Gash Bell: The Battle of the Future - Chapter 1

It has been 1000 years after the battle for king took place in the early 2000s. Gash hasn't been going through a good time in his later years as King of the Demon World. He also needs to find someone worthy of passing down Bao to, since his body is becoming too wary to handle it anymore. But who? There's this one little girl who lives in an orphanage who may be the answer.

It has been 3000 years since the battle for king of the Demon World took place. Gash Bell was the winner of the tournament and since then has been the king for 1000 years and his time for king is coming to an end. The later years of Gash's life as king hasn't been kind to him. All of his friends and family from the time he was battling for king have since then died many years ago.

Gash has become a hermit in his later years. He's depressed and he doesn't spend too much time out of his palace. Gash's body is getting wary and he needs to find a new person to pass Bao down to before the next battle for king begins.

Meanwhile at an orphanage in the Demon World, there's this little 6 year girl named "Lis". Her real family died right after she was born. And throughout her whole life, she always wanted a real family.

Lis is a very powerful Demon, but she doesn't know it yet. She has very strong electric powers, and Gash senses that.

Gash in while in his palace, officially decides that she is the one who should hold the powers of Bao, since only because of her strength, but also because he senses how kind hearted she is.

So Gash leaves his palace for the first time in many years, and goes to the orphanage that Lis lives at. He knocks on the door, and when the orphanage owner opens, he says "hello" and then says "may I take a look around this orphanage?", in which the owner hesitantly says "yes". The owner is scared that the king is going to have the orphanage shut down due to the poor conditions that it's in.

Lis is in one of the bedrooms playing with dolls until Gash shows up. When Gash shows up, he says "Hello, little one, may I speak with you?". She was shocked that the king of all people wanted to talk to her, but she was also excited too.

Gash tells her about Bao, and why she needs to be the one to use it. He also asks her if she wants to join the upcoming battle for king competition, and tells her about why her powers could save the Demon World. She reluctantly agrees, and Gash puts his hand on her head and gives her Bao.

Many days later in the palace, a rich couple and their 6 year old daughter (the daughter is named "Terra") comes to the palace to talk to the king about her joining the battle for king competition. The wife is actually Tio's daughter, and Terra was is actually Tio's granddaughter. Tio in her teenage years started becoming a pop idol in the Demon World, and later in her adult years, she married her bodyguard, and then had children with him.

Terra deeply resembles her grandmother and has the same powers as her, and while she is kind, she can also be very bratty at times. Gash decides to let her join the competition.

It's been many days later, and now all of the contestants for the next Demon King has been chosen (including Lis and Terra). And now they are warped into the Human World.
