The Beach
Disclaimer: I don't own Lovely Complex, or it's characters. Just this idea I thought of 2 months ago. Enjoy minna.
The group of friends were heading out to the beach. It was agreed upon just few days ago. How exciting as summer had just begun for all of them. Few of the friends did have to attend summer classes.
The summer classes would begin in few days. The free days they had before the start of the summer classes they took advantage of. They all agreed to meet in front of the train station.
"As usual…she's late." Nobuo hisses when looking at her wristwatch.
"She's not the only person, lovely." Her boyfriend, Nakao says.
"They're quite alike. That will never change."
Risa and Atsushi was just few blocks away from the train station. Unexpectedly they bumped into one another at the school.
"Are you stupid you damn giant?" Otani makes a run for it, out of the school.
"Shut up!" She spat back.
She chases after him. Why in the world she was crushing on someone like him? Oh right he may be short but he was such a good and decent man. Not when he's running his mouth though. Risa didn't appreciate that too much.
"We're almost there!"
They made it in time to the train station. Their friends as usual upset they made it late. A train supposedly taking was missed too.
"We're going to have to wait for the next one…" Nobuo says.
"Least we're here…" she joked trying her best to change the mood.
All the boys could do was scoff. More Otani than the other two. They kept themselves busy lovey dovey with their girlfriends. Risa watches in awe and envy.
"If I could just be that way with him…"
"Don't even think of it…amazon"
She scoffs ignoring his words. Those words hurt her. She ignored the feeling either way. Happily out of nowhere, they talked of the next concert. They would definitely attend soon as Otani has gotten the tickets.
"It's by the end of the summer. As usual just like last year."
She clapped her hands together. Either way she couldn't wait to enjoy her last few weeks of summer soon as summer classes were over and done with.
The train had come and made it in time. They entered soon as the double doors opened. As well as soon as people boarded off. Grabbing empty seats by the window. Talked among what was to happen when getting to the beach.
After 10 minutes the door closes and off it went to Hokkaido. The group of friends were ecstatic to enjoy a cool summer day at the beach.
"Maybe he'll like me in my new swimsuit." Risa says in a cheery voice.
"Today should be a fun outing." Otani grinned.
Arriving at the beach that early afternoon the gang goes on finding a spot. A spot nearby the water and the snacks stands. They all gotten themselves changed in their swimsuits.
Risa wore a cute all girly swimsuit. A bit revealing even for her tall stature. She wore a pink and blue bikini swimsuit. As she was a young tall women, Nobuo suggested she wore a bikini instead of the school's swimsuit.
She agreed to it but was a little nervous soon as she stepped out of the bathroom. Her swimsuit caught few eyes showing off a bit of her growing booty too. Otani gasped at the sight of Risa.
"Is she a real girl..?" he was punched in the arms by Nobuo.
"Yes she is! Don't diss her that way!"
He rose a brow and his arms chuckling nervously. Watching her from the corner of his eyes, she looked kinda cute. He kept his opinion to himself not to ever ever tell Risa or anyone else.
"Otani-kun, let's go swimming!"
Risa tells him when grabbing his arms. She smiles looking back at him. He returns his own smile seeing how happy she was.
'I always have a good time with her.' his heart suddenly thumped soon as he thought of that.
The afternoon was a joy for the group of friends. They played in the water as Risa and Otani played with few small children. The parents were surprised by the height of Risa. But thanked her for saving one of their children from nearly drowning.
"How brave is Risa-san?" Chiharu tells her boyfriend, "She's such a great friend too." the young shy friend tells them.
They all agreed. As one of their eyes looked back at Otani. The short man of the whole group watched Risa in enjoyment.
Risa was getting ice cream for the small children. One of them thinking Otani was a middle school student.
"Ha ha. He's not in middle school. We're in high school together." she tells the small boy.
He didn't believe her soon as he took the vanilla ice cream cone from her. The others just enjoyed each others company while eating a delicious cold treat.
Off they go swimming again. Otani stays behind relaxing under an umbrella. The air was powerful hot as Otani tried laying comfortably on the huge sheet.
"Let's play beach ball." one of the friends suggested.
They all agreed to it. Grabbing a beach ball that was blown up by Risa earlier in the afternoon. Risa takes the kids back to their parents.
"Thank you for looking after them."
"It's not a problem." she says goodbye to them for the time being. "hope we can hang out like this another time."
They agreed to it with a nod and wave. Risa walks quickly to where here friends were. The sight of the beach ball excited her.
"Oh yes…let's play!"
Off to a quiet spot they all played. More of the girls than the boys as it was boys versus girls. The girls winning points. Nobuo made sure her boyfriend, Nakao was encouraged when talking sweet nothings to him.
"You can beat me right, babe?"
"Oh yes I can..just you watch!" he tells her when slamming the ball to the opposite side.
They continued on playing not taking the game too serious. A joy for all of them as the sun went down.
Swimming was on the agenda again as they decided to race for the heck of it. Boys versus girls again. Even though he was short, Otani beats Risa.
"You cheated..dammit!" she complained.
They tried again and didn't stop til Risa beat him. Having enough of her complaints he gave in and lets her win. Not saying a word he faked the loss.
"You got me good…Koizumi-san…"
She jumped for joy soon as he lost. Grabbing his face and kissing his lips unexpectedly. He was shocked eyes widening looking away from her.
"I'm sorry..Otani-kun." she giggled swimming back to the others.
He was left behind shrugging his shoulders. He followed suit pretending not to mind the peck in honesty.
"It's okay but let's not do something like that again…" he tells her.
The gang looked over the delicious food being prepared on a few food stands. As afternoon turned to evening they decided on eating first before taking off. Knowing what they wanted to eat, making sure to get it before the stands closed up.
"Are you having a good time, Risa?" one of the girls asked.
"Ah yes I am. Too bad in a few days we go back to school for summer classes."
"Well it's the last year and we should be doing well for our senior year."
"Yes let's do that!"
The girls happily chatted. The boys just watched them. More Otani wandering what was on Risa's mind. He joins her by her side looking over what she would be eating for dinner.
"That looks delicious."
"Oh yes. I ordered it. We should be getting the food soon too."
The friends enjoyed each others company. They talked of what's to happen next. Going home of course soon as they were finished eating.
"I'll be playing video games soon as I'm home." Risa says.
The girls just chuckled. Risa and her silly video games as always. Nobuo wanted her to really ask Otani to go somewhere.
"Instead of home we're going to be spending time together, right love?" she looked at her boyfriend.
"Oh yes, right, Nobu-chan."Nakao winks at her.
The shy pairing agreed to it too. As for Risa and Otani, it was unsure for now. They just looked at each other.
"Maybe we should do something to kill time..as it's not that late as of yet."
"Ah yes. Maybe a Karaoke place soon as we go back home."
"That sounds lovely. Enjoy your date, Risa, and Otani." Nobuo clasps her hands together.
They all had a good laugh. Mostly the others than Risa and Otani. The remainder of the hour was good fun before they left to do their own things.
