Mystery POV
Silence. Dark. Fear. That was all I could feel as I lay there. I tried to move, nothing. I tried to open my eyes, no luck. I tried to scream, again to no avail. I sat there for what felt like hours, but for all I knew, It may have been seconds, but finally, I woke up. Looking around, I saw a beach, clear blue water, and birds, birds that until now I thought to be extinct…. Dodo Birds?
"Well, this is just great, " I said, putting as much sarcasm as I could into my words.
"To be honest, you sound rather optimistic about the situation." A voice behind me said,
I whipped around to see a geeky looking teen, behind him a larger teen was sitting on what I know to be Parasaurolophus. I gaped at the extinct beast, but then remembered I had company. I looked back at the smaller teen. "How so? " I questioned,
"Well, um, " he stammered blushing,
"When my little buddy, Cody here first spawned he screamed and tried to hide in a bush." The larger teen said happily.
"Gee thanks, Owen, " Cody said, "Well anyway, what's your name, "
I looked at them before deciding that I could trust them. "My name is Noah, " I stated, not sure how I knew that that's all I knew, a name.
"Well anyway, welcome to the Island Noah," Cody said.
I had so many questions to ask my new friends, but just then a raptor jumped out from behind me and ripped me to pieces. I screamed in pain, but before I died I heard Cody shout, "South Zone 2!"
Mystery POV
I sat there, in the bushes watching intently, being without a tribe, I had no idea what to do. I had been on the Island for nearly a week and had learned to eavesdrop and steal. Looking at the three people on the beach I had a feeling they would accept me. I was well trained and really knew how to steal. I was sick of being a loner. I started to come out of my hiding space, just then a raptor jumped out and tore the new guy to shreds, ooh tough first day. I stepped out of the bushes and walked up to Cody, who seemed to be their leader. He had his back turned to me, as he harvested the raptor.
"Damn, Utahraptors, " I heard him mutter,
"Um, hi, " I said. He was startled and jumped almost three feet into the air.
"Who are y…" He stopped when he saw me, "You, you are Gwen!"
"You know me?" I asked slightly amused, " That's cool, I've known about you too, " I said "Cody the Conqueror of the South" She smiled at his ridiculous nickname
"I know my name is stupid, " Cody said, then he added, "And you, you are Gwen the swift you have been here a week and already reached fame as a master on the Island." Gwen smiled at this, I didn't want to admit it, but I was kind of, well attracted to Cody. He was famous, even though he owned the weakest land, he still was in an alpha tribe, he was kind, generous, and didn't have nearly as many enemies as I did.
"So I was wondering…" I started before hearing a blood-curdling scream.
"WHAT THe HeLLLLLLLLL…" Noah fell headfirst into the sand just a few feet to the left of me. Noah stood up quickly and said "I'm not dead!" he then saw me " Who are you?" he asked,
"Gwen, " I replied, I already didn't like Noah's tone, he sounded like one of those stuck up brats who think they are better than everyone else,
"Um, buddies?" Owen yelled we all looked his way,
"Shit, it's the swamp, " Cody said pulling out a longneck, I pulled out my crossbow, (I got it from the swamp tribes) I notched a poisoned arrow, "Why are you fighting with tranqs, " Cody asked,
"If they are asleep they are easier to kill, " with that I shot a tall muscular Latino man in the head off of a Sarcosuchus he fell to the ground asleep, the battle had begun.
Cody's POV
I loved everything about Gwen, the way she looked, the way she smelled, the way she shot assholes with stupid names, like Alejandro in the face, Gwen was simply amazing.
Noah's POV
Dying hurt. I saw a huge map before me. "I really hate all of this," I said to myself, I was confused, hurting, and I thought I was dead. I couldn't get that luxury. I looked upon the map, different points were on the map, all labeled. North, East, South, and West, then they each had numbers, one, two, and three. "What the hell is this place?" I said to myself, with that I said "South 2," remembering what Cody said to me, as soon as it left my lips I started falling, faster and faster screaming until I hit the ground with a thud. I got up quickly and was surprised to find that not only was I alive, I felt no pain at all. Then I noticed the girl standing next to Cody, "Who are you?" I asked.
"Gwen," the girl replied, I didn't like Gwen, she seemed like she was only in it for herself,
"Um, buddies?" Owen said, as a bullet whizzed by my head, I screamed and ducked, Cody took out a scoped rifle while cursing about the swamp tribes, and Gwen pulled out a crossbow with what appeared to be narcotic tipped arrows. Owen pulled out two long machetes. I watched who I thought to be the leader of the swamp come forward. He was tall and muscular, with a Latino look. He started to charge at us but the arrow from Gwen's crossbow found its home. Directly in his Spanish forehead. He fell to the ground knocked unconscious. The rest of his army came forward. A strong-looking girl threw a metal spear straight for me. I dived out of the way just in time, the spear stuck into the ground next to me, I grabbed it not sure what to do with it at all. I knew in my gut I wasn't a fighter, I felt helpless as the battle raged around me.
Alejandro POV
I rode proudly on my crocodile into battle. I saw the enemy, we doubled them easily. By far this was going to be an easy victory, once we took our victory for Queen Heather of the North, she would take me as her husband. How she resisted me this long, well it is impressive. My gorgeous face should woo any lady on the Island. I rode straight into battle. Only to fall short when an arrow struck me in the head. I could feel the poison doing its work. I fell hard upon the ground and the darkness consumed me.
Mystery POV
I threw the spear at the little dweebs head. I knew he was a newbie by the way he had that shocked expression. He jumped out of the way. I would have thrown another but I heard a horn in the distance. I recognized it immediately. I looked around frantically for Alejandro the siege leader. I saw his body on the ground. "Shit," I said quietly then I yelled to the army "Fall back!" Just then a grenade fell at my feet I swore again as it exploded killing me on the spot."
Mystery POV
While on patrol I saw a battle raging on it was like GOSH! I quickly radioed back to base. "The South is under attack! They need reinforcements like GOSH" I hung up and waited. I saw the pteranodons flying towards the battle. I took out my horn and blew. The riders started dropping grenades off of their majestic mounts. The Swamp was quickly overcome. It was awesome, like completely awesome, like GOSH!
Cody's POV
We were losing the battle, we were outnumbered two to one, and they had some of the best fighters in all the land, Eva the strong, Alejandro the snake, they even had Izzy the insane, but none were as terrifying, as the woman standing on the cliff's edge, she just sat there, smiling, it was Heather the ice queen. When I heard the horns I knew we were saved. I saw Harold the skilled standing on the ledge, arms raised as riders flew over the battlefield dropping grenades blowing the enemy to pieces. I cheered, as the Swamp retreated.
Noah's POV
What the freaking hell is this place, did I die? Am I in hell, hell full of skinny guys that are somehow shitting action heroes?
A/N Please tell me what you think. Like I said this was my first fanfic, so please tell me how it was. I loved writing it, please tell me if you think Cody and Gwen should be a couple or not, I always thought they would be a good pairing, but it never happened in the show. So, I will be adding another chapter so check in soon. This Fanfiction will be shorter than most. My goal is 20,000 words. I don't know if I'll make it or not, but for now, until next time.
