Redbeard was the fiercest pirate known to the 17 seas of the wizarding world. His ship, The Welsh Green, was said to have a strong enough levitation charm on it to be able to fly across the skies as easily as it sailed across the water. Redbeard turned to his crew observing the loot he had just stolen from a ministry ship as they flew across the skies back to their home base in Romania. Brooms and magic carpets were one thing but not even his days on the quidditch field compared to the thrill of robbing the mighty Gringott and getting away with it.

His brother wouldn't be impressed, he was one of the people who kept the treasure stocked but Redbeard never wanted to be in poverty again, he had had enough of it growing up and wouldn't put his financials in the hands of an employer. Besides they had more than enough treasure and if they did ever decide that their wealth was to their satisfaction why his brother would be out of a job. Pirates like him are why William has a job in the first place. Of course no one in his family knows what he does, he has never lied but he has definitely bent the truth.

He told them the truth, he was working with a Welsh Green in Romania, he had a great team of people working under him, it pays well, of course he misses home but he needs a life of adventure and nothing provides more adventure than his favourite dragon. Rubbing his hand on the intricate dragon carvings on his boat he wonders if anyone ever suspects him. It was easy to go collect a baby dragon, he had contacts for that before he ever thought he could manage his own ship, actually working with dragons a few years ago was difficult wrangling an angry Horntail was a trying enough task that none of the other men questioned his help. Beyond that no one really seemed to think of him.

Pulling out a picture of when everyone visited his brother in Egypt he thought especially of his youngest brother and how proud was of him. Order of Merlin first class, prefect, married to the girl of his dreams and enough adventure to satisfy a person for a lifetime. Redbeard shook his head wondering if he'd ever be satisfied enough to retire, not with gold he was already there, but with adventure. Everything else seemed so boring compared to piracy. He felt like a character in a novel exploring and taking control of his life boldly and without apology.

Going down into the depths of his ship staring at his piles of galleons, more than his father had earned in a lifetime, more than was even awarded with ten orders of Merlin and he kept wondering why he never felt satisfied.

Twirling a galleon between his fingers, Charlie Weasley wondered if Ron ever knew how lucky he was, any of his siblings really, how lucky they were to be satisfied.
