Prologue
"Mom?Dad?Why are you looking at me like that?" Makoto Naegi says confused,"Is something wrong?"
"Please don't tell me Mom's pregnant.I mean I love Komaru but jeez I can't handle another sibling."
Naegi's parents look at each other while holding a piece of paper.This made Makoto anxious of what's about to be said."Makoto my son,You are going to be receiving your high school education at Hope's peak academy!"Both his mom and dad went up to their confused son and gave him a big hug.
"I'm going where?"Makoto squirms out of his parents bear hug"Wait,don't people who go their some type of ultimate something? I'm nothing but a average teenager!"
"I thought the same when I first found out but"His mom stops herself "...no I mean don't sell yourself short.You're our little lucky boy."Yeah what your mom said!"Dad raises his fist into the air
"I'm your lucky boy?"
"So I'm going to be inside of one of the highest rated academies and be a student!?You know I'm going to have study so much before I get there!"Makoto starts rambling with his hands on his head"My grades are not the best I know that but god if I don't bring them up there I'm not gonna last a month"
Makoto parents get uneasy hearing this"About that studying part..."his mom starts but his dad continues
"Yeah not happening sorry kiddo but you have to be somewhere else other than here"
"What does that mean?"Makoto tilts his head"Don't tell me you signed me up for that stupid butler camp?"
"We signed you up before we knew you were going to Hope's peak academy"His mom responded"anyway we had this talk before.you already do all the chores around here.You always do what you're told. You're always so helpful.Me and your father believe you would be the best butler.It don't hurt that it pays very well too"
"I can't really do anything about.i guess I'll just deal with it.Damn it why I am such a pushover?"
2 months later*
Celestia's POV*
"Here you are my lady"The head of the butler institute gives me a tablet with all the butlers and their information.I skim through,passing hundreds of candidates."I can't just let anyone be my personal butler,he has to at least be a B-rank.."My thoughts stop as my finger slipped and clicks a random profile.I stare at the profile picture and see a boy,around my age,with brown eyes and brown hair with one strand of hair sticking out the top.
He's...so average but he's took my interest by surprise.I look through his profile for bit and found out that's he also going to be attending Hope's peak Academy.I kept him in the back of my head while looking at other possible butlers.
After a while of looking,I put down the tablet and sat down for some tea with the head of the butler institute.Normally tea usually clears my head but I couldn't get that Naegi boy out of my head.He's so average but my intuition tells me there's something more about him.I made my mind up."Sir? I have made decision on who I will choose.After much consideration,I will have Makoto Naegi as my Butler."I say with elegant delivery
"Makoto? I...I..I see."He clears his throat before continuing"Splendid choice Miss Ludenburg but I must say he often finds himself in unique..how do I say this...situations out of his control."
I give a fake smile and take a sip of the rest of my tea."When can he start?"I ask
"Next week"he answers quickly"We'll need him to get everything packed and ready to go."
"You really outdid yourself Taeko.One things brothers me through.The way I found him was just too...Lucky."
