My Hope to the Readers

A story to give hope during the Corona Crisis

It was a clear and calm day in a beautiful country side you find yourself in. The green grass tilted from the blowing wind and a few birds chirped. And sitting on a hill underneath an oak tree, a man in a blue suit sat on a bench under the branches. He glanced back to find you standing there and said in surprise, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there. But I am glad that you're here."

Standing up he introduced himself, "I'm known as TheWriterForGod42 and I'm here to give you a message about the Corona virus crisis and even though it's been told a lot, how to get a handle on it.

"And I won't be alone in telling it." TheWriterForGod42 then pointed to his left with his right hand as he said, "And here to help me out, are a few friends to each of us…"

"He's right." Another voice said and you looks to their right. Standing next to TheWriterForGod42 was a small young Hobbit. With a bow he said, "I am Frodo Baggins of the Shire and I was called upon by TheWriterForGod42 to come and speak with you, along with a few others whom we can call as friends in this time of uncertainty."

"I'll take it from here." Anther man in a black business suit said as he took the spot light from the Hobbit, "Hi there, I'm Tony Stark, creator of the Iron Man armor and team member of the Avengers. As my short yet good friend Frodo here said, we're here for you during the Corona Epidemic. As you all know, this Corona thing seems like a scary time…"

"But it doesn't entirely have to be." Someone else finished. You look to see a man in blue spandex walking up and said, "Hi there, Superman here. What Tony Stark was saying, the Corona virus is something to take seriously, but you shouldn't be overwhelmed by fear."

"You've got a point there." Another figure walked up, one dressed in an orange Gi. With a wave of his hand he said, "Hey there, my name's Son Goku. And here's what you should do to combat this foe. One: You should always wash your hands after doing and touching just about anything. Animals, food, going to the bathroom and our eyes, nose, ears and mouth."

"There's also a rule that might be a little hard to follow, but it will be necessary to follow." Superman added. He had a slight smile as he said, "You should at least try to keep a distance of up to six feet from others, especially in public places such as grocery stores. It's called 'Social Distancing' and the method is to keep you from standing too close next to someone who may or may not have the disease."

"But it shouldn't discourage you from wanting to see them or be around friends or family." Tony added. He looked sincere as he said, "They're going to need you, even if you can't get too close. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't protect yourself as well."

"Like Son Goku said," Frodo chimed in, "keep yourself clean and healthy during this time. Diseases can effect everyone." He gave a slight smile as he said, "From the smallest person, insect or Hobbit..."

All five looked behind Son Goku as the Titan Godzilla appeared a few yards away. He roared his iconic roar before TheWriterForGod42 then said, "To the biggest man, alien or Titan."

"A suit of armor can protect one from a number of things." Tony put in. But he shook his head as he added, "But only you can decide what type of armor, whether literal," He glanced over to Superman as he said, "or metaphorical, that you protect yourself with."

"And you shouldn't let this epidemic stop you from being a good person." TheWriterForGod42 said. You look to him as he said, "If you see someone who is need of help, don't be afraid to lend a hand. And though I have no right to ask this of you, do please pray for those who are sick, their families, and those who have lost their lives. They need your support."

He smiled and asked, "Think you could do that?"

You nod and say that you'll try.

"That's all that we can ask of you." Superman said, sounding grateful that you would try. Goku then said, "You're doing a good thing for your community by trying to follow these rules."

"And we know that it won't be easy." Frodo said in understanding. Tony then added, "But we know that you can do it." Then he added by looking to reader and saying, "Also, don't be a huge pain in the rear and joke about the Corona virus. Don't joke about having it when you don't and don't make fun of those who do."

"Yeah, that's not very cool." Goku nodded. You look back when Godzilla growls in agreement. TheWriterForGod42 then said, "We thank you for your time and wish you luck out there.

"And also remember..." TheWriterForGod42 says to you with a smile. You both look between each of the four as more and more characters appeared behind each of them. They look to you with smirks and smiles of their own and say together in unison, "You are not alone."
