In the city of sins, a young man wearing casual clothes can be seen casually strolling into the high-end casino, but the guards did not dare to stop him as they knew very well that the young man was not someone to be messed with,

The young man slowly walked up the stair and sat before a table, on the other side of the table was a man with a bald head and a smirk on his face, then the young man took a leisurely position and started to talk,

"What do you want Luthor?"

"Come now, Alek, is that any way to say hello to your clients?"

"If you are trying to go for pleasantries, then don't, give me the assignment and the payment and I will see if it's worth my time" the young man called Alek sai as the bald man still had a smile, although it did not reach his eyes, he slowly took out a file and threw it in front of Alek,

"I receive a report a few minutes ago from one of my investments that a group of sidekicks had broken into my facility and had released one of my prototypes weapons, your objective is to bring it back and make sure you wipe out all the evidence of the project and the source, your payment will be the usual, 10 million dollars, cash, and one of our latest weapon systems," Luthor said as Alek took the file and started to read, only to raise an eyebrow and look at Luthor,

"I seriously hope that you did not try to clone me too because you would not like it if i find out you did," Alek said as Luthor shook his head,

"It's not that we didn't try to clone you, the fact is that your powers originate from your very DNA, making it so that any genetic samples we may have would end up killing our researchers, that is an investment I do not like, so we left that project behind in favor of Project Kr," he said as Alek got up and disappeared as if he was never there, to begin with, leaving behind a smiling Luthor,

"Such power and you do not use them for the greater good like those goody-two-shoes Justice League, that's why I like you better than any other freelancers in the field" he mumbled as he savored his wine,

Alek got back to his apartment thanks to his teleportation ability and started to pack his bags with the essentials he would need on his next mission, he also put on a black suit that completely covered all his features including his vibrant purple eyes and deep black hair,

As soon as he took all his essentials, he teleported away to the location of his assignment,

He looked around the facility and sighed, memories of the time he had first arrived on this world came to him clearly,

He had awoken in a lab similar to this that was experimenting with warp technology which had accidentally opened up a portal to his world and sucked him in, at first, he was afraid that the humans would treat him in the same way they did in his own reality, with prejudice, for he was a mutant, but surprisingly, he found out that the world was already comfortable with the idea of a superpowered individual roaming around among them, some of them were even called as heroes, but he was no kid so he knew that there always exists a flip side, a bad to every good, so he disappeared before the personnel from what he later came to know as S.T.A.R Labs could get a hold of him, it was in times like these that he was glad for his unique ability to have multiple mutations,

He had a level 4 teleportation ability that was slightly different from the normal ones, a level 5 density manipulation ability and a level 3 time manipulation ability, and a level 2 regeneration ability, back in his world, mutants were divided into five levels with the fifth one being the most powerful,

Thanks to his abilities, he had managed to evade a resident superhero called as the Flash before he escaped to Gotham city, it was here that he began his career as an agent for hire, he did many shady things but he did not care, after all, he had already lost everything he held dear so he cared not for this world or its people,

Alek walked towards the security room and accessed it with the key card he had received from Luthor, inside, he watched as a group of teenagers freed project Kr and escaped with him as Desmont tried to stop them, as soon as the children left the room he teleported to the room and started to set C4 charges all around the lab and at the same time downloaded all of the information from the computers in the room, once the data transfer was complete, he blinked away just as the group of kids came back into the room and saw the charges,

"GET DOWN!" the kid in red and black costume shouted as the other three ducked behind the walls just in time to escape the blast that destroyed any and all evidence of project Kr,

"I have destroyed the lab and got rid of the evidence, however, the prototype escaped with the group of sidekicks you mentioned about," Alek said as he handed over the data drive to Lex Luthor who gave a smirk and said,

"It does not matter if the prototype escapes, I already have contingencies in place, once again you performed splendidly as expected, here, your payment," he said as he pushed forward a bag with money and a few high tech-looking weapons, Alek silently took his payment and blinked away to his home,
