Don't Push Me Away

Chapter 1: Hermione

It was 2:30 pm when I heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it" I yelled to my room mate. After the war Harry, Ron, Draco and me have become closer together. Harry didn't want me to be alone (I protested but he didn't budge) but him nor' Ron where able to room with me so I got stuck with Draco.

When I opened the door Harry was standing there a look of despair on his face. "Hermione...I'm so sorry.." He said his emerald green eyes sad and droopy. "I-What's wrong?" I asked urging him to go on. Harry put his hand in his pocket and took at a photo which he showed me. I took the photo in my hands and looked at it, there it was Ronald naked next to Lavender, and since it was a wizarding photo it moved and I saw Ronald having sex with her. My eyes widened in shock and my vision got blurry. "T-Thanks Harry" I managed, I looked up feeling my eyes water, Harry looked at me and mouthed a 'sorry' and gave my hand a squeeze, he gave me a small hug and walked away. I slammed the door shut locking it with my wand. I ran upstairs to my room, not wanting to disturb Draco, I put a silencing spell around my room and threw it (wand) on the floor. The rest of the day I spent crying and taking naps, I would wake up and cry all over again. I destroyed everything that reminded me of him and as I looked at the pictures I began to cry all over again.

How could he?, after everything we went threw, we were near death with each other, how could he just play me like that. How? I looked at my clock and saw it was now 6 pm, I spent 4 hours crying over him and still I knew it won't be over anytime soon. I grabbed my wand from the floor and with a quick transfiguration I was wearing my silk pj top and some silk shorts. I carefully placed my wand on my bed side table. and slipped into bed I looked up and started crying again and just like that I felt myself drift off.

- The Next Day, 1 pm-

"Mina, Wake up, There's someone here to see you" I heard a soft voice say. Draco I though, he had gotten the habit of calling me 'Mina" even though it doesn't match my name, still I never complained. I made an effort to get up and slowly walk to my bedroom door "Thanks Drake" I managed to mutter out. I Looked up and gave him a small nod and he nodded back. I started walking towards the front door and before i opened it I let out a huge sigh. As i opened the door a pair of heavy arms was around me.
"Mionie I'm Sorry" I heard the person say. Ronald you stupid git I thought as I shoved him off. "GET THE HELL OFF" I yelled "AFTER EVERYTHING WE WENT THROUGH YOU STILL WENT AHEAD AND CHEATED ON ME. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU, THIS IS THE LAST STRAW, FIRST OF ALL YOU ALWAYS MADE SURE TO MAKE ME FEEL LIKE CRAP, THEN YOU JUST LEAVE ME AND HARRY DURING THE WAR, NOW YOU CHEAT ON ME! RONALD I LOVED YOU ALRIGHT I ALWAYS DEFENDED YOU WHEN SOMEONE SAID SOMETHING MEAN TO YOU. FOR MERLIN'S SAKE I OBVIATED MY PARENTS FOR THIS AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO TO ME." I felt the anger I held all of yesterday leave me as I yelled at him. Ronald's face kept getting redder and redder. I was so relived to finally tell him off but that was ruined when Ronald pushed me, I felt myself fall and I winced in pain as my side hit the sharp glass table.
"YOU UNGRATEFUL BITCH I SAVED YOUR LIFE IF IT WASN'T FOR ME YOU WOULD BE DEAD" Ronald was red and had his fists started to clench. "NOBODY LIKED YOU UNTIL I DECIDED TO BE YOUR FRIEND" Suddenly he was hovering over me and he raised his hand as if to hit me. Not being able to do anything I felt myself flinch.

"DON'T TOUCH HER WEASEL" I heard Draco yell. As I lifted my self off to see, Ron backed away, carefully I stood up, my side aching. Draco who was much taller then Ron was right in front of his face and he said "get out" Ron sneered and rolled his eyes "What does this have to do with you" Ronald asked. He looked at me and scrunched up his face. I couldn't tell what was happening because I suddenly started to get dizzy, I grabbed the table and tried to straighten myself but I couldn't. Finally I looked up to see Draco making his way toward me, I walked towards him and he stopped not letting me get threw. I did my best to try and push him away put all he did was grab my wrist, I tried again only for him to tighten his grip. "Don't push me away Mina" He said softly, he let go of my arm and used his finger to lift my chin. His beautiful eyes were soft and full of concern, his beautiful gray eyes may have broke me because what I did next surprised me. I hugged Draco Malfoy.

Draco Pov:

My heart sank the moment she started to cry, when I lifted her chin to look at me her chocolate brown eyes where glistening with tears. I was about to speak when she hugged me, I was startled by this gesture but I hugged her back. In that moment I was able to feel her magic reaching for mine. I could feel her sadness and anger and it made me want to rip Ronald's head off. I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close, I could feel her small hand on my chest as she cried her heart to me. I lowered my head into her hair and took a deep breath, I could smell her rose shampoo and it was almost intoxicating. Using all my strength I lift Hermione up bridal style. Hermione pulled her head back and looked at me. As I carried her up stairs into my room I said to her "You know what, after you stop crying and learn that your a beautiful,smart young women I'm going to take you to the Library Of Congress so you can take as many books as you want." I carefully layed her down on my bed and kneeled down besides her, I held her hand and kissed her head softly.
"Draco thank you so much...I'm sorry" Hermione said looking at me. I smiled softly and shock my head. "There's nothing to be sorry for my love, I'll be down stairs if you need anything." I said standing up. I was almost at the door when I felt the urge to turn around. Hermione was standing up now, I looked at her confused . Out of nowhere she jumped on me pressing her soft lips on mine. Her thighs were wrapped around my waist and all most naturally my hand found a place under her bum.
Our kisses grew more urgent as Hermione wrapped her arms around my neck playing with my hair, I buried my free hand in her soft chocolate brown curls massaging her scalp. I could feel Hermione's soft lips on mine aching for my touch she used all her strength to pull me closer and I happily complied. Finally Hermione pulled away her eyes wide. "Oh merlin I'm sorry Draco, I-" she was now on her feet and no longer around me. "You don't know how long I've wanted to do that Granger" I said smirking. "And I know you think I'm hot so come on" Hermione rolled her eyes and said "I could just leave Malfoy" She had her hands on her hip and her eyes looking straight at me almost in a challenging way. I wrapped my arm around her waist "Your all mine baby girl, I the Slytherin Prince doesn't like sharing." I could almost feel the way she blushed and it made me feel so good knowing I made her feel this way.

"You know according to a History of Magic never once has there been peace between each house" Hermione said

"Really now?"

"Yes as a matter-of-fact the original founders of Hogwarts didn't get along"

"Hmm, well I guess we are making History"

I pulled her closer "Are we going to fast?" I asked a hint of nervousness in my voice,

"No, we're not, we've loved each other for years at this point I barley mind" she said softly into my chest.

In this point I new she could never push me away.
