A/N: Alright so this quarantine thing is annoying the shit out of me and although I get it, I also hate it. So for everyone going as stir crazy as I am, here's a light Burzek one shot.

Adam loved watching Kim sleep. She always looked peaceful and he felt like the weight of their job never weighed on her while she slept. They had gotten home late from a bust but Kim had fallen like a ton of brick and he wished it was always that easy for him. But this time, he had pulled Kim to him and fallen asleep just as fast, the two getting some good rest. He pushed a strand of hair that had fallen in her face and he trailed a hand down her spine, resting it on her lower back.

"Why are you staring at me?" Her eyes were still closed but her lips formed a smile, but Adam's laughter rumbled through his chest.

"Because you are beautiful darling." He kissed her shoulder. "Do I need any other reason?"

"I guess you don't." She finally opened her eyes. "Why aren't you still sleeping? Are your ribs hurting?" He had gotten in an altercation with a suspect the previous night.

"My ribs are fine but it is Sunday and we have no plans so stop worrying so much." He lowered himself in bed and kissed her.

"You're not Superman Adam." She countered.

"No because if I were Superman, I wouldn't have you to take care of me when I do something stupid." He laughed.

"Point taken. So what do you suggest that we do today?"

"You, are going to go take a shower while I get breakfast started. That's how far my plan goes." He kissed her again and got out of bed, heading towards the kitchen.

"No shower." She grumbled, pulling a pillow over her head.

"Come on darling, up you go." He chuckled from the kitchen as he started pulling things out of the cupboard. The apartment returned to dead quiet after Adam had made some noise so he suspected that Kim had fallen back asleep. He walked to their room and found her sprawled with her eyes closed, her chest rising and falling evenly. He chuckled to himself and went to the bathroom where he started the shower up. If she didn't want to get up herself, he would do it for her. He made sure the water wasn't too hot and he returned to their room where he scooped her up unceremoniously and flung her over his shoulder, Kim emitting a high pitch squeal in surprise.

"Adam, what are you doing?" She slapped him against his lower back to put her down. "Put me down." She tried squirming out of his grasp but he was stronger.

"I told you to get up and shower but you didn't listen." He was laughing the whole time until he set her down, under the running water.

"ADAMMM!" She was quickly drenched, her tank and undies clinging to her body.

"I told you to shower." He whispered against her lips but one firm grip on his t-shirt and she was pulling him in with her.

"If I'm showering, so are you."

"Then be prepared to be thoroughly exhausted again." He found her lips, pressing her back to the shower tiles, pushing her top up and over her head.

"Sounds like a lot of fun." She pushed his boxers down as they made out.

Kim slipped out of the shower first and wrapped a towel around her body, towel drying her hair. She watched Adam through the shower window as his hands lay flat on the tiles, the warm water rolling down his body. She loved being able to watch him when he was unaware. She could see the scars on his body through the light mist of the room and that only cemented the idea that he was a great cop. He put his whole body and heart into the job and she admired that about him. She started getting herself ready while she watched him wash himself. She decided on getting breakfast done while he was still in the bathroom. She felt like having French toast so she started getting everything and made some bacon for Adam knowing he didn't have breakfast without it. She started dancing to a beat in her head and didn't hear Adam when he came out of the bathroom.

"I didn't know you have sweet moves like that. You've been holding out on me." He leaned against the counter and smirked when she jumped slightly.

"I'm full of surprises." She swayed towards him.

"I have all day to find out about them." He pulled her to him and kissed her.

"That's more than enough time." She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back.

"All day long." He hoisted her up on the counter, running his hands under her shirt.

"Adam, the food." She chuckled between kisses.

"Don't need food, have you." He kissed his way down her neck.

"Even bacon?" She pointed out, knowing it was one of his weaknesses.

"The hell about bacon." He moved her top aside and kissed lower on her shoulder. "Who said we needed food to survive?"

"Your body." She giggled as his fingers tickled her right hip.

"Well my body right now, says it wants to bring you back in bed, pull the covers up and make, you, scream." He bit down gently on her shoulder, sending shivers of want through her body.

"You need to catch, me, first." She said between breaths, managing to slide down the counter and out of Adam's grasp. She ran away from him in a fit of giggles. He had to turn the stove top off before running after her but there wasn't much of anywhere Kim could run that he couldn't corner her in easily.

"Kim, darling?" He walked towards the room, knowing it was the obvious choice. "You know you can't really hide from me." He pushed the door to the bathroom open first and didn't see her so he walked the rest of the way into the room. "Really Kim?" He chuckled, pushing the door open slightly.

"Maybe I was trying to lure you back into bed." She closed the door as he turned, surprised by the sound of her voice. "Did you ever think of that?"

"Can't say that I have." His lopsided smirk was sexy and clearly, he was willing to go along with whatever idea Kim had and the look in her eyes told him all he needed to know. She slowly walked towards him and placed a hand on his chest, pushing him backwards until his knees hit the mattress. "Whatever you have going on in that sexy head of yours, I'm down." She put a bit more pressure on his chest and he fell against the mattress.

"Whatever it is?" She straddled his hips.

"I'm all yours." His hands came to rest on her hips. "Do whatever your heart desires."

"Be careful what you wish for." She leaned down and whispered against his lips. "I might tire you out."

"Even better." He pulled her to him as they made out. They pealed each other of their clothes and Kim did exactly when she had in mind and oh was it satisfying.

Kim fell exhausted against Adam's chest. Her fingers were pressed against his chest as she tried to catch her breath. He was rubbing lazy circles on her back as he breathed in and out in a steady rhythm. Kim breathed in and out at the beat of Adam's breathing and it settled her into a steady breathing rhythm of her own. "A hell of a start to this Sunday."

"We need more of those." Adam agreed. "Feel like eating now?"

"I think I worked an appetite." She chuckled. "How about I go start breakfast?" She pushed herself up a bit to look into his eyes.

"How about you stay in here." He shifted her so she was now lying down and he was propped on his elbow. "And I'll go make breakfast." He kissed her.

"I'm on board with that." Her fingers were dancing at the nape of his neck as they kissed.

"Good, don't move." He smiled at her, pulling away and slipping on a pair of briefs.

"Not going anywhere." She pulled the sheets against her chest and watched him go. Kim considered herself really lucky to have Adam in her life. They were always good together and nothing was truer than it was now. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, a smile on her lips. She could hear Adam move around in the kitchen so she decided to go join him even though he told her to wait there. She pulled a pair of sweat pants up and grabbed Adam's shirt before padding to the kitchen. "Smells amazing in here." She wrapped her arms around his waist.

"It's almost ready." He placed a hand over hers as he continued to cook the last of the eggs.

"How about a movie on the couch?" She pushed herself higher on her toes and slipped her hand higher against his chest.

"Sounds good. You pick the movie and I'll be right there with the food."

"I pick the movie huh?" She scampered off to the living room laughing.

"No chick flicks." He yelled after her.

"Then you shouldn't have let me pick the movie." She called back in amusement.

"I'm so fucked." He groaned, knowing how she wanted to annoy him just for fun. It took him five minutes to finish and he brought the trey to the living room. "What boring sob story am I stuck watching with you today?" He handed her a plate with a glass of orange juice.

"I figured that we could do a double feature." She pointed to the two movie boxes on the table with her fork.

"Ferris Bueller's day off, excellent." He cheered.

"Not so fast baby, we're also watching the Breakfast Club."

"I'll watch whatever you want to darlin'." He took a bite of his bacon as Kim started the movie. They spent the rest of the day on the couch, Kim being touchy feely with Adam. He couldn't wish for a better Sunday than to spend it with his girl having fun and relaxing.
