Several years ago Mages and Werewolves lived in harmony. Working together until an incident changed all that. A mage was found dead and with his throat ripped out. The werewolves were suspected of this horrible crime. Unfortunately the werewolves found one of they're own who was murdered with magic. The Mages were suspected of this. These murders started a war between the two races. The mages separated into 4 groups. The scarlet cloaks were mages who specialized in weapons and fighting,White cloaks specialized in potions and healing, green cloaks specialized in controlling plants,And black cloaks were specialized in chaos and creativity. After all whats creativity without a little chaos? The werewolves chose a leader of the pack who went by the name of Nightmare. The male mages left they're women to go fight in the war but they never returned...The werewolves won the war and remaining mages were banished scattered into hiding until they found an area of land were they created a sanctuary. unfortunately these past 10 years no more mages came and all the mages in this little village were woman and children...

Yin sighed as she reread the passage in her book with a frown as she adjusted her white hood. What if the werewolves weren't to blame? What if there was someone that WANTED the war? What if- "I know what your thinking." A female voice said from behind her. Yin turned around to see her friend Red. Red like almost all the girls in the village had red hair that faded to blue at the bottom,Tannish skin,And freckles. She wore a red hood and a tunic meaning that she was one of the guards for the village.

She was pretty except for the scar on her left cheek given to her by a werewolf. She had a smirk on her face as she leaned against the wall. " Werewolves are evil. The curse that the guys casted before dying turned them into skeletons making them more recognizable plus since when did a werewolf help us?" She scoffed and stood up. "I'm going on patrol. wanna come?" She asked gesturing to Yin. Yin nodded excitedly and grabbed her book. Red chuckled and left walked into the hallway.

Yin followed. "Is today going mute day?" Red asked in a joking tone referring to Yin's silence. "No I was thinking.." She said with a small smile. Unlike Red Yin didn't wear a tunic. She wore a white dress with a black apron, A pouch hung on her hip, And her hair was in a french braid. "About what?" Red asked with a frown. Knowing Yin she was going to say something about the werewolves. "The werewolves.." "Ugh Yin we went over this." Red groaned in complete annoyance.

Yin glared at her. "But what if we're wrong and they aren't bad? What if someone else killed that Mage? I mean they lost a wolf too-" Red put both hands on her shoulders. "Yin...Its obvious." She started with an annoyed face."The werewolves killed someone from they're own kind to cover up the fact that they killed one of OUR people. Its obvious now that you think about it isn't it?" She released Yin and walked ahead of her pulling out her sword. "I don't want to hear another word of it until after patrol." She called back. Yin frowned clearly annoyed but she followed Red anyway.

Later they were in a clearing. "Okay Yin stay here I have to go at least a few miles north to check the cloaking spell. There should be some herbs here." Yin nodded and knelt near a patch of plants and plucked a few while listening to Red walking away. She hummed to herself before she heard footsteps. She stood up and spun on her heel and looked around. "R-Red?" She asked nervously.

The sticks stopped cracking for a moment and a rabbit jumped into the clearing. She sighed in relief and turned back to her herbs when she heard a male voice. "What is a girl like you doing out here alone?" She froze. There were no men in the village so that would mean. A skeleton covered in what appeared to be black tar walked from the shadows of the forest. His tendrils barely noticeable in the shadows and his one cyan eye gleaming in anticipation...

Red spun her sword around as she walked through the dark woods with her boots making cracking sounds in the leaves. She was a little annoyed that she and Yin needed this conversation again but she shrugged it off. Her gaze scanned the forest floor in alert. Because although there wasn't any werewolf sightings in 10 years she still needed to be careful. She froze when she saw some unfamiliar tracks in the leaves.

She knelt next to them and took a closer look before looking up at the barrier that kept the wolves from finding them. There was a hole. Red gasped remembering that she left Yin alone and stood up and started to run too the clearing calling her name.

The skeleton took another step to her causing her to back up. She hadn't said anything since he arrived. All the words red told her running through her head. "I'm not going to hurt you little healer." He said with a smirk. Her heart quickened and her breath caught in her throat. One of his tendrils wrapped around her waist and she gasped in surprise. Suddenly in a flash of red, black, and silver the tendril was off her and Red stood infront of her. "Keep your fucking paws off!" She snapped before grabbing Yin's hand and pulling the poor girl back into the direction of the village.

Nightmare growled as he looked at his injured Tendril and immediately called for Blueberry who rushed to heal him. "FELL!" He shouted as a skeleton wearing a red tunic and black pants walked over. "Yeah your highness?" He asked with his arms crossed. "My prey ran off with your them now!" He said with a glare in fells direction. Fell nodded before transforming into a skeletal wolf and running off into the woods...
