Chapter 1: Prince Zen and Princess Shiriyuki
"I ,King Izana give my consent to Prince Zen of Wisteria and Shiriyuki of Tanbarun to be married. "Prince Zen do you take Shiriyuki of Tanbarun to be your
wife in times of strife and happiness", "I do Lord Brother" Zen answered eagerly. "Shiriyuki do you take Prince Zen to be your husband in times of strife and
happiness," "I do King Izana" Shiriyuki stated loudly. "Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife" Izana spoke powerfully as his
voice reverberated across the room. Everyone clapped Mitsuhide, Kiki, Garack, Ryu, and all of their other friends they had made over the years applauded.
Zen took Shiriyuki in his arms and kissed her long but softly. They had been waiting for this time for 4 years and now they could become true lovers. Even
though Shiriyuki was given a princess title, she would still continue her work as a court herbalist. If she was needed for any decisions concerning the kingdom
made by her and Zen, then she would leaver her work to the other herbalists. "I will personally congratulate the new couple" Izana stated, causing Zen and
Shiriyuki to look at him surprised. Zen did not like the look he saw in his older brother's eyes, Izana led them to his quarters and looked at the both of them.
"Zen and Shiriyuki, now that you are married, are you prepared to balance your duities" Izana asked looking more directly at Shiriyuki. Zen was about to say
something until Shiriyuki spoke up. "King Izana, I am prepared to balance my duties at court herbalist and as Princess, with Zen at my side, I know that we
can weather the storm" Shiriyuki stated boldly hoping that Izana would hear the conviction in her voice. Zen couldn't help but notice that she used words that
he had told her, years ago when he first confessed his love for her. Izana just smiled and dismissed them, Zen however noticed his brother's cold look in his
eyes. Zen spoke to Shiriyuki, Don't let what my brother said get to you, he just wants to make sure that you understand the severity of your position". Zen
informed his new wife. "I do Zen, I know its going to be a challenge to balance my responsibilities, but I have you Zen, you will be my rock, we can do
anything together" Shiriyuki stated grabbing her husbands hands. Zen smiled and kissed his wife "I will be by your side now and forever" he said against her
lips. Zen picked her up and carried her to what is now their room, "I'm going to show you how much I truly love you Shiriyuki" Zen said to her. Shiriyuki
blushed but welcomed the thought of her first night with her husband.
