Look, Don't judge me about their intro ok? I liked the idea that Summer's first day was a parallel of Ruby's but with her own unique backstory and one for all the characters! I am in love with Summer's Backstory so I will be so excited to share it with you guys through short spurts. PS I'm a bad guy, I have stolen Turniphaters writing of the canon events. Seriously, go read RWBY and JNPR watch the show. Seriously it's real good if you like reaction fics.

Summer Rose was bouncing with excitement, She had gotten into Beacon two years early! Passing the Signal Academy graduation exam was easy once she snuck in to take it. Now she got to go beacon with Taiyang. They had been friends since childhood and with him being two years older, she would have had to send him off to beacon and not see him for two years. SO instead of doing that and leaving her childhood friend/crush to himself, Summer took the test needed to graduate, snuck it through to the principal, had it signed off and sent to Beacon with none the wiser. Easy peasy!

Now she was peering out the window of the bullhead, bouncing with Tai trying to calm her down. "Cmon Sum, ease down a bit, your gonna throw up all over the ship then no one's gonna be your friend." She always got like this when excited, and he was hoping to help his incredibly awkward and socially inept friend earn some friends.

"But looook, it's so cool Tai! Oh oh, do you see that guy's collapsible lance?! Is it a shotgun or a sniper… I just can't wait to get down there and see some weapons!" Summer shouted, throwing her hands up excitedly.

Tai sighed, the day was already feeling like a long one. "I mean it, you can't just look at weapons the whole time, your gonna be on a team with three other people."

"Well, you know… I thought... We could be a team?" Summer looked up hopeful at her friend.

With another sigh, something he knew was going to become common he said "Sum, I think," he bit his lip trying to think of a way to say it without sounding mean. "I think you should try to find some other people to team with, you know, break out of your shell."

"Excuse me Xiao Long, are you telling me you don't want to be on a team with me? Your wonderful amazing childhood friend whos always there for you?"

"No no, it's just," The door for the bullhead opens behind him as he says this, flashing Summer a smile "I'll see ya at the orientation Summer!" Tai says jumping out the door and running off.

Grumbling to herself, she slung her axe out, inspecting it, before collapsing it back into its stored form and walking off the ship. "Stupid Tai, stupid Beacon, I took that test to be here for him and he just goes off and abandons me like that? Not cool at all." She throws her hands up, blocking her vision. Suddenly Summer found herself on the floor with a pissy looking girl hovering over her. Noticing her looking down at her she sticks a hand out "help me up? Please?"

The woman huffs, turning her head "do it yourself you brat, and next time watch where you're going." The woman struts off, leaving her sitting on the floor dejected.

"Great, already made an enemy, and was abandoned, welcome to Beacon," she muttered to herself. A shadow blocked the sun, prompting her to look up, seeing a smiling boy his hand out.

He pulled Summer up, and shook her hand "Hey, the names Qrow, sorry about my sister she's kinda a bitch." He flashed her his best winning smile. She was pretty cute, maybe he could team up with her.

Summer smiled back Maybe things will work out after all.

The bullhead landed on the pad with Headmaster Ozpin and his TA Glynda. Out of it strode with their heads held high was the famous Team STRQ. The top team of the second years, returning from the latest of successful missions they've been sent on. Their leader, Summer Rose, met him halfway and threw him a goofy salute while smiling.

"Report sir, The town is safe, Grimm are dead, and everyone is back home safe." She handed the payment the town had settled with beacon for the job to the headmaster.

"Good good, Send me the full report once your team is settled Ms. Rose," Taking a long sip of his coffee he handed the money to Goodwitch and rubbed the top of Summer's head like she was a puppy "And good job Summer" She beamed up at him, happy the headmaster was proud of her. As she went to call her team out, the world turned, everything phasing out and a new landscape was around her.

Whirling around, she reached for her ax to find it gone. Her Rose Revenant! She could see her team, Ozpin, Goodwitch, A Faunus girl around ravens age, and Oh my gods is that Willow Schnee?! Using her semblance she rushed over and grasped her hands. "Holy Gods, I am like your biggest fan!" She bounced smiling up at her.

Willow ripped her hands away, stumbling back and grabbing at her head. "Where are we?! Who are you people?"

"Well, it seems" Ozpin rubs a foot against the dirt "We have all been teleported, the dirt is real."

Boisterous laughter fills the forest clearing, coming from all around Summer. She motions for Her team to close around Willow and the Faunus girl, surrounding the two they know arent hunters to protect them.

Billowing in the wind is a caped figure, skinny and tall, wearing a solid blue long-sleeved shirt and paling jeans, with his blue cape trailing behind him. Floating in the middle of the clearing above a fire pit with couches surrounding it, He motioned for everyone to sit. Noticing the Young hunter and huntresses ignoring his hand gesture the man frowns. He snapped his fingers and the entire group found itself on the couches, with team STRQ having one, The Faunus and Willow on another, and Ozpin and Glynda on the final one.

"WELCOME! I, A GOD ABOVE REPROACH, HAVE BROUGHT YOU ALL TO MY GLADE TO SEE THE BEYOND. THE INFINITE." With a flourish, the man billows his cape and a screen appears above the fire pit "I SHOW YOU THE FUTURE." Bowing for the quiet crowd, he smiles at them and waves to the screen "I SHALL LEAVE YOU TO SPEAK AMONG YOURSELVES AS IT PLAYS. I SHALL NEVER RETURN. WHEN IT IS DONE YOU WILL ALL BE TELEPORTED HOME. GOOD LUCK, AND MAKE A BETTER FUTURE THEN WHAT YOU HAVE."

Summer could see the man turn and walk into nothingness, then he was gone. She lunged for Qrow, wrapping him in a hug. "Thank the Gods you all are ok, that was so intense." Summer reaches over to hug Tai next. Before she could hug Raven, the sun seemed to dim and the screen light up.

The video starts with music in the background and the moon is shown while rose petals are gliding in front of it. A girl in a cloak is shown standing in front of a gravestone near a cliff with petals surrounding her as a female voice in the background sings, "Red like roses fills my dreams and brings me to the place you rest..."

"Look at that Sum, You get a Mini-Me in the future." Tai pats her back in mock sympathy "Hope you find home life fulfilling."

Summer shoves him away playfully "Shut up you dork, Maybe I still do missions, She looks old enough I could head out."

Giving her a look of sympathy, Qrow shakes his head "It's ok Short-stack, it's not like," Smirking at her "Your Old or something," The cry of Qrow that came from Summer was followed by a beating from his leader.

"Hmph, only a weakling would settle with a child, I thought you stronger than that Summer." Raven glared at Summer who stopped hitting Qrow to glare back.

The camera pans over the grave which reads "Summer Rose, thus kindly I scatter 1345-1372"

"Oh…" The breath left Summer, the joking cheer she had at having a daughter left her quickly. Oh, I die… Her smile turned to a grimace, shuddering as the emotion got to her. Not even a huntress yet and she already saw that her death would come young. Maybe she would take a year break that year. Definitely taking a short vacation and not dying.

Summer hugs her friends close before speaking "Headmaster, when I'm a licensed huntress, I'm taking that year off."

"I certainly think that can be allowed, Ms. Rose."

The girl walks away from the grave and into the forest behind her as the singing continues. "White is cold and always yearning, burdened by a royal test." The perspective changes to reveal a large pack of Beowolves. "Black the beast descends from shadows..."

"Yellow beauty burns..."

Three Beowolves attack as she disappears in a swish of rose petals, and the creatures crash to the ground. They look upwards to see her above them with the full moon shining behind her. "...gold."

Summer gawks at the girl on screen "She has the same semblance as me…" She reaches a hand out towards the screen. Tears bead in her eyes She's amazing...

While outlined by the moon's light, her cape swirling around her body, The girl reaches behind her in slow-motion, pulls out her weapon in rifle form, and fires a shot that blows a large part of a Beowolf's head out in a burst of smoke.

More Beowolves start to attack as she lands. She leaps over the first beast and shoots it in the back, and then, still in the air, blasts another one's side and gets into a position where she can fire at the third dead center. She rolls back and stands, unfolding Crescent Rose into its larger, and deadlier, scythe form.

"Woah She uses my weapon!" Qrow yelled surprised to see the small girl using a scythe and his school of combat. "Looks like I taught her what she knows." Qrow puffed up his chest in pride at what he was secretly hoping was his daughter.

One of the braver Beowolves dashes forward, but the girl merely spins, hooks its body in the curve of her blade, and fires the sniper section at speeds that sever the creature's body in half. Both halves land on the ground, and the rest of the pack charges.

Rotating the weapon, she unloads her spent bullet and drives the blade into the ground, firing from a single spot at several approaching monsters until one swipes at her feet, narrowly missing as she jumps up with Crescent Rose and blasts back, digging it into the ground again and swinging her body to land on it.

A Beowolf almost gets her with its claws, but she twists out of the way, fires at the monster in front of her to make both weapon and wielder spin, and kicks at the one behind her. She twirls the scythe and cuts down Beowolves from both sides, dodging another attack to hook a beast in and blast out at an approaching creature to kill both.

The girl leaps over two, goes in to dismember and cut down one, and catches another's neck in her blade, with her on the beast's back, before pulling the trigger and beheading it while flying upwards. Two Beowolves follow, but she shoots her way down and slices them up when she has to block from a wolf's swipe on the ground, which pushes her back and lets her see a large number of enemies left.

Ozpin sipped from his mug, a small smile gracing him at another aspiring hunter with talent. "She looks like she will be a wonderful huntress in the future, you raised a wonderful daughter Summer." Summer blushed at his words.

The music picks up and the girl uses her semblance to kill the Grimm so fast all that can be seen is a blur. She converts her scythe to a sickle-shape and spins her way through the mass, cutting up and down, left and right, leaving bullets, rose petals, and blackened body parts flying into the air.

Finally, the last Beowolf is killed, and she finishes by firing a blast that launches her into the sky, then lands in a pose with her scythe hanging behind her as Dust pellets rain from the sky.

The screen fades and then shows the silhouettes of team RWBY each in front of their respective letter and Ruby comes into full view. Her name under her letter, Ruby Rose.

"Ruby Rose…" Summer breathed out, gripping Tai and Qrow's hands tightly. She had kept her self-chosen last name's legacy going. She had named herself after the roses that would grow in the Patch Orphanage gardens. Knowing that she had died paled in comparison to knowing her daughter grew up strong and kept her last name instead of taking whoever the father was.

Rubbing his childhood friends back "Ya Sum, you have a great kid in the future." He said smiling, oddly proud himself but was scratching his head why.

Everyone else agreed that they would start the next one quickly. The screen lit up and started the next showing.
