C. C. went to Ashford Academy. Going to school was never an event, that she thought was very exciting or enjoyable. However, there were a few things, that she enjoyed. Above all else, she was glad she went to the school as Lelouch Lamperouge, her boyfriend and the love of her life.

Due to having autism, C. C. didn't exactly fit in. She usually avoided communicating with others and she was considered an anti-social weirdo, by a lot of her fellow classmates. Thankfully, Lelouch had a much more positive view of her. He thought she was the most amazing person, that he had ever seen and his heart treasured her more than any piece of gold. In return, C. C. felt the same way about Lelouch.

C. C. went to her locker and got the supplies she needed, for her next day of school. Her latest year of school was almost over, which she was glad about. After the week was over, C. C. only had one more year. She stood around, for a brief moment, while waiting for Lelouch to arrive.

A few seconds later, Lelouch pranced into the school. He danced around the hallway, while having an excited look on his face. C. C. was very glad, to see Lelouch be so gleeful and cheerful. Lelouch jumped to her and kissed her hand. C. C. said, "Greetings, Lelouch. You sure seem like an excited person, don't you?"

Lelouch replied, "You can say that again. I'm so glad this is my last week of school."

C. C. responded, "Indeed, it's a nice experience, to go months without school."

Lelouch smiled and said, "It won't be months, until I have to go back to school. After this week, I won't have any more school." Lelouch jumped around. He grabbed a pile of textbooks and used them as a stage, for him to dance on.

C. C. had a confused look on her face, while asking, "What are you talking about? You have another year of school, after this one. Well, that's what I had assumed."

Lelouch replied, "It's understandable, for you to assume that. After all, most of the other students thought I wouldn't pass."

C. C. responded, "I didn't know you were a senior."

Lelouch said, "I know I look too young, to be a senior. However, I am a year older than you. Before you came along, my life felt a little directionless. I had family and friends, but they had lost tolerance in me, because of how immature I acted and because I kept pulling pranks. Because of my carefree lifestyle, I wasn't putting much effort into my classwork. After I met you, I felt like I had to put more effort, into my life. Because of that, I've actually being doing my assignments."

C. C. replied, "I see. So, you were planning on not graduating?"

Lelouch casually answered, "More or less. The school was a fun place, to goof around at, so I wouldn't of minded another year, aside from the awful classwork."

C. C. tried to hide her sadness, but her disappointed expression gave her away. She said, "So, we're not going to see each other as much, during our next year of school?"

Lelouch answered, "I guess so." He could tell C. C. was a little sad, so he put his hand on her shoulder and said, "Don't worry. We'll see each other, plenty of times. You know you can always visit my home. In fact, I feel like we share the same home."

C. C. blushed and asked, "Why do you think that?"

Lelouch answered, "Because my home doesn't feel truly complete, unless you're in it." C. C. smiled at him.

A thought popped into Lelouch's head. It wasn't one of his smarter or more mature ideas, but he felt like sharing it. He said, "C. C., perhaps I could purposely flunk my last couple of tests. That way, I'd be with you, during your last year of school."

A part of C. C. wanted Lelouch to do that, but it was a selfish temptation, so she resisted it. She said, "Lelouch, don't do that. We both need to be mature, when it comes to this. You're the best part of my school days. In fact, you're the best part of my life." She blushed and said, "I can't believe I admitted that. That's super embarrassing."

Lelouch blushed back and replied, "Actually, it's super adorable."

C. C. blushed harder, while saying, "You need to put effort in, when it comes to school. You can't fail, just so you can spend another school year with me. It wouldn't be the right thing."

Lelouch sighed and replied, "I'm sorry, honey. It was probably a dumb thing to say, wasn't it?"

C. C. responded, "Maybe, but I'm flattered, that you'd consider suffering another year of school, just to comfort me."

Lelouch said, "Of course I would. You're the love of my life." Lelouch kissed C. C.

Diethard Ried, one of the teachers, walked by and saw the kiss, so he said, "Hold on there, Lelouch. You know you can't kiss at school. I should give you a detention, for your lack of maturity."

Lelouch replied, "You should also hold on, Mr. Ried. There's only a few more days of school left, so detentions can hardly impact me."

Diethard had a sly smile on his face, while responding, "Like you said, there's still a few days of school left. Because of that, I have a few more opportunities, to give you the punishments, that you deserve. You have a detention, after school."

After Diethard walked away, Lelouch said, "Diethard seems like a hip fella, but he never misses a chance, to give me a stupid punishment."

A thought popped into C. C.'s head. She used to be quiet and shy, when she had an idea. However, she had been gaining some confidence, thanks to Lelouch's support. Because of that, she said, "Lelouch, perhaps I could also get a detention, so we could spend your detention time together."

Lelouch replied, "Although I'd like that, that wouldn't be right. It wouldn't be fair to you, Diethard, or me."

C. C. responded, "Fair enough." She paused and said, "I guess we better get to class."

Lelouch replied, "Sadly, it's what we have to do. I love you."

C. C. responded, "Me too."

After school, Lelouch went to Diethard's classroom, for his detention. C. C. went into the hallway and talked to her friends, Kallen Stadtfeld and Shirley Fenette, while waiting for Lelouch's detention to be over. Kallen talked about her collection of Vincent Price horror films. Hearing Vincent Price's name made C. C. think of Mr. Price playing Egghead, in the 60s' Batman show. Kallen tried to be nice, but it was hard to tolerate all the egg puns. Shirley talked about how her swimming club was going. Thinking of water reminded C. C., of the 60s' Batman episode, where Batman and Joker had a surfing contest.

After Kallen and Shirley left, C. C. kept roaming around the hallway, while waiting for Lelouch to come. Lelouch's mother, Marianne, came into the school. C. C. and Marianne had never seen one another, until that moment. Marianne looked at C. C. and said, "Excuse me, young lady. I'm looking for my son, Lelouch Lamperouge."

C. C. felt a little uneasy and uncomfortable, about being around Lelouch's mom. She often got shy, when Lelouch offered to introduce his family. She tried to hide her nervous feelings, while saying, "Lelouch is in Mr. Ried's classroom, because he has a detention."

Marianne asked, "A detention? Oh my. This is hardly a graceful way, for him to end his last year of school. I know he's gotten plenty of detentions, but I thought he had gotten over that."

C. C. replied, "Please excuse me." C. C. walked to the vending machine, in order to avoid any awkward conversations.

Diethard stepped into the hallway, to grab any valuables or collectibles, that students left in the hallway. While grabbing a bunch of random things, he saw Marianne. He was impressed by her looks, so he smiled and said, "Greetings, guest. I'm Diethard Ried."

Marianne replied, "Ah, you're one of my son's teachers."

Diethard asked, "Who's your son?"

Marianne answered, "Lelouch Lamperouge."

Diethard replied, "Wow, you must live a hard life. I have a ton of sympathy, for anybody who's had to live with him."

Marianne responded, "Actually, he already moved out and has his own house."

Diethard replied, "In that case, you're a lucky mother." He paused and said, "So, are you married to anybody?"

Marianne smiled and said, "I sure am. I've been happily married, for nineteen years."

Diethard angrily growled. While walking away, he bumped into C. C. A sneaky thought popped into Diethard's head. Unlike Lelouch and C. C., who avoided their selfish temptations, Diethard took advantage of his selfish desires. He knew a way, to make Lelouch and C. C. uncomfortable, so he pointed to C. C. and looked at Marianne, while saying, "This is Lelouch's girlfriend, C. C. Lelouch got his detention, because he was kissing her." Diethard laughed, while returning to his classroom.

Marianne looked at C. C. and asked, "You're Lelouch's girlfriend?"

C. C. kept her head down, while saying, "I'm afraid so."

Marianne asked, "Afraid so? There's nothing to be scared about."

C. C. could feel her anxiety rising, while saying, "I should just go. I'd be really awkward and not say much."

Marianne replied, "Please wait, C. C. I know you have autism and I know that may make things a little difficult. However, you don't need to avoid me. I think you've been a wonderful influence, on my son's life."

C. C. looked guilty, while responding, "I'm afraid it's the other way around. Because of my autism, I'm very fragile, scared, and full of stress. Because of that, Lelouch has to go out of his way, to comfort me. He's the one, who's benefitting my life."

Marianne replied, "Believe me, you've been benefitting Lelouch's life. After you started dating him, he stopped arguing with his father and stopped trolling his teachers and classmates. He's been a much more responsible and happy person, which is thanks to you."

C. C. thought about the situation and asked, "Is it possible, that Lelouch and I help improve one another's lives?"

Marianne answered, "I assure you, that your question is the truth. So, has Lelouch mentioned me?"

C. C. answered, "Yes and it was all good things. However, he did complain a lot, when it came to his father."

Marianne replied, "That's to be expected. Lelouch has told me a lot about you. You two have gotten rather close, from what I've heard."

C. C. nervously responded, "Our relationship is moderately close."

Marianne said, "C. C., I want you to be honest, but most importantly, I want you to be comfortable and happy. You can share any fear you might have, with me. I won't gossip to a bunch of strangers or anything like that."

C. C. took a long pause, before working on her courage and saying, "Thank you, Mrs. Lamperouge. You're very friendly."

Marianne replied, "It's my pleasure. After all, you are my future daughter."

C. C. nervously blushed and asked, "What are you talking about?"

Marianne chuckled and replied, "My apologies, C. C. I often call you that, when talking to Lelouch, to make him flustered." C. C. and Marianne sat on a bench. C. C. wasn't usually comfortable, when it came to talking to new people. However, Marianne made C. C. more comfortable and less stressed, than other people did. Because of that, C. C. shared her feelings and her experiences with Lelouch.

Meanwhile, Lelouch was still in detention. Diethard often looked into the hallway, to spy on C. C. and Marianne. He had a smug smile on his face, because he figured Lelouch would be in an embarrassing predicament, from his girlfriend and mother being in the same place, at the same time. Lelouch looked at Diethard and asked, "Shouldn't the detention be over?"

Diethard answered, "I suppose you can go, but if you get out of the frying pan, you're going to go into the fryer."

Lelouch had a confused look on his face, while asking, "What do you mean?"

Diethard explained, "Your girlfriend and your mom are both at the school and they're talking to each other. Because of that, you can expect to be in a world of embarrassment, by the time you step into the hallway."

Lelouch frowned at Diethard and said, "I'm guessing you knew they were talking and you're excited, at the thought of me being humiliated."

Diethard had a smug smile on his face, while replying, "You could say that."

Lelouch walked out of the classroom and walked by the bench, that C. C. and Marianne were at. Lelouch looked at his mom and said, "Hi, Mom. What are you doing here?"

Marianne replied, "I just came by to see what time Charles and I are supposed to come here, on your graduation day."

Lelouch responded, "At noon. You could of just called and asked me that."

Marianne replied, "Yes, but I wanted to keep an eye on you and make sure you stay out of trouble, on your last days of school. Also, I wanted to meet your girlfriend. After all, it's about time I met my future daughter."

Lelouch looked flustered, while responding, "Mom, I've told you to not call her that!" Marianne chuckled, while C. C. tried to avoid blushing.

After Lelouch and C. C. finished talking to Marianne, they went to Lelouch's house. They lounged on the couch and cuddled under a Two-Face blanket, while watching 60s' Batman. Lelouch looked at C. C. and said, "You and Marianne seemed to get along."

C. C. replied, "Indeed we did. I was expecting to be scared, by her mere presence, but she's so inviting and friendly."

Lelouch said, "If I may ask, what did you talk about?"

C. C. said, "You were brought up, in our conversation."

Lelouch started feeling a bit uneasy, while saying, "She revealed a bunch of embarrassing things, about my childhood, didn't she?"

C. C. replied, "She started to, but I stopped her, because I knew it'd make you feel uncomfortable."

Lelouch felt relieved, while responding, "Thank you, C. C."

C. C. replied, "We talked about how the next year of school might feel a little lonely, since I'll be going to school and you won't be."

Lelouch took a long pause, because he had an idea roaming around his brain. He said, "I've thought about how lonely you'd be and believe me, I'd also be lonely. However, I think there's a way to save ourselves, from having a lonesome year."

C. C. asked, "What's your idea?"

Lelouch said, "You could move into my house."

C. C. raised her eyebrows, while feeling awfully surprised. She nervously said, "That's quite the offer. It's a very sweet and sentimental offer, but a very unusual one, considering how young we are and how we've only known one another, for eight months."

Lelouch held C. C.'s hand, while replying, "I know, but I also know you're the love of my life. I want to be with you, forever. For most of my life, I've been unsure, when it comes to most things. However, there's not a single doubt in my heart, that I'll always love you."

C. C. heavily blushed, while responding, "I hardly feel confident, when it comes to any opinion. However, there's two things, that I know for sure: Tony Jay's got to have money and I've got to have you." She and Lelouch kissed each other. She paused and said, "However, it might be too soon, for me to move in. It's hard to explain. I get excited, when thinking about it, but I also get scared."

Lelouch gently rubbed C. C.'s back, while saying, "Don't worry, honey. We're going to be okay. We'll talk more, about the possibility of moving in, when the right moment comes." He gave her another kiss, which brought down her anxiety.

A few days later, it was Lelouch's graduation day. The guests were outside and were sitting on chairs. The students were backstage and were waiting for the graduation to start. C. C. sat in a chair, that was next to Marianne. Charles was also there, but he was too busy, with trolling his internet friends, to pay attention to Lelouch's graduation.

Lelouch was wearing a green graduation costume. He felt a little silly, while wearing it. Diethard walked by Lelouch and said, "Don't think you're done, with having to deal with me. If you cause any trouble, during graduation, I'll have you stay and serve another detention."

Lelouch frowned at Diethard and replied, "Give me a break, news-boy. I'm done with your classes, so you can't give me any detentions. What's your problem?"

Diethard sighed and responded, "I'm a bit envious of you, Lelouch."

Lelouch had a confused look on his face, while asking, "What are you talking about?"

Diethard explained, "At your young age, you already have the love of your life, your own home, your own car, and other stuff. As for me, I'm just waiting for the days, where I can return to my dream job, of being a broadcaster."

Lelouch gave Diethard a pat on the back and replied, "I think you can return to broadcasting, if you keep working hard and don't lose your optimism."

Diethard smiled and responded, "Thank you, Lelouch. You know what? I don't think I'll be giving you a detention, ever again." Lelouch and Diethard high-fived each other.

Several minutes later, Lelouch got onstage. C. C. and Marianne clapped, while Charles napped on the ground.

Marianne looked at C. C. and noticed she looked depressed. After Lelouch received his diploma, Marianne said, "C. C., please take a walk with me. We need to have a little girl-talk."

C. C. nervously replied, "Okay."

C. C. and Marianne walked a short distance away, while Marianne asked, "What's going on?"

C. C. avoided eye-contact, while answering, "It's hardly worth talking about. Don't worry about it."

Marianne folded her arms and replied, "Come on, C. C. Let your honest emotions come out."

C. C. took a long pause, before saying, "Okay then. I'm sorry for trying to hide my feelings, Marianne." She took another pause, before saying, "You see, Lelouch made an offer, for me to move into his house. That suggestion brought me a lot of excitement and fear. Because of how scared I was, I turned down his offer. I thought I'd end my awkward feelings, by rejecting the offer, but instead, I feel sad."

Marianne asked, "Why would you be scared, about moving-in with Lelouch? After all, you two are in love."

C. C. said, "I could never deny that, but we're so young."

Marianne gently replied, "You'd just be living under the same roof. It's not like you're tying the knot, yet."

C. C. put her hand on her forehead, while saying, "I don't know what to do. I'm being consumed, by both fear and happiness."

Marianne replied, "C. C., let me ask you a simple question, that'll sort things out: Do you want to live with Lelouch?"

C. C. shyly answered, "Yes."

Marianne replied, "Then you should."

C. C. nervously responded, "But I'm scared."

Marianne said, "There's no reason, that you should be scared. You can't hide the truth. Lelouch knows he's the love of your life and you both know you'll always love one another. Instead of being afraid of the truth, you should embrace what you want in life. Lelouch already has a special place for you, in his heart. I believe he'll hold a special place for you, in his home."

After Lelouch's graduation was over, Lelouch walked to C. C. and Marianne. After they celebrated Lelouch's success, Marianne whispered to Lelouch, "Ask C. C. to move in with you."

Lelouch whispered back, "I tried that, a few days ago."

Marianne whispered, "Ask her again. I believe she's ready to admit her true answer."

Lelouch looked at C. C. and gently said, "C. C., will you move in with me?"

C. C. screamed, "Yes!" She covered her face, because she was blushing so hard.

Lelouch gave her a big hug and said, "This is the best graduation present, that I could ever ask for. In fact, it's one of the best presents, in general."

C. C. kept blushing, while replying, "You're being too cute."

Lelouch asked, "What made you change your mind?"

C. C. shyly shook, while saying, "I always wanted to move into you, but I was too scared, until Marianne gave me the courage, that I needed."

Lelouch looked at Marianne and said, "Thank you, Mom."

Marianne smiled and said, "No problem, Lelouch and future daughter."

Lelouch helped C. C. move some of her stuff, to his house. They planned on moving the rest of the stuff, into Lelouch's house, during the Summer. Lelouch looked at C. C. and said, "I'm so excited, about you moving in, that my graduation seems like a secondary victory."

C. C. replied, "I've always liked your house. It's thrilling, that I'll get to stay here, forever."

Lelouch and C. C. cuddled on the couch, while watching a Tony Jay film. Lelouch said, "I love you, more than anything."

C. C. replied, "I feel the same way about you, darling."

A few hours later, Lelouch got ready for bed, while C. C. rested on the couch. Lelouch gave C. C. a goodnight kiss and said, "Have a wonderful evening, my love."

C. C. replied, "You too, sweetheart." C. C. started resting her eyes, while thinking about how lucky she was. She used to be afraid of true love, but she realized that love wasn't a dreadful curse. It was the most beautiful word and Lelouch was the love of her life, the only true love of her life.
