This will contain manga spoilers so if you're reading this now you have been warned also a warning for character deaths.

Maybe it was iconic for this to happen to her. The stinging betrayal of being double crossed by her new comrades was probably her own fault.

But it happened twice, and real sick of her shitty luck.

Now here she was amongst the flames and burning feathers as her costume was basically torn to shreds. Her teammate Dabi stood in front of her as he faced off against the traitor known as Hawks.

"You know I have to finish this." He spoke calmly even as one of his wings was nearly burned to a crisp. Dabi's flames were nearly covering the entire room as the two fought. The burned ashes of feathers scattered to the ground as his Azure flames intensified with each passing moment.

"Can you move?" He questioned over to her. If she wasn't shaking she was now. Her body in a state of panick as intense blue eyes loomed over her.

"How c-could I fail again..."

She had tears in her eyes as she tried to form words to apologize to Dabi. He had protected her and saved her on so many occasions, it was sickening. She was a proud member of the league of villians and yet she couldn't ever save herself. Hell even Toga had-

"Oh fuck!! Toga and Compress are waiting for me!!"

"Are you just gonna lay on your ass all day? Don't they need you down there?!" Dabi questioned as he shot another fireball towards a downed hawks.

"I've got this just go!!" He said after pulling up a huge firewall between them and hawks. Twice had give Dabi a once over before she could actually start crying, he could always be a dick, but he always meant well enough like a brother almost.

With all she had left she began to run downstairs with all her might, her mask fully torn showcasing her short blonde hair and the noticable scar split perfectly down her forehead.

Her grayish blue eyes scanning over the carnage of the mansion as she ran down another all. She ducked Into another room as she saw a group of heros trying to fend off a nomu.

"Where are they?! They should be around here somewhere!?"

BOOOOOOOOOM!

The mansion violently shook as she tried holding on tightly to the door frame. Her body still in a rather damaged state after trying to deal with hawks from earlier.

"I need to find them...I need to find them..." She said slowly as she reached a gloved hand to the side of her face ready to claw her cheek in fear.

"J-Jin..." A small voice spoke pulling twice from her thoughts. Turning her head she saw that down the opposite hall way was Compress and Toga. She was about to rush towards them when she noticed the beat up state both of them were in.press had his mask torn a bit along with his suit. His robotic arm turn off from the elbow joint as his he held up by Toga. The normally energized girl looked worse for wear as she too was roughed up by the scatter remnants of her normal uniform.

"T-Toga!" Twice yelled leaping towards them. She was now full blown crying as she embraced the two in a hug.

"Heh, the overly dramatic one I see." press joked lightly as he leaned against the wall for balance.

"G-Guys I'm so sorry! I messed up again..." Twice, or Jin began to wail,but Toga began to wipe her tears away soothingly.

"It's ok, Jin. Dabi gave us the lay about of what's going on. It's not your fault." Toga said calmly, but Jin was still the emotional mess.

"So this is really it,huh?" Compress spoke blatantly. A dreadful atmosphere engulfed them as they knew what was to come.

Their time was up.

"No it's not! I can still make doubles and we can-"

"No." Jin was interrupted by a very serious looking Toga, as silence enveloped them. She at looked at her in surprise at the situation at hand,but didn't say anything. Toga took a deep breathe to calm her nerves as she looked between Jin and Compress.

"Jin...you have to escape." Toga said surprising both Jin and compress as their eyes widened at her.

"What! B-but why!?" Jin had yelled furiously. Her eyes still brimmed with tears as Compress placed his still functioning hand on her shoulder.

"She's right...the one who needs to escape is you. I'm pretty much useless without this." He said lifted up his dismembered robotic arm.

"B-but...this is all my fault!! I trusted him again and everything went to shit be-because..." She didn't finish her sentence as Toga placed a gentle hand on her cheek. The girl gave a gentle smile as enveloped her in another hug.

"You've saved us so many times Jin, you even saved my life. If anyone can leave it would be you." Toga whispered softly as Jin broke down crying again.

BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

Another explosion happened causing the mansion to shake once more beneath their feet.

Toga pushed back Jin slightly with a genuine smile on her face as slight tears began to leave from Toga's golden eyes.

"Thank you for being one the greatest friends please live a fulfilling life!" Toga said as her and Compress ran in a different direction leaving behind a sobbing jin holding out her hands towards them.

"Why...why in the end do I lose everything..."

She had panted slightly as she clung to a tree for support. Her body ached unbelievably as her muscles screamed at her in agony.

Though her body was in pain her mind was completely numb. Her body had finally given out as she sat at the front of the base of tree.

She was already miles away from the liberation army base and even farther away of what she left behind. Her costume barely clung to her as various attacks from other heroes nearly stopped her advances.

Now here she was barely clothed and possibly bleeding to death. Yet she didn't care...how could she care after all the mistakes she has made in her life.

She was betrayed so many times in her life...by her friends and family. By her own clones, by Overhaul, and now by hawks.

It was ironically pitiful.

The worst betrayal coming from a hypocrite hero trying to kill her. Life was full of unexpecting things.

In way she was unlucky to live this life...and yet...

She slowly lifted her body up as her muscles ached. She had felt utterly nauseous and her head was spinnning from the pain.

She still...

Each step felt more agonizing than the next as her limbs felt like lead.

Kept...

Her legs bucked beneath her as she fell to her hand and knees.

going...

Her eyesight began to blur as the last thing she was was a green silhouette start to blur before her.

"Heroes...a-are... hypocrites..."

With her last words her body finally gave out on her and she collapsed into the grass before her, blood slowly making its way out of the open cuts inflicted by hawks earlier.

Darkness consumed her very being as she her body felt as it was being lifted up by an unknown force.

"Dabi...spinner...Compress...Toga...I'm sorry...I failed..."

A groan escaped her lips as her eyes opened slowly as tried to focus on anything around her. The first thing she noticed was the fact that she wasn't in a forest anymore. Another thing she noticed was she on a small bed in a very small room.

The last thing she noticed was the very uncomfortable amount of All Might memorabilia surrounding her. Posters, figurines and the whole works surrounded her as she laid not surprising underneath all night themed covers.

"This isn't a very funny hell..." She whispered to herself trying to lift herself from the bed. Looking down she noticed that a majority of her would were wrapped up in bandages and she had on a set of clothes one size to big for her.

Their was a creak at the door as her eyes widen at who entered the room. A boy with green curly hair and emerald eyes entered the room. His body was covered in bandages as his face held a bruise or two.

Jin's eyes widened slowly as she remembered the boy in front of her.

"Y-Your that Midoriya kid!" She gasped out as Izuku himself stared blankly at her. He cared a small tray of food placing it on the desk beside the bed.

A slight tension filled the room as Izuku sat at the very edge of the bed. Jin noticed a certain look in his eyes as he sat down though. They weren't the eyes of someone with Hopes and dreams.

"Y-You've been out for a w-while...how do you f-feel?" Izuku questioned awkwardly as Jin stared at him for a while in silence.

"Y-you were bleeding pretty bad b-back there...so I had to patch you up." Izuku said pointing at the first aid kit at the corner of the room. He was met with silence as he kept talking.

"I don't know how to make much ,but I brought a few things to eat so you can keep up your strength." He said pointing the tray that had a chicken soup and loaf of bread. Jin barely glanced at it as she still stared holes into Izuku's being.

"If you need anything just let me know-"

"Where am I?" Jin questioned as Izuku looked at her in surprise,but quickly faded away.

"This is my old room...you're at my mom's house." Izuku stated as he looked around the room with a look of...resentment?

"Why...why am I here?" Jin questioned very cautiously. Izuku glanced over at her scared form for a moment before he looked over at the other corner of the room. He took a moment to gather his words as he tried coming up with a right awnser.

"I...I saved you." He said slowly. His mouth felt dry saying the words,but Jin did take notice of the conflicted emotion that flashed across the boys face.

"You've been asleep for three days...My mom has been looking over you for me." Izuku said. He memory flashed to the horrified look his mother gave him after he brought home a bleeding woman.

Jin looked even more startled than before as her breath hitched slightly in her chest. A sense of foreboding hitched up her levels of anxiety as her hand clenched tightly against the sheets.

"Why...am I not in jail or a hospital?" She questioned almost dreading the awnser. Hearing this Izuku took a deep breathe before giving off a long sigh.

"During the...mission to take down the liberation army and you guys...there were...causalities..." Izuku spoke as if he was living a flash back. Memories of that day flooding his mind vividly.

Blood. Devastation. Destruction.

"Both sides...suffered." He said lowly as voice shook with each word. Jin felt her world become smaller as she listened to him speak. Her body also shaking violently as he kept talking.

"It wasn't suppose t-to happen like that..." He said as tears finally began to leave his eyes.

"W-what about Toga and everyone? T-Their arrested and being treated in s-some hospital right...?" Jin questioned desperately as she fought her hardest to hold back her tears. Izuku turned towards her facing her fully as the tears began to cascaded harder down his face. He bowed his head deeply at the end of the bed as he clenched the covers tightly in his hands.

"I'M SO SORRY!!" He wailed uncontrollably now as Jin's emotional damn broke. She cried just as hard as she began thrashing on the bed. Her bandages opening up slightly as blood trickled onto the bed, but she didn't care.

Her friends...they were gone...

And she was alone once again...

"It has now been four days since the fateful Liberation Confrontation has ended. Dozen of heroes lost as many of them are injuried and are unable to perform heroic duties again. An even more devastating loss to U.A as only a small handful of future heroes in training survived this devastating massacre-"

Inko had swiftly changed the station as Izuku had left his former room with the empty tray of food. She quickly walked into the kitchen as she saw him place each item into the sink.

"Iz-Izuku-kun how is she?"She questioned worriedly as Izuku himself gave her a soft smile.

"She ate the food...she'll probably be up to full strength in no time." He said as Inko gave her son a tight hug from behind. She cried hard into the back of his shirt as Izuku tried holding back the tears himself.

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry..."Inko repeated in a trance. Izuku knew it wouldn't help though, it wouldn't brin back the ones he's lost.

And it wouldn't bring back the woman he onced love.
