Hello there!
Been a hot minute since I've posted anything on here new in the RWBY Fandom.
So, this is a small story that will take place after The RPG Hunter meaning that you'll have to get some context from either the old version or the new one. Either way, it doesn't really matter.
What does matter is reading the Empire Of Darkness to get some context considering everything that happened.
Regardless, this is just a fun little story I decided to do.
With that being said, enjoy!
A Wolf-Fanaus man with short brown hair leaned back in his chair with a groan, he had a blonde beard, a pair of black glasses, a white dress shirt, a pair of blue dress pants, and a pair of black boots.
Draped on the chair was a green blazer, he usually wore this outfit when working at his company Crystal Square which he didn't exactly like but he wore it for the sake of looking nice.
He was tired right now, very tired. It's been a year since what happened with the Empire Of Darkness, the king has been doing well and the search for a suitable heir has been going well thus far.
The only problem is right now... he's sick of working.
Sure, he likes his job as a Hunter and being a Teacher at Beacon. Sure he doesn't mind being the owner of a Company and having to visit once or twice a month to do some things.
And sure, he doesn't mind being the Superintendent of Signal, he enjoys being that. He doesn't mind being Co-Head of the Gray Fang, the new group formed from the old peaceful ideas of the White Fang which is also known as the Salem Fang.
He doesn't mind looking into them either since they're starting to become a very worrying cult.
His name is Aaron Thompson Rose, and he's married to Ruby Rose. He's a famous Hunter, the guy with the Gamer, and generally the Hero of this world as of late.
The reason he's so stressed is that... all the work is starting to get to him, it's getting to Ruby also considering that she's been a lot angrier as of late.
He's been meaning to take some time off from everything.
"Sir?" He heard
He looked over and saw a young deer-Faunas, he looked nervous and seemed to be around twenty. He must be one of the secretaries that he had been hired last month.
Aaron straightened up in his chair and sighed, grabbing a cup of coffee that was on the desk soon after.
"Yes." He asked
"You've got those forms finished right?" The Deer Faunas asked
"Yep, right here." The Huntsmen said
He handed the secretary the forms and he nodded, he was about to leave but he looked at his boss confused.
"Sir, you seemed... stressed." He said
"Yes, I am... I've been working way too hard lately and have been meaning to take a vacation with my wife. Work's been getting on our nerves for a while now." Aaron explained, taking a sip of coffee
"Well sir, since you are very wealthy from... all of your ventures, jobs, and other things. I think you can afford to go to this place." The Deer-Faunas said, bringing out a pamphlet
Aaron raised an eyebrow before grabbing it, he opened it and looked inside. His eyes widening slightly upon reading it.
Want a relaxing vacation?
Then come to Solacium Island
It's a resort island made for couples such as you, it's a wonderful place for only adults to relax at.
Come enjoy our beaches, our luxury hotels, and our amazing and high-quality services!
We even have private beaches for those who want to be alone with their loved ones
Solacium Island, Live in Comfort and Revel in Pleasure.
He only read a short bit before looking at other things on it, it was pricy for most but he can afford it considering how he works. He looked at the employee with a small smile, he handed him back the pamphlet.
"That's a good idea, after I'm done with this. I'm taking my wife on vacation." Aaron said
"A good idea sir." The Deer-Faunas said
"Don't call me sir, it makes me feel old. Just call me Aaron or Mr. Rose if you prefer." Aaron said
"O-of course Mr. Rose." The Deer-Faunas said
"Don't mention it, thanks for bringing this up." Aaron said
The Faunas nodded and headed out of the room, the Huntsmen began to get back to the forms and other various pieces of paperwork. He was never a fan of paperwork but its important, so he has to do it.
"You want to go on vacation?" Ruby asked
Aaron nodded as he was laying down on the couch with her, they liked to snuggle sometimes and it was comfortable for the both of them. Plus Yang remarked it was cute that they did it so often.
"Yeah, we've been stressed and I figured... why not take some time to relax and get some breathing room from work." Aaron said
"I mean... yeah but... do you think we should do it?" Ruby asked
"Considering the fact that I'm wanting to jump into the ocean in order to scream into the void and kill some Grimm while you really want to kick a few criminals ass's to the point where they need to get surgery. Yes, definitely." Aaron said
Ruby smiled and pecked him on the lips.
"Good point, when are we going?" She asked
"Next week." Aaron said
"Alright, are we using a private beach?" Ruby said
"Got an entire area." Aaron said with a grin
"How long are we going to be there?" Ruby asked
"Four weeks." Aaron said simply
Ruby looked at him with a sultry grin and wrapped her arms around his neck, looking straight into his eyes.
"Wouldn't expect any less from you." She said
"Hey, it's go big or go home sometimes." Aaron said with a shrug
The two kissed again and went back to laying on the couch, happily together in their company.
One Week later
Aaron and Ruby were getting onto World Runner Omega, which turns out vehicles such as those were allowed for that kind of use if they bought a private area. They were glad to have checked over everything, plus airports were annoying to get through.
No matter what world anyone is, airports were a pain.
Aaron was wearing a green open shirt with a pair of blue shorts, he some clip-on sunglasses over his normal glasses. He grabbed the key and turned it, activating the small airship.
He looked at his wife, who was wearing a red summer dress with a big sunhat on her head.
"Ready?" He asked
"Bags are already inside." Ruby said
He nodded, they then drove off towards the island. They knew where the coordinates were since they were provided after paying for the trip, they knew who Aaron was and were happy to do so.
Turns out there is quite a lot of people who knew him for his deeds and not just as a company owner or the guy who took down Jacques.
Regardless, after an hour, they arrived at the private area of the island they paid for. They landed at the helipad spot and got out, bags in hand.
It was a giant house, almost like a big summer home. The beach was beautiful, the sun was out, and it was a good day for a vacation.
Aaron looked at Ruby.
"Already I like this place." He said
"Yeah, let's get this vacation started!" Ruby said
She then ran forward into the building, Aaron chuckled to himself as he followed along. He was glad to have married her, she's beautiful and kind, and honestly the most wonderful person he could have ever married.
She's the one who motivates him to do things sometimes, the other times it's either he's pissed or he has to do it because of reasons. So, she's the one who keeps him going.
And he doesn't mind that at all.
Two hours later
Aaron was swimming around in the water, the area has anti-Grimm measures meaning its safe to swim in the water without fear of some random Grimm attacking. Ruby was on the beach reading a book under the shade, she doesn't mind playing around on the beach but she likes to relax also.
Plus, the reason why The Gamer was swimming was that he wanted to get some exercise in since he was starting to slack a little. Sure he's off duty but that doesn't mean he needs to keep being fit.
He stopped swimming and went back the coast, he walked over to where Ruby was and sat down nearby her on a towel of his own. He looked up at the bright blue sky as he enjoyed the light all around.
"Man... it's so nice not having to be on duty and have to worry about ANOTHER Roman copycat doing something stupid. I'm surprised nobody has been able to copy him perfectly." Aaron said
"Well, he does have his own charm. Plus, not very many people know how to be Roman." Ruby said
"Right... so how's the book?" Aaron asked
"Eh, a little boring. Plot's not really picking up, I'm figuring just going for a nap in the sun." Ruby said
Aaron looked at her with a teasing look on his face.
"Taking notes from Blake eh~?" Aaron teased
"Shut up, get some sunscreen on me." Ruby said
"As you wish but you've gotta do the same to me~." Aaron flirted
Neither of them actually put on any sunscreen in that moment. They were glad to be alone, they could call this a honeymoon but they traveled all over Remnant for that one.
It was nice and romantic, the usual kind of thing you can expect.
Aaron breathed out in relaxation as he laid back in a hammock, he's always been the type to relax in these sorts of things. He's happy to be able to sit down, be with his wife, and not doing anything for a moment.
It was relaxing being able to just breathe without the worry of another random assassin trying to kill him for the Salem Fang. It's still very much concerning but it didn't matter considering everything.
He hasn't had any calls, he told everyone about his vacation with Ruby and they've decided not to disturb them during this time which was nice of them to do considering this long peace they have. In fact, after what happened with Salem and the Grimm, people have been calling it 'The Great Peace' despite the war that almost happened. They still choose to call it that.
Regardless, it makes sense to call it that. There hasn't been anything notable going on, no big bads to fight, no giant monsters to kill besides a few Stray Grimm, no giant overarching journey.
It's been a relaxing time, every since racism has gone down and people haven't had the need to worry about things. It's been mainly positive meaning the Grimm aren't as bent on killing everyone since they can't seem to sense them with the overwhelming amount of energy.
People have been especially happy since Mt. Glenn was restored, Aaron had funded the endeavor and had made sure that it would be safe. It took a while to clear out but they managed to get it back.
It was called 'The Ozma Project' after Ozpin who had suggested the idea and put his team along with many others and his company into place. The Gamer didn't really care about the fame anyway. All he cared about was getting the place restored since the Grimm wasn't a problem. There was even a small statue of him in a park holding a flag on top of a Grimm with a stoic look.
He liked the statue, it was one of his favorites of that place.
"Hey Aaron... we've been here for two weeks now." Ruby said
"Yep." Aaron said
"And... you know... since we've had a bit of time to relax... I've been thinking about... the future." Ruby said
Aaron got slightly worried and sat up to look at her, she noticed this and waved her hands quickly.
"It's not what your thinking. I'm happy with our marriage... it's just... I really want to-"
"Have kids?" Aaron asked
"Yeah." Ruby said
Aaron sat there for a few moments, he sighed and got up. He grabbed Ruby and held her in his arms, walking to the bedroom. He grinned at her with a glint in his eyes.
"I think I can finally get that done." He said
"...Meep." Ruby said
He opened the door and that night... she had the greatest time of her life, she lost count of how long they went at it.
She may have trouble walking around in the morning but she does not give a fuck at all about that.
She's just happy to be pleasured by her husband, that, she'll very much enjoy.
Two weeks later
Aaron and Ruby were heading back, suitably relaxed and happy with their lives. Though they did have to check whether Ruby got pregnant or not since she does want to have kids as mentioned before.
Ruby looked suitably happy with a wobbly and relaxed smile on her face, a part of her mind was shrieking about how she had managed to spend two weeks having sex with her husband.
The rest was not responding in her delirious state.
Aaron meanwhile chuckled to himself.
"Guess I went overboard." He said
He sighed as he smiled to himself, he was gonna be happy to be a dad. If it was son, he'd be happy but if it was a daughter.
He stiffened upon thinking that, he didn't think that far ahead. He then got an evil glint in his eyes.
"She'll be beautiful like her mother. Boys will go after her... I have to get the Hero's Blade ready for such an event." He muttered to himself
Safe to say, any boy who would try to court his daughter would be terrified if he didn't like them or trust them. And Gods forbid that they violate her, they'd probably get a fate worse then death.
Regardless, Aaron brushed those thoughts aside and focused on driving back.
All in all, a great vacation.
And it's over!
I'll see you guys in the Fandom.
(There will be many more stories after this, just you wait)
