It was raining at the jade palace. Hard pelting rain, sometimes accompanied with hail and often thunder. As a result of this all the warriors took to staying inside. It was much warmer in their and it was impossible to train when you couldn't see anything but rain in front off you. The first few days of this development were fun, the warriors would play games and read and paint but as the days turned into weeks the novelty seemed to wear off.

One grey morning, while rain dribbled down the palace's jade roof, the five and po entered the kitchen.

"breakfast?" questioned Po excitedly. Everyone nodded so he set about making bean buns and noodles. Just as he was opening the cupboard to collect some more onions a large, glass jar smashed to the floor. Showering the ground and everyone within the vicinity with crystal shards.

"watch it!" crane cried as he fished a shard out of his cup of tea.

"ooops" Po apologised and began sweeping up the glass but before he could finish Monkey noticed something odd about the jar.

"hey it's empty!" he shouted. "Po! You ate all my almond biscuits then replaced the jar!" he hurtled himself at the large panda who waved his arms helplessly as the monkey covered his eyes with his tail.

"gerr off" Po wailed trying too detach the monkey from his face. With no success he started bolting towards the door, monkey clinging helplessly to him. The two raced from the kitchen, Po running as fast as his chubby panda body would let him, monkey still grasping his face.

"they're so childish!" Tigress sighed, though she was smiling. "running around like headless chickens"

The others nodded but had no time to elaborate their agreement because just then Master Shifu entered. "good morning Masters!" he greeted them.

"good morning Master Shifu" they all coursed back.

Master Shifu stared from one face too the next trying to figure out who was missing. It didn't take long for him to notice. "where's the Panda and Monkey?"

The others all glanced at each other guiltily hoping someone else would make up something too say quickly.

"errrr" Crane began, staring around hopelessly for he figures of Po and Monkey.

At that moment the two hurtled into the kitchen. Po lying on the floor, kicking his legs while Monkey tried to grab them. Both animals had not noticed Master Shifu watching them until he gave a cough.

Springing up into normal positions, the two dusted off their clothes and stared helplessly into Shifu's cold blue eyes. "sit down" he orded in a curt voice. The primate and bear both took their seats, glowering at each other.

At that moment they're was a knock at the door and a sheepdog entered. He was tall, with sopping wet grey and white fur. He had oak brown eyes and was wearing a dark green overcoat and lighter green shirt, green tartan trousers and tartan cap, pulled low over his face so half of it was hidden in shadow. Clutched in his right paw was a gnarled walking stick and in the other was a ruby red scroll. Clearing his throat, he bowed too each master in turn, coiffing his cap to them. Once he had greeted everyone, he placed his hat back on his head and undid the scroll.

"my name is burton. I am a messenger. Here is your message" he began in a stern, rough voice and then proceeded to read the scroll. "Dear Master's of the jade palace. My son who is obsessed with Kung Fu asked me personally if he could come visit you. Of course I was shocked but pleased so it is with great honour that I bestow too you the prince for two months of holiday here. It also came too my attention that there was a form that needs signing by Master Shifu and the dragon warrior in my palace so at the end of the two months please could you both return with the prince so you may sign it. If that form is not signed or you refuse too take good care of my son, I will throw China and England into all-out war so I have decided who will look after my son during this trip personally and that is Master Viper. I have heard of her kindness and decided she will be a perfect accompaniment for the prince while he is in china. Yours sincerely, king henry of England."

The masters were completely silent. Even Master Shifu was quiet. At that moment there was a noise like a cannon shooting as behind the sheepdog appeared six pigs, all clutching a golden throne draped in royal red, the first pig blowing on a silvery horn. The throne was lowered too the ground and two pigs reached down, and bowing, pulled back the red drapes.
