Just a random thought as lockdown is going on.
Ye tha surprise. Hope ki aap sabko pasand aye.
A person was sleeping on the bed. After having sufficient sleep he woke up. He washed his face with water and became fresh. He glanced at the clock. It was evening till now. He checked his cellphone. He saw the phone. It was powered off.
He : Ye phone bhi na. Ise bhi abhi band hona tha. Charging ko laga deta hu. Agar koi important call aa gayi to.
He took that cell phone and attached charger to it. He went to kitchen and then started to make tea for himself. He took out the pot , pour milk, water, tea and sugar in the pot. He switched on the gas burner. He was making tea and talking to himself.
He : Kitne dino ke baad itni achhi nind ayi. Kabhi kabhi chutti lena bhi achha hota hai warna time kaha milta hai khud ke liye. Bas aaj ka hi din hai chutti ka , kal se phir se cases , duty sab kuch shuru. Khali khali to lag hi raha hai. Adat jo ho gayi hai humesha kaam karne ki. Lekin achha lag raha hai. Waise kamal ki baat hi aaj ek bhi call nahi kiya kisi ne. Lagta hai mere bina hi sab kuch acche se sambhal liya hai team ne. Ha yahi hua hoga. Agar aisa hai to mahine me ekhade din chutti le sakta hu mai.
He was talking when noticed the liquid in the pot coming up. He took the strainer and poured tea in the cup. He took that cup and went inside the hall. He switched on the tv and started watching news on tv while sipping his tea.
He finished the tea , went to the kitchen , washed the cup and pot and kept to their respective places. He went again to hall and continued watching tv. Physically he was present inside the house but his mind was on the duty only.
His thinking :
Ek baar call karu acp sir ko. Sir shayad se busy honge case aa gaya hoga. Agar sir ko meri jarurat ho to. Aisa hota to shyad sir mujhe bula hi lete duty par. Magar sir ne mujhe call kiya ho to. Mobile to switched off ho gaya hai. Sir call karenge to bhi kaise ? Landline par kar sakte hai call. Agar call bhi kiya ho to mai to so gaya tha. Uthaya to nahi hi hoga phone. Landline par history bhi nahi dekh sakte. Off ho kitna confusion ho raha hai. Ek baar call kar hi leta hu sir ko tassali ho jayegi.
He went near the landline. He started dialing acp sir ' s number. He pressed the buttons one by one and put the receiver on his ear. Only the sound of beep beep beep came. He kept the the receiver back at the its place.
He : Ek baar phir se call karta hu.
He again took the telephone and started dialing acp sir ' s no again. Again the sound of beep echoed in his ears. He kept the phone back. He did this process for two to three times but the result was same.
He now came to conclusion that the phone was not in working condition.
He : Ab ye landline ko bhi kya ho gaya hai ? Chal kyu nahi raha hai ? Shayad se kharab ho gaya hai. Ab to telephone company ko hi call karna padega. Mobile se hi karna padega. Dekhta hu charging hui ki nahi.
He went near the socket and checked the mobile. Still the mobile was switched off. He tried to switch on the phone by pressing the button.
He : Itni der ho gayi hai. Abhi tak charging nahi hui. Thodi der aur rehne deta hu.
He kept that mobile at its previous position, again came back in hall. He switched off the tv which was still on. He glanced at the clock. It was 7 : 30 till now.
He : Abhi raat ke khaane ke liye to waqt hai. Thodi der ke liye book padhta hu. Kaha rakhi thi maine book ?
He started searching for the book. He looked the almarihes and finally came to a particular almarih and found the particular book.
He : Finally itni mehnat ki baad mil hi gayi.
He took that book and started reading the book. It was a suspense novel. He was engrossed in reading the novel. He did not knew about the time. Finally he realized the time when he felt hungry. He look at the clock saw the time. It was 9 :30 pm.
He : sade nau baj gaye. Waqt ka pata hi nahi chala. Kitni achhi book thi. Kitne dino se padhna chah raha tha book. Finally mauka hi mil gaya padhne ka. Thodasa baki hai. Rehne deta hu bhook lagi hai. Kuch bana lete hu. Uske baad phir se continue karunga.
He took the book , bookmarked the page he was reading and went inside the kitchen and started preparing for dinner. After some time dinner was made. He started taking his dinner. Finally after an hour , he was done with all the chores inside the kitchen. He went inside the living room and took the book, removed the bookmark and started reading the book from the same point from where he left. Finally he read the complete book.
He : Ho hi gayi padhna book. Kitne dino se padhne ki soch raha tha. Ab jake chain mila. Kitne baje hai.
He watched the clock. It was 11: 30 now.
He : Ek baar call kar hi leta hu sir ko. Ab tak to phone ki charging bhi ho gayi hogi. Dekh let hu.
He went to check the phone. He pressed the button of mobile. Finally the mobile started switching on.
The sound of the mobile while it switches on came and the mobile got switched on.
He : Shukar hai shuru to gaya phone. Chalo ab call lagata hu acp sir ko.
He took out the contacts and searched for the contact of acp sir. He find that particular contact and touched the green button of the call. The blank sound came and call got cut automatically.
He took mobile from the ear and looked at the screen. He again called the Acp sir ' s number. The result was same. He tried two three times but no effect. He checked for network in the mobile. Network symbol was showing 4 lines.
He : Network to hai magar call kyu nahi lag raha ? Ye network bhi na.
He kept the phone back on the table. He glanced at the clock. It was 11 : 45 pm. He went to kitchen and put the milk on the gas, took the hot milk and went back in the bedroom.
He : Abhi so jaata hu. Kal subah bureau wapas jaana hi hai. Tab dekh lunga jo bhi hoga.
He yawned and said " Ab to neend bhi aa rahi hai. "
He then went to bed and slept off. The next morning arose. He finished his daily chores and got ready. He took his phone, keys , batch and gun and now started moving towards the main door. His hands went to open the door. He tried to opened the door but the door was not opening. He tried once again but still the result was same. He tried various ways to open the door, but still the same result.
He : Ye darwaze ko kya hua hai ? Khul hi nahi raha.
