Chapter 1: Meet The Chisolms

A.N. Well, here we go again, ladies and gentlemen. This time, I'm taking you on a journey to Pontypandy, home of Fireman Sam. This story is actually a second take of my story of the same name under my first FanFiction account ElvisRocks2014, which I published with a PAW Patrol document by mistake. I must admit that I myself am not really proud of myself for doing that. This time, now that I have more knowledge of how to this site, I'm gonna post the right document with the right story.

One afternoon, Fireman Sam was on his way to Bella Lasagne's cafe to pick up lunch for himself and the rest of the crew of the Pontypandy Fire Service. He soon arrived in went inside.

"Hello, Bella." he greeted.

" 'Ello, Sam!" Bella smiled in return. "Your-a pizza is-a right-a here!"

"Thank you, Bella." Sam thanked as he paid for the pizza.

Soon, Sam was on his way back to Pontypandy Fire Station, but on the way, he spotted something.

"Hello, what's this?" he asked.

When Sam got closer, he discovered it was a moving van and it was parked on the same street he lived on. A woman, two young girls, and a teenage boy were seen carrying boxes from the van and into the house two doors down from his. The woman had light brown hair in a chignon, green eyes, and wore a dark green button-down short-sleeve shirt, khaki pants, and tan Chukka boots, the boy had shoulder-length jet black hair in a perm, similar to that of Brian May from Queen, green eyes, and wore a grey t-shirt with the Royal Air Force roundel on it under a black denim jacket, navy blue jeans, and white sneakers, and both the girls had light brown hair like their mother, but in perms, blue eyes, freckles, and were wearing red t-shirts, light blue jeans, and red sneakers. The only differences between the two were that one of the girls had the letter "D" on her shirt and the other had the letter "V" on hers.

"Ah, nice, new neighbors." Sam smiled to himself. "But I suppose I'll have to greet them later. I better head back to the station or else this pizza will get cold."

Later that day, Sam was on his way back to his home at 3 Vale Road, but as he passed 5 Vale Road, where he had discovered the truck, he found it was gone.

"Looks like those people finished moving in." he concluded. "Now might be a good time to greet them and welcome to the neighborhood. And I know just how."

He went inside, and came back out a while later wearing his casual clothes and holding a rectangular cardboard box.

"They'll love this." Sam said to himself.

He soon arrived at the house and knocked on the door. The door opened and he was greeted by the two little girls he had seen. The two girls looked up at him with amazement.

"Hello there." Sam greeted with a smile. "Is your mother home?"

"Yes, she is." said the girl with the "D" on her shirt.

"Mama, there's someone at the door who wants to see you!" cried the girl with the "V" on her shirt.

"I'll be right there!" said an older female voice.

Soon, the girls' mother was within view of their visitor.

"Well, hello." the woman greeted. "Who are you?"

"I'm Sam Jones." Sam replied. "I live two doors down from here and I just wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood."

"Thank you." the woman smiled. "My name is Judith Chisholm, and these are my twin daughters Vicki and Debbi."

"Hello, Sam!" Vicki and Debbi announced.

Just then, Judith saw the box Sam had in his hands.

"What's this?" Judith asked.

Sam opened the box and it revealed a Battenberg cake.

"A little something I whipped up for you." Sam said with a wink.

"Ooh, this looks scrumptious." Judith smiled. "Thank you."

"Can we have some now, Mama?" Debbi asked.

"Now hold on, you two." Judith ordered. "What're the rules?"

"No sweets before dinner." the girls groaned.

"That's right." Judith said.

Judith then turned to Sam.

"Would you like to stay for dinner?" she offered.

"I'd love to." Sam replied happily.

"Great." said Judith. "Well, come on inside, then."

And that's exactly what he did.

"So, what's on the menu?" Sam asked.

"Fried chicken with potato wedges." Judith answered. "It's almost ready. Girls, will you go upstairs and tell your brother that dinner will be ready soon?"

"Yes, Mama." the girls responded.

"You come too, Sam!" Vicki said.

And before Sam knew it, the girls each had one of his hands and he was being dragged up the stairs. Judith chuckled.

"Kids." she said. "Always on the move."

Eventually, Sam, Vicki, and Debbi reached the second floor and Debbi knocked on a door.

"It's open." said a male voice.

They went in and saw the boy from earlier sitting on the bed and tuning a Takamine G10 acoustic-electric guitar.

"Gilbert, Mama says that dinner's almost ready." informed Debbi.

"And by the way, this is Sam." added Vicki.

"'Sup, dude?" Gilbert said to Sam as he gave him the shaka sign.

"Hi, Gilbert." Sam chuckled in return.

Sam looked around Gilbert's room and saw that the walls were dotted with posters of rock bands like The Beatles, Journey, Queen, Boston, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Rush, and Guns n' Roses. There was also a guitar rack housing a Hagstrom Swede in the Black Gloss finish and a Rickenbacker 4003 in the Matte Black finish. There was also a black Ludwig Element Evolution 5-piece drum kit in Black Sparkle.

"Wow, someone really likes their music." Sam said. "Kind of like someone else I know."

Just then, Judith announced that the meal was ready, and everyone washed up went downstairs to eat. After dinner, they all enjoyed a slice of Sam's Battenberg cake, then it was time for Sam to go home, so he bade farewell to the Chisolms and went back to his old house, unaware of the events to come what would forever change his life.
