Right so I have finally got round to writing this but I just want to say I got some inspiration for this fanfic from a brilliant fanfic called White Dragon Emperor of the Morning Star by an author called Valsi (check it out) also Rin will not get his flames until maybe the second or third chapter because of the way I want to play this story out but without any further waiting ill start the chapter

Yuri Egin was in the middle of giving birth, she had mixed feelings about this as she wanted to have children more than anything else but they were the sons of Satan and she was an exorcist so the Vatican would punish her for it. As she finished giving birth, she saw that they were twins but only one of them was normal, the other one had azure flames all over his body but they didn't seem to hurt him at all. 'My babies I think I'll call the one with the flames Rin, yes I think that will suit him and the other will be called Yukio, yes that will be the perfect name for him'.

Sadly, Yuri died a few hours after that due to complications during childbirth. Just after she died a chill washed over the room and the electricity went off, azure flames in the shapes of a humanoid and a voice was heard "My sons I am so sorry that I must split you up like this but Rin this is for your safety, I am going to give you to a good friend of mine in the universe that is in between Assiah and Gehenna, I have decided to all it the all factions universe... I truly do not want to have to do this Rin but it is the best way to keep you safe. I will still check on you and watch you grow up; I will also watch you grow up Yukio make me proud my boys."

13 Years later

"Rin get out of bed now!" Azazel screamed upstairs to the 13-year-old, who once again had overslept. "Alright, alright I'm coming old man I'll be there soon" the temperamental teenager screamed back, "If you don't come down in less than five minutes, I'll eat your breakfast and today is a pretty hard assignment so you'll need it". That simple response caused the teen to jump out of his bed throw on some clothes and sprint down to the dining room in his guardian's house, when he entered the dining room, he saw that there was a lot more food than usual for breakfast and not only that it was also much fancier than usual.

"Say old man, why is there so much food today?" Rin questioned his guardian. "how could you forget Rin today is-" he was suddenly cut off by a girl coming into the room "Six years ago today I moved in with you Rin-kun I can't believe you forgot" the girl sang in a teasing tone. "Now, now Akeno we both know Rin isn't the smartest so don't make fun of him for it" Azazel chimed in "OI IM PLENTY SMART OLD MAN" Rin began to scream before he realised they were provoking him on purpose before he took a seat and started grumbling his thanks for the food.

"All jokes aside kids tonight Akeno you will go with Rin on this mission but you won't be fighting together because there are two rouge fallen angles instead of one and you have to learn how to fight by yourself instead of only relying on each other for everything because it is very possible that one day one of you won't be able to help the other, but don't let me drag the mood down let's eat the delicious food that Akeno has prepared for us".

As the three ate they talked and even shared laughs they reminisced how Akeno had come to live with them and all the happy memories they had shared, after they ate Azazel said he had to go out and do something after thanking Akeno for the delicious breakfast he then left.

As Akeno was washing up and doing the dishes Rin went to the couch to have a nap because he still wasn't too happy about being woken up he lay down and was peacefully drifting off when he heard Akeno begin to scold him "Azazel-sama said to make sure you don't go back to sleep Rin, you have to get up now" his response was simple "Give me a hand up". As Akeno grabbed his hand and began to pull him up he saw she was off balance and he took his chance and swept her ankle while simultaneously pulling her onto the couch with him "that'll teach you to get me up" he said while trying to hold back laughter. 'Well Rin if that's how you want to do this, I guess I'll just have to beat you' Akeno suddenly jumped onto Rin's stomach straddling him, "Akeno I think I might have sent the wrong message, what are you doing?" he said in a nervous voice. Before Akeno could tease Rin anymore Azazel walked into the room "I wondered when you two would begin to feel this way about each other" he said while not even bothering to try and hold back his laughter at the situation. After he composed himself, he regained his serious demeanour and spoke again "Rin it's time to train follow me"

The two spent the entire day training and after they were done it was time for the mission, as they went to meet Akeno by the front door Azazel spoke to Rin out of her earshot "Rin these rouge fallen angles are more dangerous than normal ones because they have actually being training instead of being lazy and doing nothing, so I need you to be careful out there, but please don't tell Akeno about it because she will try and stick beside you". Rin could tell how serious he was being so he just nodded in response and went out to meet Akeno at the front door. "Good luck both of you!" Azazel shouted to both of them and then they were teleported away and to their mission.

Before Rin could enter the mansion where the rouge fallen angles were hanging around Akeno grabbed his arm "Rin please be careful out there, if you don't think you can kill your opponent easily then come find me so I can protect you, OK?" hearing this made Rin slightly annoyed at how weak she thought he was "Just because I can't do any magic doesn't mean I can't fight Akeno, but I promise I'll find you if I can't handle it but you have to promise the same thing to me ok?" all he got in response was a nod.

When the two split up and found their opponents then things started to go astray, Rin's opponent was stronger than him but slower so he didn't get away from the fight unscathed but compared to Akeno his luck was brilliant as her opponent got a lucky hit in on her at the very start which later turned out to be fatal "little girl are you the only one they sent to fight me? What a mistake oh well die a horrible death" As the rouge fallen angel was about to finish Akeno off someone cut his outstretched arms off "Wha? WHO DARES TO INTERRUPT ME?" he roared sadly in this time Akeno had bled out, she was happy with the life she had led after meeting Rin and Azazel and maybe she would be reborn into a life just like it whenever suddenly a girl with red hair stepped beside her. "Kiba finish the fallen angel. I think I've found my queen piece."

Instantly after Rin finished his fight he ran around until he found where Akeno was fighting but when he saw she wasn't there he began to panic "AKENO, WHERE ARE YOU THIS ISNT FUNNY, COME ON STOP HIDING LETS GO HOME AKENO" when Rin finally realised she wasn't the he began to break down and cry "Akeno why, you were my only friend. I swear even if it kills me I will find you".
