I thought I should write something for April Fools since I have an idea for it. What happens if Yang takes a joke too far?

"Hmm," Ruby hums while scrolling through her scroll. Her eyes darts back and forth across the screen. "Nope," she closes the tab and opens a new search.

"Hey, whatcha doin'?" Yang barge into the kitchen to see her sister focused on her scroll.

"Oh, hi, Yang. I feel tired these days, and since it's almost dinner time, I want to make something healthy."

"I think I can help with that!" Yang smiles before running to her room. She rumbles through her drawer before pulling out a small bottle and runs back into the kitchen. "Here," she gives Ruby the bottle, "a few drops of these babies you will have energy like an elephant!"

Ruby looks at the bottle then at Yang, "Why an elephant?"

"Why, not?"

"Huh? Alright, I should start dinner." Ruby turns on the stove and opens the refrigerator.

As Ruby gets busy, Blake enters the kitchen. "Hey, what are you cooking, Ruby? Can you make another portion for me?"

"No!" Yang grabs Blake's arm and pulls her away from the kitchen counter. "We uh, plan to eat out!"

"We did?" Blake tilts her head.

"Yes! Let's go!" Yang exits the kitchen. Blake shrugs and follows after Yang.

"Be safe!" Ruby calls out to the two as she beings cooking fish.

"We will!" Yang said before a loud door slam shut.

A while later, Ruby hears the door unlock and open. She removes her apron and rushes to the door. At the entrance, a snow white-haired woman taking off her boots.

"Welcome back, Weiss!" Ruby cheers.

Weiss turns around to meet the jolly girl, "Hi Ruby." Noticeable dark bags underline Weiss's bloodshot eyes. Her face appears sour and bitter. "Let me shower first before talking about your day." She stands up, slouching, yawning, and rubbing her eyes.

"Wait!" Ruby grabs Weiss's hand with both of hers. "I think we should have dinner first." She looks seriously into Weiss's eyes.

Weiss was about to retaliate first, but after meeting Ruby's puppy eyes, she sighs. "Alright." Ruby jumps in excitement and hugs Weiss tightly before pulling her into the dining room. "This is..."

"I made all your favorites!" Ruby smiles brightly, hugging Weiss's arm.

"Thanks, Ruby, " Weiss returns the smile and sits down on the table. Weiss eats while Ruby smiles happily and rests her chin on her palm. Suddenly a spoon drops to the floor.

"Weiss?"

Weiss grabs her chest and beings panting heavily. "R-Ruby w-what did you put i-inside?"

"W-what? I swear everything is fresh and healthy!" Ruby panics, then her brain clicks. "Yang gave me something! I-I didn't know how much I should put in! I thought I added a reasonable amount! W-what should I do? S-should I call an ambulance? Weiss, what should-" Before Ruby finishes, Weiss pushes her to the ground. "Weiss?!"

Hearts fill Weiss's eyes as she pins Ruby by her wrist. Her ears and cheeks flush red. Weiss's face was so close to Ruby's that Ruby feels Weiss's breath. Weiss steals Ruby's lips. "Hmmph!" Ruby tries to shake Weiss away. "Mmm?! Mmmm! Mmmmmm..."

A while later.

"WE ARE BACK!" Yang yells after bursting through the door. She enters the living room to see the back of Weiss's head, watching TV.

"Oh, welcome back," Weiss turns around, her face shines, clear from any exhaustion.

"Whoa! What happened to you? You were so tired yesterday, and yet you look so refreshed today." Yang questions.

"Hmm, I guess it's because I had a good meal." Weiss licks her lips slyly.

"Oh, by the way. Ruby April Fools!" Yangs laugh at her sister.

Ruby shakily raises her hand as she lays on the couch, her body twitching. "M-my back..."

I hope you enjoyed it!
