Hi everyone! How you doing? Done anything exciting? Keeping safe out there?
(Silence as everyone glares at me)
Um ok. I know you guys are probably mad that I haven't posted in awhile and you have a right to do so. I've just been a bit busy with my new job and getting a ton of stuff done around the house with this pandemic going on. I will try to upload more often. Maybe I'll have some new material up soon after this story. My aunt still hasn't finished reading that Little Merman story I let her borrow. BUT! But, if you will allow me, I can upload the genderbent version of The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning. Yes, I know it's not Miraculous related, I'm having writers block with my other crossover. For now, please forgive me for my absense and please enjoy Tangled: Miraculous Ever After!
I do not own anything. By the way, if you haven't seen Tangled the Series or at least the season where they go on a journey, just be careful. Mild spoiler.
After years of waiting, the big day had arrived: the wedding of Princess Marinette and Adrien Agreste!
Flower garlands and Coccinelle banners decorated the town. Castle staff finished putting the finishing touches on the tables in the courtyard where the banquet would take place after the ceremony. The royal carriage was cleaned and polished for the newly weds to ride in to their honeymoon. The entertainment practiced the music that would be played during the banquet. People were using the occasion to sell merchandise of the wedding.
And a huge banner of the happy couple hung in the village.
Everyone in the entire kingdom came to witness this momentous event. No one wanted to miss a second of their once lost princess getting married to a once outlaw.
Organ music played through the royal church, Luka, once known as Silencer, was asked by Marinette to play the wedding march. How could he refuse the girl who encouraged him and his fellow akumatized victims to follow their dreams and freed them?
Tikki wore a little dress Marinette designed herself as she floated down the aisle, tossing flowers along the way. Plagg, wearing a green bow tie Adrien bribed him to wear in exchange for some cheese, followed Tikki while carrying a pillow with the rings on it. It was a little heavy for a little kwami like him to carry, but he had it.
Adrien stood at the alter in a white suit fit for a prince (SPOILER: which he was, but that is a story for another time) with the Coccinelle sash across his chest, complete with the ladybug symbol. In front of him was Master Fu, asked by the king to wed them since Fu saved his daughters life when she was born. Next to him stood Captain Nino as his best man and now best friend. He did not wear his armor and helmet, but wore his medals over his suit.
Across from them was Commander Alya, Nino's girlfriend, as the princess's maid of honor. Like Nino, she wore her medals over her red dress.
Suddenly, the bridal march began.
Everyone turned around and gasped at the sight of their princess. She stood in the doorway, the sunlight glowing behind her. King Tom looped her arm through his to lead her down the aisle. He was so proud of his little girl.
Everyone got a better view of her when she stepped into the church. She wore a simple short puffed-sleeve white dress that was similar to her favorite red and black everyday dress. Attached to her crown was a her 70 foot lace veil, a tribute to her once 70 feet of hair. And in her hands were wildflowers of reds, yellows, greens, and whites. She looked so happy and so beautiful.
"Wow," Master Fu gasped.
"Wow," Adrien gasped.
"Wow," Nino gasped, earning the stink eye from Alya.
King Tom let her go to join Queen Sabine in the pews while Marinette joined her love up at the alter to begin. Master Fu cleared his throat and began the ceremony.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the joining of Marinette and Adrien in marriage."
Tikki sniffled as she watched her Marinette get married while Plagg grunted to steady the pillow.
"Plagg, shush," Tikki whispered.
"I'm trying, but this thing weighs a ton," he whispered.
"Ok here. Let me help then," she offered. Tikki flew over to him and lifted one side of the pillow. But Plagg insisted he could do it, resulting in a silent argument between them until the wedding rings fell off the pillow and rolled out the side door.
Oh no! This was not good!
The two kwami's were horrified!
What were they going to do?!
"They will live their lives together as husband and wife in everlasting peace," Master Fu finished, "May I have the rings?"
But everyone gasped in horror when they saw the pillow empty with no rings.
"Those were my grandmother's wedding rings!" Queen Sabine cried.
"The kingdom is lost!" Alya cried.
People cried out and screamed!
The castle blew up!
Soon, the entire kingdom exploded!
Plagg and Tikki were 100% sure that was exactly what was going to happen! The only way to stop it was to find those rings!
Adrien peeked over at them to make sure everything was alright.
Plagg held the pillow steady over his head with big smiles from them both to make it seem there were no problems. It worked because Adrien turned back to the master.
"...and the mutual respect which they bring to their life together had their roots in the love and friendship and guidance you have given them," the master went on, "The union of two people..."
They had to get those rings back before the kingdom exploded!
While everyone was paying attention to the two love birds, they quietly slipped out the side door to begin the search.
"Oh man, oh man, oh man!" Plagg panicked.
"I can't believe you lost the rings! You had one job!" Tikki lectured.
"I lost the rings?! I told you I had them, but no! Little Miss Tikki knows exactky what she was doing! This is not on me alone! Like it or not, this is on both of us, sugar cube!" Plagg pointed out.
"Ok fine! We both messed up! Now come on! We have to find those rings before the master is finished," Tikki said.
"Over there!" Plagg yelled. He pointed at the rings rolling down the cobblestone close by.
They flew as fast as they could, but weren't fast enough as the rings fell down the ledge and into a bowl of punch.
Not good!
Down they flew with Tikki diving right into the red punch. This caused the ladle to fall off the table, so one of the kitchen staff picked it up.
"Got them!" Tikki cheered. The kitchen staff who picked up the ladle saw Tikki in the punch bowl and fell backwards screaming. Tikki screamed too and lost the rings again. She chased after them, people knocking everything over as they tried to get rid of her. She managed to get one ring, but then fazed through an ice sculpture and got the ring stuck.
