Time for a new story! Today we have a prompt from a Reddit user called "Hermes_Erebus". The prompt was: "Jemma goes to season 1, hydra hasn't revealed yet. She can't tell anyone about hydra but can tell somethings like Fitz and her end up together and sky changes her name. She needs the teams helps to go back to her own time."

Thank you so much for the prompt, Hermes_Erebus! I've decided to set this is season 6, excluding Sarge, after Daisy and Jemma save Fitz from space. Everything is just back to normal at the Lighthouse.

WARNINGS: Nothing, really, for this story. I've just rated it T in case I add something later. There might be light kissing between FitzSimmons but nothing too crazy.

Jemma's POV

It was chilly and rainy outside; typical for April mornings around here. I was just sitting in the Lighthouse's lab, contemplating life's true existence. Okay, maybe I wasn't doing that, but I was bored out of my mind. We haven't had a mission since Fitz got back, so it's been very slow here at the Lighthouse. May has been training Davis and Piper like crazy; I guess it's a way she de-stresses after the whole Coulson thing. Yo-Yo and Daisy often train together as well; they've been trying new things with their powers. Mack's been busy as director and Deke is long gone to who knows where. The only people left with nothing to do are Fitz and me.

Fitz has been trying a few new projects, for most of which he doesn't need my help. Without missions, none of the agents are getting hurt, other than minor cuts and bruises, so I don't even have them to take care of.

I almost feel lost here. It's the first time I've felt this way since I joined S.H.I.E.L.D., really.

I just need something to do, I told myself. I should find something, shouldn't I? Something interesting...

"Jemma?" came that familiar Scottish voice. I turned around in my swivel chair to see my handsome husband smiling at me. He held two mugs of hot coffee.

"Thank you, Fitz," I said with a smile as he handed me a mug. I took a sip, then stood up and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek. "How has your morning been so far?"

He smiled the most adorable smile I've seen before. He wrapped his arms affectionately around my waist. "Amazing, now that I got to see you."

I beamed and pressed my nose against his, closing my eyes and taking in his scent. He rubbed his hands up and down my back gently.

"I'm fine, May, I promise..." someone said. I gently pulled away from Fitz and looked up to see Piper and May walking into the lab. May appeared to be dragging the younger agent against her will.

"What's going on?" I asked the pair.

May dragged Piper closer to me. "She hurt her hand during training," May told me. She gestured at Piper to show me, but she refused.

Piper rolled her eyes as May forcefully grabbed her wrist and showed me her hand. "Fine. Davis and I were working on our jousting skills and he whacked my hand pretty hard."

I gently took Piper's hand in mine, squinting to get a better look at it. It was purple and blue; clearly bruised. I looked up at her to see her in a little pain. "I think I'll take an x-ray, just to be safe. This looks a lot like a boxer's fracture," I declared.

"Thanks, Simmons," May said.

I nodded as I began preparing for the x-ray. "Not a problem."

After a few moments of preparation, I had Piper sit on the lab exam table. I took a few x-rays and found that it was just a little fracture; that it would heal quickly.

"Just a hairline fracture, much better than I thought," I told her as I gathered a few bandaging supplies. "No training or combat for a few days, please. Let this heal before it gets worse."

"Copy that," Piper said. I could've sworn she sounded a little annoyed.

I bandaged her hand up for her and gave her some pain meds, then sent her on her way.

"Well..." I said to Fitz. He was working on something. "...that was the most exciting event that's happened in quite the long time."

He chuckled. "I'm sure you can find something to work on."

I smirked and leaned against the desk. "I can't unless someone gets hurt or something like that."

"I'll give you something to do," he said, taking my hand.

"What?" I smiled.

"Go down to the storage room and get something to cook. Baking always gives you something to do."

I patted his hand. "Okay. Anything you want in particular?"

"I do love a good brownie..." He licked his lips.

I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "I'll see what I can do."

I have to admit, I kind of freaked out when I got to the storage room. It was dark, and big, and the thunder outside made me jump. I turned on the fluorescent lights but they flickered in an eerie sort of way.

"Hello?" I shouted, but all I received in return was the echo of my own voice.

I took a deep breath and looked around the shelves for something; maybe a cake mix. "Where's the food?" I whispered to myself. I inched around the seemingly endless shelving appliances and finally found what I thought was the food shelves.

I started to hear an odd noise. I can only describe it as what you'd imagine a baby pegasus to sound like. Yes, I know that's a stupid analogy, but honestly that's what it sounded like.

As I approached this noise, my head ached more and more. What is going on? I thought to myself. I continued to walk until the headache got borderline unbearable. Holy God, I thought. I gripped my head in my hands.

As I stepped one step farther, I felt myself step on what I thought was a rock. I lifted up my foot to see a little white stone with red lines across it. Before I knew it, everything went black.

A/N: OK so I know this chapter was a little on the shorter side but I wanted to end here. Let me know if you're liking this so far! There was more to the prompt than what I put in this story but if I put the whole thing in it would've spoiled the ending. Once again, thank you to Hermes_Erebus on Reddit!
