Nightmare took a step forward, and I chuckled. "So…" I said. "Did you really want this?" I asked, my hands glowing a bright orange and yellow. He smiled, that evil, maniacal grin, and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a knife and pointed the point of the blade at me. "Did YOU really have to lie to your sister?" He asked.
I sighed. I'd asked myself the same thing too many times to count, and now…I didn't have an answer. "I…I didn't know how she'd react," I said. "That I'm not normal, I mean. A demigod, son of Zythor, God of the three elements, Water, Fire, Lightning…" He took another step forward, and white-hot fire started to dance along my fingertips.
"Oh, so you finally recognize it?" He asked. "I've known about your universe for a while now, actually," He stated casually. "Looking into the code of your AU…well, it's a tragic sight to behold." He laughed. "You and Crystal…you're the only people with the SOUL trait of Loyalty!" It started to rain outside, no doubt because of my anger. "All alone, no one understanding you…" He took the opportunity and pressed FIGHT. He lunged at me, slashing with his knife. I dodged, and a blast of lightning shook the hall.
Gaster Blasters appeared around us, hundreds of them, and they all fired. He teleported here and there, dodging left and right, and kept slashing at me. "Mom told me about anomalies in the Multiverse, a long time ago," I started. "I never knew that you would be one of them," I dodged another attack and a pure black sword as dark as midnight appeared in my hand and I slashed at him. He dodged, grinning. "your sister was pretty ignorant, huh?" He asked. I growled, and held my sword in the air. "Lexus," I whispered, and suddenly his eyes glowed bright pink.
Betty had helped me with this enchantment, fusing the power of FEAR into the sword. He screamed and fell to his knees. "AAAAAAAAGGHHHHH!" He cried. I just smiled and advanced leisurely. "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT!" He cried. "I'LL LEAVE YOU ALONE! I'LL BRING THEM BACK! JUST STOP IT!" I smirked and snapped my fingers. The pink glow stopped and he collapsed. I suddenly felt tired, no doubt the result of using violet SOUL magic so much. I lost the ability to stand and fell asleep into a stranger's arms. "W-Who...?" I started, but got cut off by the stranger. "Shhh, it's alright, Ein," A voice said. "Knew that enchantment would help someday," A second voice said. I closed my eyes, my last thought being that those voices were familiar.
