying to find any sources of the Vaniville Town Native, but at first, having no luck. As she passed where the masterclass would be taking place, she accidentally bumped into someone, both people fell towards the ground. As Poppy got back to her feet, she kept saying,"I'm so sorry!!! I didn't mean to!! I didn't see where I was going"!! As she got a good look at the person, something seemed to click as she says,"Ash"? She was right: the person Poppy bumped into was none other than Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town. The Kanto boy recovered as he faced the troll girl, saying,"Hi. Sorry about that, but how did you know my name"? Poppy mentally cursed herself for saying his name as she made up an excuse, saying,"I...heard about you...in the...newspaper"? Luckily, he bought it, saying,"Oh, that makes sense. I am pretty well-known in Kalos."
Poppy laughed a little bit as she thought Serena was right. Ash is like me. He's energetic and positive as well. Well, I'll be a Growlbeast's uncle. Ash introduced himself and Pikachu as Poppy petted the friendly electric mouse. Pikachu seemed to enjoy it as much as Poppy enjoyed it as well. When Ash asked for her name, Poppy froze up a minute, making up a name, saying,"I'm...Pearl. Pleased to meet you Ash." They both shook hands as she then decided to ask,"Hey Ash...you wouldn't happen to know a girl named Serena would you"? Her luck changed for the better when she heard him say,"Actually, I'm traveling with her and two other people as well. You should meet them. Come on." Poppy smiled as she followed him to the pokemon center. As the pair entered, Poppy got to look around a bit, getting a familiar view of her surroundings. Then, she saw Ash standing by two blonde siblings, a boy and girl. The boy had glasses and a backpack on while the little girl was about her height and had a fanny pack with a little orange mouse napping inside it. Ash smiled, saying,"This is Clemont and his little sister Bonnie." Both Limious siblings said hello as Poppy smiled and waved, saying,"Hi. I'm Pearl. Nice to meet you both." Bonnie went up to Pearl, saying,"It's great to meet you!! Let's be great friends," as she hugged Poppy tight, with the troll smiling and hugging back. She then cleared her throat before saying,"So, have you two seen a girl named Serena? Ash said that she was traveling with you guys." Clemont said,"Serena went into town to get something for the masterclass tomorrow." Poppy frowned slightly before saying,"Oh, I thought she'd be with you guys at the moment." Suddenly, the doors opened up with a voice, saying,"I'm back guys." Poppy turned around and was in shock at who it was. Right in front of her...was the person who she was looking for...Serena.
