I'm Not a Killer
"She lied to you! She was protecting the last waterbender..." Katara cried out.
"What? Who?" Yon Rha asked her, visibly shaken.
Katara closed her eyes, then opened them, staring directly at her mother's murderer.
"ME!" she screamed, stopping the rain and creating a dome of water in the process. Once it was complete, she turned the water into ice shards and launched them at Yon Rha, pinning him to the ground as he screamed in agony.
Zuko removed his mask as to show that he had nothing to hide, figuring Katara would eventually kill this man.
"You're about to suffer more pain than you can possibly imagine, much worse than this. But don't worry. It's nothing compared to the pain you've caused me. Zuko, give me your hand."
The crown prince dared not disobey Katara, the only time he had ever been truly intimidated by her was when she threatened his life at the Western Air Temple his first day joining Team Avatar. Now he was beginning to be utterly terrified of her.
"What are we doing?" Zuko inquired, nervously.
"Shut up and watch."
"Katara began to bloodbend Yon Rha, but it wasn't any normal bloodbending. His skin began to redden and steam started to arise from his skin. A foul stench could be smelled in the air as his flesh sizzled and boiled.
"Katara...stop this...this is wrong." Zuko pleaded to her, as Yon Rha wailed. She stared madly into the killer's eyes as his body overheated.
"That's enough!" he yelled, yanking his hand away from the waterbender's tight grip.
Yon Rha moaned as he laid in his own blood and urine. Zuko spoke up to Katara.
"Where are you going?" he questioned her as she began to walk alone away from the scene. "We can't just leave him like this." he continued.
"I'm not a killer. My mother wouldn't want me to be like him." Katara said over her shoulder.
"Would she have wanted this?" Zuko retorted.
"..how should I know? She's dead. Finish it then, why don't you?" Katara coldly responded as she spat into the ground, turning away from him and walking once more down the path.
Zuko laid his eyes on her once in shock and somewhat grief, then took a look at Yon Rha. Thunder rolled in the distance and after a minute or so, lightning crashed down near Zuko as he absorbed it and sent all of the electricity into Yon Rha's body as Rha shrieked for a few seconds. Katara stopped in her tracks, but didn't look back at the event. She was stonefaced, continuing down the road as Zuko eventually caught up to her.
