Seven year old Harry Potter is hiding from his cousin and his gang in a nearly abandoned park when he was approached by identical twins with flaming red hair and freckles. Harry looked up in shock. Dudley and his gang had always made sure no one talked to him, or be friends with him.

He ended up talking with them and the twins had asked him if he wanted to be friends and liked pranks.

Harry nodded and the twins looked at each other and grins broke out on their faces and started recounting the pranks they pulled on their brothers.

- four years later -

Harry was at king's cross station at platform nine and 3/4. he had just went looking for an empty compartment when he suddenly came across two familiar faces.

"Fred, George!" Harry said shocked

Fred and George looked at Harry in shock before finally asking "You're a wizard?"

"I could ask you the same thing"

Harry and the twins grinned at each other.

"Harry you sitting with us in our compartment?" Fred asked

"sure"

"Harry, meet our friend Lee Jordan"

Harry shook Lee's hand "nice to meet you I'm Harry Potter."

Fred, George and Lee's jaw dropped and looked at his forehead

"I didn't know i was a wizard until Hagrid brought me my hogwarts letter and told me."

"It doesn't matter to us if you're famous or not you're still our friend." Fred said

They all sat down and started talking about pranks they could pull at hogwarts and told more about the pranks they had pulled at school.

- time skip -

When the train pulled into hogsmeade Harry went with the other first years onto the boats.

When they arrived at the castle they followed professor McGonagall into the great hall. On a stool was an old hat that suddenly began to sing.

When it was finished McGonagall started the sorting

"When i call your name you will come up here and try the hat on to be sorted

"Abbott, Hannah

"HUFFLEPUFF"

"Bones, Susan"

"HUFFLEPUFF"

"Boot, Terry"

"RAVENCLAW"

"Granger, Hermione"

"GRYFFINDOR"

"Malfoy, Draco

"SLYTHERIN"

"Potter, Harry"

Suddenly the hall went completely silent as he stepped forward before everyone started whispering.

"Potter, did she say?"

"the Harry Potter?"

as soon as the hat touched his head he heard a voice talking

difficult, very difficult. plenty of courage i see not a bad mind either. but you are afraid to be separated from your friends. The weasley twins i see.better be "GRYFFINDOR"

The entire Gryffindor table broke into applaus as the twins yelled 'we got potter we got potter'

When he got at the Gryffindor table people started clapping him on the back as he took his usual spot between Fred and George. People who knew them were aware of that.

"First i'd like to say to our new students welcome! for our older students welcome back" and with that the headmaster sat back down.

Dumbledore stood up and the hall went silent.

"I have a few start of term notices. first years should note that the forest in the grounds is forbidden to all students. and a few of our older students would do well to remember that as well" with this he looked in the direction of the weasley twins.

"also remember that there is no magic to be used in the hallways"

After the feast he and the other Gryffindor first years followed Percy to the Gryffindor common room.
