I adore Lucius and Ivy.
He Loved Her
"How did you know I was here?"
Her eyes could not see.
"I saw you out the window."
And yet she saw everything.
Everything important.
Everything important about him.
She even knew his color.
Even though he did not.
And she would not speak it.
Not now.
Perhaps ever, he thought.
And that was something that Lucius Hunt would just have to accept about Ivy Walker.
Because he loved her.
That she, for all her kindness and gentleness and calmness and warmth.
"No . . ."
Was also stubborn and frustrating.
"I won't tell you your color."
And very, very honest and true.
"Stop asking."
And he loved her.
Just a little snippet. I love really love these two. By far my favorite M. Night movie and Joaquin Phoenix performance ever.
Anyway, I may write more if there's any interest.
