After Stars Above, Cinder and Kai get married. The Rampion Crew is dying with excitement, especially Iko. Everyone is ready for the royal wedding, but that all crumbles when a jealous Lunar Thaumaturge shows up on earth, wanting revenge for Levanna's Death. Cinder has survived lots of tough scrapes before, but how does she get out of this one?

1. Chapter 1

Scarlet jumped awake. Her house was silent, which was a little strange after having seen all the festivities of last night. She remembered watching Cinder and Kai walk out of the house for a little bit, then going to bed before they came back. She stood up quietly, she didn't want to wake Wolf.

Scarlet tiptoed out to the Rampion, ready for anything. "Cinder? Kai? Is anyone there?" She called quietly, not wanting to wake Cress or Thorne.

Something snapped in the bushes. Scarlet whirled. "Anyone there?" She stumbled back in surprise as she saw two figures standing in the ferns.

One of the figures glanced at the other and laughed. "Scarlet? Are you okay? You sound terrified."

"Cinder? Kai?" Scarlet chuckled. The two figures glanced at each other, and the one with a lengthy ponytail stepped out into the moonlight. Scarlet smiled. "Cinder! I couldn't find you, I was so worried considering-"

Scarlet stopped dead when Kai stood up next to Cider. He was grinning almost sheepishly, and every time he met Scarlet's gaze, he flushed.

"Kai, come on. Let's go back inside. I'll explain." Cinder's fingers were gentle against Kai's skin as she led him back toward the Rampion.

Kai glanced back at Scarlet. "Go grab Wolf. Cinder has something to tell us. Oh, and don't forget to get Winter and Jacin." He smirked. Scarlet smiled to herself and trotted back to the old farmhouse. The door squeaked as she walked inside. She bolted up the stairs and into the master bedroom. "Wolf," she whispered. "Wolf, get up. Cinder needs to talk to us."

"Wha-? Huh?" Wolf bolted upright, stiff as a board, then his gaze softened as he met Scarlet's eyes.

"Come on. Cinder and Kai seemed like they had something pressing to tell us."

Wolf leapt up. He started out the door.

"Oh, and we need to get Winter and Jacin also." Scarlet smiled.

Kai glanced over at Cinder and grinned at her. She smiled back at him, clearly ready for this. He grabbed her metal hand, rubbing the band that encircled her titanium finger.

Kai jumped as the Rampion opened. Scarlet, Wolf, Jacin, and Winter were walking in toward them as Thorne, Cress and Iko came into the room. Kai smiled.

"Okay, we're all here. Come have a seat." he said as everyone walked around them. "Cinder and I have some news."
