A/N: Hi everyone! Thank you for giving this story a chance! It's a long read but I promise you'll like it (I hope haha), because the end pretty much explains why I made it a long chapter. Just a few disclaimers, I love pink hair, I just wanted to emphasized how weird Lucy was feeling. This is a NALU and this is a story about kingdoms and magic. To my old readers, Im sorry if I haven't updated my other stories, those were unplanned and was just in the moment inspiration, this one's different. This has a full outline that I will follow as I write, it already even has an ending hihi I'm so excited!

Anyway enjoy reading! and I'd like to hear your thoughts; grammar mistakes, constructive criticisms, and literally anything that you found good or bad in the first chapter!

She was in an odd-looking room, with high and grand ceilings. She looked around more and tried to think how in the world she got there, because as far as she knows this was definitely not her room. There was a king-sized bed right in the middle of the grand space, the luxurious looking tiled floor had gold embedded on its crevices. She turned to her right and there it was, an opened balcony with the wind blowing the curtains, showing off the bright full moon above.

The room seems like it was made for royalty, what made it odd to her though was the dragon like markings on the crown moldings around the room, not only that but it feels like the dragon markings were made to be there. There was a huge mirror near to where a lightly lit hallway was leading to, what she can guessed the way to a bathroom or a closet. Her reflection was seen through the mirror, and what she saw startled the living daylights out of her.

What in the freaking world was she wearing?!

There she stood in what looks like a very skimpy nightgown, it fell right before her knees and it was really see through, showing off her bountiful breasts — which she does not like at all — her hair down in waves and her face practically glowing! Which in another time she would adore, but not in a time like this and especially not in a place like this! She was in a strange room, looking like she was ready to have sex with the owner of the said room. Suddenly she heard a creaking noise, she turned around slowly and there she sees a man — well what a man's silhouette looks like at least. He was well clothed in fine robes, colored in red and gold. His face was not seen at all nor his hair, just the shadow of his form and oddly his clothes.

"Still awake my love?"

Her eyes widened at his endearment, who the hell was this guy?! She was really starting to be creeped out by what was happening. The guy moved to go near her, she made a move to step back, but her body refused the action. It's like she was not in control of her own body. He moved to stand in front of her and went to touch her skin, as he does so he leaves her a trail of her own goosebumps flaring up. She was feeling hot all over and desire was crawling in her skin, which the man in front of her unknowingly chuckled and she was sure there's a smug looking grin plastered somewhere in that face of his.

"Mine."

Her eyes shot open just as the rest of her upper body, she was heaving and sweating in bed. She blinked a couple of times before she groaned out of frustration and threw her head on the pillow next to her. As she beat up her wonderful beddings, she was deep in thought as she recalls the dream she just literally woke up from.

Is she going crazy?

She really couldn't tell anymore after having the same dream for the third night in a row now, but something was definitely different from this one — the dragon markings. This dream was so vivid, that she can draw the scene so precisely out of her own memory.

"God, I am going crazy..."

She let out a deep sigh as she stood up and went to ready herself for the day, after all she needed to go to school and visit her father after class. Her father was really anxious of seeing her after weeks of not showing up for weekend dinners, she really felt like the most horrible daughter ever, but she couldn't help it. It was the upcoming midterms and she had a lot of plates to finish. Just as she got out of the shower and went to change, her phone rang.

She gave a confused look as it was early in the morning for someone to call her, and plus it's not like she has a boyfriend nor lots of friends at that. Now that she thought about it, she really doesn't have friends at all. She didn't know why but she just doesn't vibe well with other people from her class. She shrugged off her thought and went to get her phone off from the night table, that she has next to her bed. She looked at the name of the caller before answering.

"Mrs. Spetto! Good morning, why are you calling me so early in the morning? Is it Papa?" Lucy put her phone between her ear and her shoulder and tried to balance it as she dresses up. She wore some light washed jeans and went away for a moment from her phone and quickly pulled over her knitted sweater.

"Good morning dear! No, Sir. Jude is quite alright, I or rather he wanted me to ask you if you are coming to the estate later?"

"Yes, yes, I am not backing out on my word please tell him that. Is that all Mrs. Spetto?" Lucy chuckled lightly, her father really was something, albeit he was not like this before — specifically after her mother died — but he changed and made to atone for his mistakes and for the bond he has with his daughter. Now fixing her bag, her panels, pencils, stencils, all that art materials.

"That is all Lucy dear, now take care of yourself and for heaven's sake child eat your lunch!" She gave out a hearty laugh as she replied her agreement and her goodbyes to her housekeeper. She moved to quickly grab her stuff and check herself out in the vanity mirror she has in her study. Her hair was up in a high side pony and she was wearing her mother's necklace — a small golden key with the water bearer's sign on it.

She hurried off to her first class, her university was not that far from where she currently lives. Just as the first bell rang, she was just on time as her professor. Her professor started off reminding them of their midterm project, which was for them to design a sustainable building that consists of a small home, and later on for their finals to build a 3D model of it. Lucy sighed just thinking about them, initially she knew when she took up this major it was really going to be like this, but honestly this was far from her passion.

Sure, she loved drawing and she had a talent with it, but what she really wanted to do was write. She was not going to be shy about it, she was one hell of a writer. As told from her previous elective writing classes, her professors there commended her writing and how she had different perspectives that helps integrate the plots she created. Pursuing a major in Architecture was all fine and dandy, but she was doing it for her father.

He didn't force her at all but with the stress that he has lately with handling their business, which was construction now, what with the last failed venture he had tackled on, Lucy wanted to help ease her father's burden. Thus, the suffering of forced drawing and struggles of finishing the mountains of plates that are due on the same freaking time.

After two classes she had a three-hour break before the next one, so she headed to the library to do some more designs. She had this particular design that she was finishing, she opened her huge sketchbook and she started drawing on the room that she previously had drawn before. Stroke after stroke of her pencil for what felt like hours — but when she checked her phone for the time it had only been half an hour — she was slowly starting to feel drowsy. She tried shrugging off the sleep in her eyes, but it did not work, so she put down her pencil and laid down her head on the table, after all it didn't hurt getting a power nap.

She was standing in a huge and grand looking foyer, with beautifully tiled floors and golden embellishments on it. As she looked down though she noticed her clothing, it shocked her with how — for the better word — exotic it looks. She was wearing a red cross over shoulder top, that held her breasts in a bandeau fashion, leaving her stomach bare and a skirt teasing the lines of her hipbones ending just below her knees.

Her arms were not bare, for just in her upper arms was two identical golden cuffs and on both of her wrists were golden bangles. What startled her to the core and literally made her insides shake was the mark on her stomach, just below her naval to the right of it was a dragon like tattoo.

"What the—!"

She heard herself voiced out as she stared at the mark on her skin, she tried to touch it but was startled with the shiver it brought to her spine. A noise stopped her sentence and she immediately looked up from her skin. There he stood, the man she just dreamed about the previous night. He was wearing regal clothing, that matched hers in tones of red and gold. What was even more fascinating was, she can see most of his features now, albeit it was still blurry, but the color of his eyes was evident.

The olive-green slants that seems to stare at her inner being and shake it up at the same time. Her eyes continued its exploration and it reached his hair — pink hair. Good heavens she was going crazy, this guy has pink hair! Who in the world would turn their hair pink of all colors! She loves the color pink but not to an extent that she'll like in another guy! He went near her and just as he did, she stepped back, now her body allowed her to unlike the other dream, thank the Gods above!

"W-ho, are you?"

The man stopped his advances and looked like he was staring at her, trying to figure her out. She just stared at his form and did not move anymore; this was just getting more weirder than the usual. In what seems like a long stare off, which Lucy is starting to really get annoyed of, she was about to take action but then he spoke

"Lucy—"

She woke up with a gasp, startling the girl next to her. Her eyes widened and went to look around her surroundings, trying to decipher if she was still dreaming. After realizing that she was in the library and she had scared off the girl beside her she said her apologies.

Lucy sighed and went to massage her scalp, these dreams were really starting to take its toll on her, plus they were getting out of hand. It was one thing during her nightly sleeps, but now it was starting to conquer her power naps! She went to look at her phone for the time and when she realized what time it was, she panicked.

"That was two hours?!"

Her day eventually ended with the same routine classes, and with the same people who wanted to hang out with her, but she politely declined. She went off to her father's estate, not surprised with the car and driver waiting for her outside her university's building, she went inside the car quickly as to not delight anyone with more rumors about her. She was a private person and she wanted it to stay that way, she knew of the growing rumor mill that her fellow students were assuming about her. Soon the car pulled over the estate, it was a surprise how her Father salvaged the estate.

She was immediately greeted by the house workers they had, she greeted them with kind and enthusiastic gestures, after all she grew up with all of them. She went to her room to take a wonderful soothing bath, since she just found out her Father was just about to go home thus having time.

She went to the bathroom that was solely connected to her bedroom, she was immediately met by floor to ceiling mirrors having the illusion of a bigger bathroom, not that it needed it anyway. The bathroom was another bedroom itself, right in the middle of it was a circular bathtub and to the right of it, was a huge shower stall with a rainfall type of shower head.

She went to take off her jeans, relieved that it was off of her skin, next was removing her top. Just as it was off of her head and was placed in the basket next to where she was standing, she gave out a scream.

"OH MY GOD!"

Lucy wide eyed and taken back, stared at herself in the mirror in front of her. She stood with just her underwear on, and across from her there she sees the dragon mark. Frantically she was panicking inside and out, this was creeping the living daylights out of her.

"oh god... oh god, oh god! What in the world is that doing there?!"

She stared at it for a long time, the dragon mark was just below her naval to the right of her, just above her hipbone. It was in a black and red color, it was medium sized as to not cover her whole stomach, but it was evidently seen if she was bare. It looks like it was sleeping, she went to touch it but suddenly gasped, did it just moved? Hell's above it freaking moved!

"What the hell just happened?!"

She heard some knocking from her opened bathroom door, and that took her out from her staring. She was shaking, as she quickly went out of her bathroom and paced in front of it as she waited for the person to speak whoever it was at the door.

"Lucy dear? Your Father just arrived, and he said he'd like for you two to have your supper soon."

"Ah yes, Mrs. Spetto. Tell him I'll just change my clothes and I'll be right down with him." Lucy still pacing as she replied to her housekeeper

"Alright dear."

She ran back immediately to her bathroom and stopped just before the mirror, she shook her head and said to herself "Okay Lucy, maybe it was just an eye trick, yeah... Just a moment delusion..."

With that thought in mind she slowly showed herself to her mirror, and she groaned and banged her head on the mirror as soon as she sees the dragon mark. There were a million thoughts running through her head right now. She stared at the mark on her skin while her head was still on the mirror, this whole thing felt unreal, but the fact stays that this thing, was on her skin and apparently lives to creep the hell out of her.

She straightened out and got an idea, she went to the sink where there was also a mirror and went to scrub the mark off. Just as the soap touched the mark and she started to rub it in, her whole body shivered, and she had accidentally let go of the soap "What the—?"

Shocked at what she felt she again stared at the mirror next to the sink, the full length one. The dragon mark sat there and wiggled ever so slightly; eyes wide Lucy trembled to touch it.

This was unbelievable really; she just couldn't understand what she was seeing. So apparently the mark can move, and it most certainly will not go away soon.

"Okay, Lucy get it together, Papa's waiting and we'll just figure this out later, yeah..."

She quickly put on some tank top and a pajama pants, she was at her home after all, no need to dress up. She went to have another quick look at the mark on her stomach, wishfully thinking it might have gone away, but that thought shattered when she saw it again.

It was there teasing her, as it happily sleeps on her hip. She gave it a frustrating look as she stomped out of her bathroom and to the hallway. She eventually reached the dining area of the huge mansion and saw her father already seated.

"Good evening, Papa." Lucy greeted her father as she sat down to his right, he was seated at the head of the table as usual.

"Hello, Daughter. It is a good thing that I have finally coaxed you out of your den, you haven't been home for weeks now." She gave out a small chuckle at his teasing tone, she knew that this was his way of telling her that he had missed her dearly, her father was just too proud at times.

"I missed you too, Papa."

They had a wonderful dinner as they both caught up with each other's lives, both had talked about several things such as; her classes, politics, and the business. Lucy at most was trying to ease herself up, but she was really getting antsy with her situation. A couple of times she had tried bringing up her weird dreams, but she just didn't have the heart to burden her father anymore.

Also, she had wanted to figure these events herself first, before she shares it with him, knowing him he'll just worry and do everything that he can to fix it. Eventually their dinner finished, and her father had told her that he will be in his study should she ever need him. She informed him that she had wanted to take a nightly stroll around her mother's garden.

"Okay, just don't go deeper to the forest at night."

Lucy gave her reply as she waved at him, she was already outside and went to her mother's garden, it was also where she was buried. The garden was not too far from the estate mansion, but it definitely leads to the forest. She had no worries as she had explored practically the whole entirety of her father's estate when she was young. She reached her mother's garden; it was beautiful really.

There were all types of plants and flowers there, some her mother grew herself, some were taken care of by their gardener. She went to the huge angel like statue on the corner, where there were abundant of flowers laid beside it. It was her mother, she cleaned off some of the dried leaves that have fallen off from the gigantic tree behind it, once done she spoke to her.

"Hi Mama, I'm sorry I haven't visited you lately, I've been really busy." Lucy started off "You know, Papa's been really good, I noticed that he's tired a lot now. I think he really misses you badly, Mama."

She started thinking of the bizarre happenings lately and wanted to tell her that "Mama, things had been really weird lately — huh?"

Lucy suddenly stopped talking, as she saw something glinting beyond the trees behind her mother's statue. Her brows furrowed in confusion; she didn't know why but she had a strong urge to look for it. The next thing she knew, her feet were leading her to the vast forest. The glinting was still there, as she follows it the farther it goes away. Her feet directed her to the thing that was glinting above her, her eyes squinting to see what it was.

They have passed what felt like dozens of trees when finally, it stopped, the glinting was still there but it had stopped moving. Lucy carefully walked to where it currently was, her head craning to observe keenly at what that thing was. She doesn't even know why she wanted to find out, but she was intrigued, and she just has this strong urge to know.

She continued to where it was glinting, near a tall sycamore tree, hanging close to the length of its trunk and leaves. She was drawing close to where it was, she just needed to be a little closer. Her feet ventured on and just as it moved to step forward, it had snapped a twig that had fallen on one of the branches and the glint had moved. It showed itself and there Lucy saw a cat, and just as she sagged her shoulders she stiffened and with another whip of her head she screamed

"A-A FLYING CAT?!"

It startled both her and the flying cat as Lucy screamed, both had screamed and the cat went falling down her face, as paws met the valleys of her cheeks Lucy fell to the ground head first hitting a particularly hard rock and she had immediately blacked out.

She groaned as she slowly opens her eyes, her vision took some time to steady but once it did it had met with the night sky above, with the sycamore leaves decorating it. She slowly sat herself up as she felt around her head, she gave a wince as she felt a small bump on it "Ow! What in hell's world just happened?"

Lucy looked around and she noticed that she was still at the same place, but oddly enough it did not feel like it was the same forest she had walked on. She steadied herself on her feet and went to go back, but as she turned around, she was immediately confused what route she should take. She groaned in frustration but decided to take the route where there was a path of light.

She clearly had overestimated herself with this one, years of exploring the estate and this part she had forgotten. She walked as quickly as she can, and she eventually found an open path. She ran to it immediately and got a moment of relief, but as she turned to look around, her form stilled yet again.

"That was definitely not there..." Lucy murmured as she panted, her wide eyes stared at the scene before her. There stood a huge Palace, with its fine architecture. In another day she would have commended on how beautiful it was, but this was not the damned time! She internally panicked as she scanned the place she was in; she was on a hill overlooking the Palace and the town or what can be called a capital.

There were fire lit torches surrounding it, and from where she was, she could see what looks like armed men. To top it all off, like the flying cat wasn't enough, there was a humongous black dragon flying around the perimeter of the palace. Lucy trembling, quickly hid on the bushes next to her as she muttered to herself

"Oh god, oh god, oh god! Okay, the only logical reasoning to this is that, I'm dreaming! Yeah! I'm dreaming! I did knock my head out—"

Lucy stopped her mutterings when she heard a couple of feet, okay not a couple like a hoard of feet coming her way. She leaned down some more to hide herself, after all she was in an unknown territory. She watched from the bushes; armed men looked like they were scouting around. They were in full gear armored suits, with spears as there weapon.

Lucy finds that quite odd as most guards usually use swords or guns now, oh for God's sake she was having a lot of odd things happening to her lately so she shouldn't find this weird anymore. For some reason Lucy did not feel any fear creep into her bones, in fact she even wanted to show herself, she concluded yet again that she was dreaming maybe that's why she had this urge to be strong. She stiffened though when one shouted.

"She's over here!" Eyes wide Lucy stared at the man looking at her, she didn't understand anything right now, so she panicked and jump to run away. She went right past the guard and went to the hill near her, exposing herself the guards now surrounded her. "Miss, we're not here to hurt you, we were just ordered to escort you to the Palace."

"Who the hell are you guys?!" Lucy screamed at one of them who decided to move a step forward, she moved back and one of the guards shouted at her to stop and went to move closer at her "S-stand back! I earned a black belt in several martial arts when I was twelve, and I'm not afraid to show it to you!"

Everything was so freaking weird right now, in the first place why were they looking for her, specifically her! Lucy moved another step back and gave out a scream as she fell down the slope of the hill, she gave out grunts as her skin scratched from the sharp branches that was sprouting there. Had she known that this was going to happen she would have worn her freaking sweater, but how in the world would she have known! This itself was freaking crazy!

A handful of times her skin was scratched thus tearing away some parts of her clothing and her hair disheveled from the wind and the branches, her ankle hit a stone and she released a cry of pain. After what felt like a long fall — it was a pretty high slope — Lucy met the hard ground of the landing it was connected to.

"Okay! Definitely not a dream anymore!"

If this was a dream, she shouldn't have felt pain. She rubbed her sore ankle as she gave out a hiss from touching it, hearing another hoard of feet she no more looked to where it was and started running. Even when her ankle was throbbing, she ran as fast as she could. She did not know where she was heading to, but eventually she had reached an unguarded and opened gate.

She went right passed it as she sprinted, she was shocked at the beautiful scene before her. Ranges of small to tall buildings were seen, but not as tall as a skyscraper. The beauty of it lies in the architecture, old stone walls and paths, they were gorgeous. Lit torches were placed on the walls with lamp like features, she turned to go in a corner but was stopped when suddenly she was surrounded with a swarm of guards.

"My lady, we are not to hurt you, please come with us he's been waiting for you." A blonde man told her, he looked handsome with his hair spiked up and his beautiful indigo eyes. Lucy arched her brows in confusion, who the hell was waiting for her?!

"Do not come anywhere near me." Lucy firmly said or rather commanded, as immediately the guards before her stiffened at her voice. She noticed this and took it as an opportunity as she went to punch the guard that was near her, she took him down getting his spear and pointed it at the blonde man in front of her. "I don't know who the hell you're talking about, but I'm pretty sure I don't know anyone in here."

The blonde man deeply sighed, as he went to move forward raising her hand at her. The gesture confused Lucy, but she did not take her guard down. Her eyes widened as she saw his hand glowed, and all of a sudden, she had dropped the spear in her hands. Her whole body straightened as her shoulders squared and she started moving out of her own will.

"What the—!"

"I apologize my lady, but we have to bring you unharmed to the Palace. In your current state, I doubt he'll be any happy with the rest of us." The man spoke to her gently as Lucy gave her most ferocious glare in his way

"What did you do to me?" She gritted out as her body started to walk in the same direction him and the guards were heading to.

They were going straight from the stone path, there were people coming out of their homes watching the commotion. Lucy glared her eyes some more at the man in front of her, well glaring at his back. She couldn't understand what happened, but she had a guess that there was some sort of magical crap that was put onto her.

They continued on the same path, houses after houses they had passed, they finally reached the Palace. Lucy marveled at the structure before her, it was indeed marvelous close up. She can clearly see the intricate design of the stones it was built on; she could even see what looked like scales on it. They entered at what looked like the main gates of the Palace, and they went to venture in some more. It was a long walk from where they came from, but she could already see the gigantic doors that she was sure they would enter on. Lucy heard the man in front of her ordering the guards to go back to their stations, and they dispersed at once.

They reached the doors and Lucy again stared at it in awe, the huge double doors were of pure gold, and it had very unique carvings on it. She stared at it some more and saw the dragon mark she had seen on her previous dream. She gave out a gasped but as she did the doors opened and they swiftly entered. Not in control of her own body she willed herself to breathe, this was getting way creepy for her liking.

Once inside they were met with a very familiar foyer, and a man was pacing at the middle of it, with two older people next to him and a small little girl with the old couple. Her form stilled as her eyes met the man before her, as immediately they came in his eyes went to hers. The olive-green slants stared at her form; his pink hair disheveled that she was sure he had gone through it several times.

It was him, the man in her dreams.
