"Luna!" Her father, Apollo Gates, stomped into her room quickly. He was a big man, stood at about 6'2" with an intimidating aura around him; however, he was actually a very compassionate and caring man. His onyx hair was slicked back, the sides faded close to his scalp; arctic eyes rested on a pair that rivaled his as she turned to look at him from her desk.

"Yes, father?" She smirked and he grinned widely at her.

"We're moving!"

"HUH?" Her eyes practically popped out of her head.

"We're moving to Japan!" She blinked quickly.

"Why?"

"Your sister school there is having some problems with a villain organization that has popped up. There has already been one attack and they fear that it is just the beginning." He crossed his arms as he spoke.

"So they want to take America's number one hero and transfer him to Japan? What about the agency?" She wasn't liking the idea, she had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.

"Doc can handle running the agency here. I plan on opening a Japanese branch when we get there since I'm not sure how long we'll be staying." Doc was her father's sidekick; don't let the name fool you, he was not a doctor. The name of his quirk was Living, which allows him to turn certain objects into living creatures. Her father's hero name was Nightwalker and his quirk, Black Hole, let him be able to control and manipulate shadows however he wanted to and create things similar to black holes. The agency, Star Fire, was named after her mother's hero name; she had passed away when Luna was young due to a tragic accident. Luna sighed, knowing that this wasn't up for discussion.

"When do we leave?" He smiled widely again.

"Tomorrow." She slammed her hand down.

"Tomorrow? That's too soon! What about all my friends? Do I not have the chance to say goodbye?" The situation was becoming more and more unfair for her by the second.

"I'm sure you can meet up with all of them tonight and tell them the situation," he walked over to her and put his hands on her shoulder, "but think of it this way, it will be Nightwalker and Darkstar's Japanese Debut! It's going to be huge!"

He ruffled her hair. Luna was a pretty girl, her arctic eyes were the only things that favored her father. Other than that she looked exactly like her mother, long tawny hair and a slim, athletic build, genetics filling her out in all the right places; she was short like her mother too, only about 5'2", but that was in no way a handicap for her.

Her hero name was Darkstar and she already had her Provisional Heros License which meant she did her internship under her father.

He wasn't one to let her out of his sight given how dangerous her quirk was. She had to have a regulator that fractured her power so that it wouldn't go haywire, as much as she didn't want to have to rely on the scythe that she used, that was per her father's request and he had yet to let her change it; her quirk, Supernova, allowed her to control black flames that exploded almost like a black sun erupting into a supernova. When her power wasn't fractured, if given the chance, she could level a small city with the snap of her fingers. She grabbed her phone slowly.

"Guess I need to start packing." She looked at her father, sadness in her eyes and he patted her head.

"I don't think it'll be forever, we should be able to come back here eventually. Once everything calms down with those villains we'll see about coming home, okay?" He didn't like seeing his daughter upset for any reason and as much as he was excited about this move he knew how hard it would be for her. Luna made quick plans with her closest friends and packed her life up as soon as she got done; they boarded their plane and were off, their home retreating in the distance as a new beginning awaited them.

"Wow, this place is huge. A lot bigger than my campus." She held her hand over her eyes, shielding the light away as she looked over the grand buildings of UA, her excitement had begun to win over her sadness. Her father watched her carefully, they had made it to their new house and dropped their bags off; the rest of their things were due to come in later in the day. They both showered and changed because of the long flight and were now fresh and clean as they stepped into the building. Apollo was in a tight charcoal shirt, narrow waisted faded blue jeans and combat boots; his hair was still wet from the shower and he chuckled as Luna ran quickly in front of him, inspecting everything that they were walking past.

"Apparently they have an event going on right now, some sort of sports festival?" Apollo watched his daughter bounce around. She had her long hair up in a high ponytail, showing off the length of her neck; she wore a loose pale blue tank top and had the front half tucked into the top of her navy jean shorts, she wore her trademark boots that were penny brown and wore in comfortably, her scythe compressed and holstered in a pouch on her thigh, keeping it close to her was always the best option.

"This way." He grabbed her shoulder before she could wander too far. They made the trek to the stadium that the event was happening in; what looked like thousands of people filled the bleachers watching the battle taking place. There were two boys fighting each other, one had ice power and the other some form of super strength; Luna's excitement burst at the seams as she jumped into the air, easily clearing all of the people and landing on the ledge that tapered off into the bottom section.

"Luna! You're in the way!" Her father scolded her as he sprinted down to where she was, she was now blocking the view of a few people. She looked over her shoulder, hands behind her back as she locked eyes with one of them. His marigold eyes swirled with interest as she smiled at him while mouthing the word "sorry". He looked to be about 22 and had messy daffodil colored hair that was raked back away from his face. His gold glasses were perched on his head and he wore an aviator looking outfit, a tight fitting black shirt underneath the open jacket. Her eyes roamed over his crimson wings and when her eyes met back with his she could see a kind of amusement in them.

"Luna, get down!" Her father moved to grab her but she was having none of it. She sidestepped him with a twirl and her attention went back to the match. She was pulled in now, but not nearly close enough; she crouched down, the balls of her feet over the edge, as she wrapped her fingers over the edge too. The pouch on her leg began to have an aura swirl around it and her father gave her a warning look.

"I'm gonna get a closer look." She grinned widely then poked her tongue out of the side of her mouth. In a surge she activated her quirk, her tawny hair now black that faded into scarlet and moved like flames. Her arctic eyes, a piercing ruby as small flames danced around her wrists and ankles; in one swift move she launched herself from her position and flew down to the arena, landing gracefully. She deactivated her quirk and began to walk around the area, studying the two boys every move.

"Damn it, Luna, get back here!" Apollo leaned over the ledge to yell at her but knew that it was no good. He could hear someone laughing uncontrollably behind him; he turned to see the man that Luna had been looking at.

"Who is that girl? I want her to join my agency now just off of that whole experience." He was holding his sides now.

"That girl is my daughter." Apollo spoke in perfect Japanese, him and Luna were both fluent in many different languages, as he fought the urge to roll his eyes. She was a handful just like her mother.

"Is she a student?" He was interested now.

"Yeah, we just moved here from America, there is a sister school there. This is her first time being on this campus and she's pretty excited." The man nodded to this.

"What year?"

"She's going to be starting with the first years, but she honestly should be in her second. She's got her provisional license and is almost 17; however she said she wanted to start at the beginning here, so that's what she's doing." Apollo shrugged, keeping a watchful eye on his spawn.

"Has she found an agency she wants to intern with here?" He was hoping she hadn't because he would love to take her under his wing, pun intended.

"I plan on opening a Japanese beach of my agency which she will be a part of." Apollo met his eyes now.

"Huh, what's the name?" He couldn't quell his curiosity.

"Star Fire."

"No way, that's one of the top in America. So that means that you're Nightwalker then." The man knew that Apollo had looked familiar, he just wasn't able to place him. Apollo nodded and held out a hand.

"Apollo Gates," the man took it, "I apologize again for my daughter."

"Oh, no, don't worry about it. She seems like a delight," He put his head in his hand as his eyes, too, followed the wandering girl, "I'm Keigo Takami, Hero Name: Hawks."

Keigo turned back to Apollo briefly before returning his attention to Luna.

"It's nice to meet you."

"What is she doing?" He was enraptured by her, there was something that had sparked in him from that mischievous glint that he saw in her eyes.

"Studying." Apollo answered quietly.

"Studying? Studying what?"

"Them," Apollo nodded at the two boys fighting, "she's learning their moves, their patterns. She's coming up with tactics on how to handle and counter their quirks should she ever have to fight against them." He glanced at Keigo whose eyes were wide with even more fascination.

"She checks all the bullet points doesn't she? Do you think she would be interested in a dual internship? I would love to have her join, even if it's part time." Keigo shifted his weight, he wasn't going to give up easily. Apollo narrowed his eyes.

"How about we discuss this further at a later date?" Keigo put his hands up defensively, hearing the protectiveness in Apollo's voice.

"I'll give you my contact information." Meanwhile, Luna was absorbed in the fight; her mind working overtime formulating the plans she needed. She was almost overcome with joy when she saw that the boy that was controlling ice could also control fire; from a distance she could hear someone yell the name "Shoto". It was just getting good when the advisors of the fight stepped in, fearing that one of them would end up dead. The green haired boy that had incredible strength already seemed to be on his last leg, his quirk was physically destructive causing damage to himself. One last attack was thrown and cement walls came popping up from the ground, it was an attempt to soften the fallout of the attack. The blast exploded outward, causing destructive winds to rip through the stadium; Luna's eyes shined, they were truly amazing.

"Luna!" She heard her name again and turned to where her father was. She knew by his tone that he was not in a playing mood anymore; she activated her quirk once more and leaped back up to where he was, landing softly on the ledge, hands behind her back and with a cheeky smile on her face.

"Yes, father?" She was trying to lighten him back up with her playful banter.

"Amazing." She heard someone say, a silky voice that was almost like honey. She moved her eyes lazily in the direction of the voice and her eyes were once again met with marigold orbs. Her quirk was still activated so Keigo was getting a good look at it now, it was truly beautiful in a deadly kind of way.

"Luna Gates, Keigo Takami," Apollo moved from her to Keigo then back again, "Keigo, Luna."

She jumped down from the ledge gracefully, deactivated her quirk and walked up in front of him, tilting her head as she gazed at him, his body feeling like it was being enveloped in icy water. She had a piercing stare and he couldn't tell if she was irritated or just bored; it was neither actually, she too was fascinated by him and wanted to know more about his quirk. She held out a slim hand as a delicate smile pulled at her rosey lips, he felt his breath leave him. Keigo broke eye contact with her reluctantly and gently grabbed her hand, it was so small in his own.

"My Hero Name is Darkstar." Her voice was soft, almost a whisper and he felt as if they were the only two in the stadium getting lost once again in those chilly pools, he swallowed slowly suddenly unaware of how to form a sentence.

"Um, Hawks," He cleared his throat as he slowly let go of her hand, a small flush finding his cheeks as he looked away from her, "my Hero Name."

She tilted her head further to the side, innocent eyes blinking quickly, wondering why he seemed to be so flustered. He nearly choked when she leaned over him, placing her left hand on his left shoulder; she used him as an anchor as she ran her free hand over his crimson feathers. He could feel her hand start slipping from his shoulder so he placed his hands high up on her waist, helping her so that she didn't end up falling into him. His face was bright red and Apollo was having a hard time keeping a straight face. She brushed over the father's gently, loving the feel of the soft silk on her bare skin.

"Beautiful," she murmured and Keigo's eyes widened slightly, he had never heard that word be used to describe his wings, "are these actual appendages?"

She asked more to herself than him as she placed her left knee on the open space of the seat, in between his legs. She put her weight on that knee now, which lifted her higher up to be able to see his back better; the movement causing his hands to be anchored lower, now on her hips as she judged to use both of her hands to probe his back and was now leaned over his shoulder.

He swallowed hard, her scent assaulting him deliciously. He felt her right hand run over the cartilage of the wings, as her left hand snaked under his jacket finding what it was looking for. She hummed softly and he found himself thinking that it was a beautiful sound; his pulse pounded in his ears as her finger

tips touched the edges of where the fabric separated so that his wings could fit through the shirt.

Her fingers touched his skin where his wings met his body as she brushed the fingers of her right hand through his feathers again; he was about to lose all sense of self control when she pulled away, placing her hands on his shoulders and leaning back on her knee so that her right foot could touch the ground again. His hands were still on her hips as she looked down at him, the light capturing her beauty.

"Did you find your answers?" His voice was hoarse, very unlike him being that he was always so calm and collected.

"Yeah." She beamed and his heart skipped, this girl was going to be his downfall and he knew it. Apollo watched closely, knowing exactly what Keigo was thinking; unfortunately for him not knowing Luna, he wasn't aware that this was just the way she was. How he was flustered, she thought nothing of it. She patted one of his hands which brought him back from the cloud nine he had found himself on, Keigo removed his hands from her slowly hovering near just in case she took a wrong step and fell. She was warm and inviting, surprisingly toned but thin and he had to fight the urge to want to touch her again. She stood back on her two feet, straightening out her clothes.

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Hawks," her voice caressing the name, she had called him that since he was wearing his hero outfit, "I can't wait to get to know you more."

She was referring to his quirk and fighting style, but he had hoped that it would be more than that. She hooked her arm around her father's and spun the big man around, waving to Keigo as they walked back up the stairs to get ready to talk to the principal of the school. He watched her leave, his eyes tracing her body; there was no helping it at this point, he was going to do everything in his power to convince Apollo to let him have her as a part time intern. He wanted, no, needed, to get to know her better and what better way to do that than to have her work with him?
