Synopsis: Growing up, Sango was often told by her village elders that the Ayakashi were evil and merciless and were bent on destroying humanity. This understanding was drilled into them and they believed it to be true until the day that she and Kohaku were sent out on an errand and were ambushed by a group of demons. Still young and inexperienced in demon slaying, Sango felt powerless to protect her brother, Kohaku, but she was determined to try even if it meant her life. And it would surely have meant her life till a mysterious saviour, Ginji, who unknown to her, happens to be Ayakashi shaped shifted as human stepped in to save them both. Ever so thankful, Sango was feeling indebtedness to him, but kind-hearted Ginji only wished for her to live a good life. For her to serve and protect others in need, which Sango undertook this as an oath for the rest of her life. Intrigued by this girl, Ginji took it upon himself to watch over her even though the Ayakashi typically held tremendous disdain for human beings and usually don't involve themselves with mere mortals and their messy affairs, but Sango was different as he somehow sensed a kindred spirit within this human girl who was blossoming into a promising young woman. The more he became attached to her as her prowess grew, the more he was unable to ignore his growing love for her. But his heart still also yearned for yet another human girl, Aoi. But she was not to be his as she was already betrothed to another powerful Ayakashi.

Sango's life was now more focused and determined, she could be brave for those she loved and thanks to this once stranger she now had the means to uphold her will. She was changed for the better, ever since that fateful encounter with the mysterious stranger named Ginji. He whom risked his life to save her and her brother even though they could offer nothing in exchange. Through her determination and dedication, she trained hard and readied herself to be the next demon slayer aspiring to be like Ginji to help those who can't help themselves. She knew now that no matter how challenging life could be, and no matter how stronger she was determined to become, in some ways it was comforting there was the knowledge a guardian angel watching over her. Even during her most turbulent times when fighting against her arch- nemesis Naraku, and losing the people she loved had been the most hardest for her. Unbeknownst to her, Ginji had been her secret admirer all along, encouraging her not to give up hope. Her admiration for him grew into an unbounded love. For the first time in her life, she felt at peace and happiness.

Prologue

"Ginji…" Hearing her voice whispered sweet nothings to his ear, sent shivers down to his spine.

Leaning closer, Sango spoke his name seductively into his foxy shaped ears. Taken aback by her boldness, Ginji stood motionlessly in his spot as her dominant right hand softly caressed against his red stained cheeks, blushing profusely from her undivided attention which he was not accustomed too. Her chocolate brown eyes gazed soulfully into his gentle, inquisitive grey eyes that always seemed to weakened her in the knees as her hands continued to explore along the contour of his handsome face. Tiny beads of sweat nearly formed the sides of his temples. His breathing became erratic causing his heartbeat to thud faster. Gulping nervously, he had never been up close to a female human before.

"Shhh… it's alright I will never hurt you, Ginji. You know me better than that," Sango said quietly in her soothing voice, noticing his discomfort though she was secretly amused to see that her mere presence could still have an effect on him.

"I… uh…" Ginji's voice stammered, averting his eyes away from her in embarrassment and shyly looking down at his feet. For the first time in his life, he was at a loss for words while she was grinning from ear to ear. Gasping in surprise, he felt the strokes of her fingers brushing underneath his jawline and slowly tilting his head towards her direction, surprisingly to find her giving him her most remarkable smile.

"Do you trust me Ginji?" Sango questioning him once more, gazing at him with such sincerity in her eyes causing him to sway his emotions inside him. Deeply touched by her revelation.

"Yes, I do. I trust you with my life, Sango." Answering her back with a timid smile of his own, brushing the bangs off her forehead. Silently, he placed his hand onto her hand, interlocking his fingers with hers and turning her palm over by tenderly kissing it.

Satisfied with his answer, Sango inched her head closer to his face and pressed his warm, inviting lips against her. Widening his eyes in shock, Ginji was the recipient of his first kiss from a human being. Akayashi women would flirt outrageously or throw themselves at him but never imagined that he would ended to be seduced since he avoided to get an emotional attachment with anyone until now...

Encircling her arms around his neck, Sango deepened the enticing kiss and parting his lips with her tongue, sliding inside it and tasting the tip of his tongue. Ginji gave an appreciative groan in response. Wrapping his arms around her waist and tightening his grip on her, he returned her kiss fervently.

Ginji was feeling rather lightheadedness and his heart strangely fluttering. Never in his life felt such powerful emotions stirring inside him, not even when he was with Aoi. She felt safe and contentment to be around but somehow, it was different with Sango. Sango was wild and unpredictable.

Sango whimpered in pleasure as he continued to ravage her mouth – biting, nipping and exploring all over as if he had been starved for life. Breaking off their kiss, his mouth began to suck and tease all over her delicate, tantalizing neck erotically. Closing off her eyes, Sango kept her mouth shut from screaming out in ecstasy.

Then in his frenzied mind, his left hand began to wonder on its own, stroking downwards to her cleavage and sneakily pass his hand through her taijiya fuku garment. Sango gave a low moan as his hand played with her sensitive nipple, and as well fondling her well proportioned breast. She could feel the arousal in between her legs, was already wet with desire.

Suddenly the rational part of his mind came flooding back, his face became flustered in embarrassment seeing her in an almost naked form with her garment half open revealing her exquisite modelesque body and scandalously, his hand was still cupping her breast.

"I… I truly apologized.." His voice sounded mortified, snatching his hand away as if it was burned by fire. The sudden jerking movement caused her to stumbled backwards and she fell to the ground with a look of bewilderment on her face.

"Wha… what are you doing?" Sango gave him a confused glance, she hastily closed off her kimono and dusted the dirt off as she stood up.

"I don't know what came over me," He told her sorrowfully, lowering his head in shame. "It would be best if we have forgotten this ever happened." He ignored the sounds of protests coming from her.

"Don't you dare patronize me!" She exclaimed in accusations, "You felt it too, since the day you wrote those letters to me years ago, and fate brought us back together again. I am not a child anymore Ginji."

"I am so sorry, Sango." He shook his head, his gentle eyes pleading for her to understand but her angry eyes stared back defiantly at him.
