Gotham to Great Lakes
Chapter 1
R and X
So, this story is one I'm surprised nobody has done something like this and I figured I'd give it a shot. So, I hope to this with flashbacks to Lincoln's time as a Robin connecting to a case as Red X. Sort of like Arrow before it became the Felicity Smoke show. With that said... Let's kick it up!

A red dusk set in the sky above the as a young white haired man around the age of seventeen clad in an orange shirt, a black jacket, dark jeans, and black boots walked through an as of yet unfurnished loft.
"Yeah, Alfred, I just got in. Uh huh. Yeah, I'll go shopping for some furniture in the morning." The young man said over the phone, trying to appease the worries of the man on the other end as he approached the window of the loft at the sun fully went down and the sheet of darkness overtook the sky. "Sorry Alfred. But I gotta go to work. Say hi to Bruce, Selena and Damian for me. Bye." He said before hanging up his phone and walking over to a high tech chest before pressing his hand to it as it was scanned and opened "Okay. Time to start again." He said to himself before placing his hand on the contents of the case
(Flashback)
Seven years before arriving in Great Lakes, the white haired boy sat in the back of a bus with the hood of his hoodie covering his slightly bruised face. After several hours of sparse sleep, the bus arrived under the dark skies of Gotham city before the boy got off while adjusting the backpack he was carrying to keep weight off of his right shoulder.
"Alright. I'm away from them. Now what?" He asked himself before he began walking.
After several hours of aimless walking. The boy found himself walking past a disheveled building before hearing a commotion inside. Curious, he climbed up on a dumpster and looked inside to see four men with a fifth man who was horribly scared on one half of his body who was clad in a suit that was black on one side and white on the other. But that's not the man in the room who caught the attention of the boy. It was a man in a dark grey suit that had a deep navy cowl and cape and a yellow oval connected to the cowl that has a black Bat painted in the middle. The boy then looked to see two more thugs standing by a table that had a dark yellow belt with the Bat logo molded in to the buckle.
"Oh no." The boy gasped out before docking down and putting his back against the wall. "Okay Lincoln. Calm That's Two-Face and Batman. Batman is in trouble Batman needs help. Batman... needs help." The boy said, the full weight of the words hitting as a determined came to his face before he reached inside his backpack to pull out a trowel and a bandana. Before climbing through the window and sneaking up on the two between the belt before hitting them as hard as he could, knocking them out before The other four goons and Two-Face himself turned to see Lincoln.
One of the thugs quickly ran towards Lincoln only for him to slide under the table and flip it so the belt was tossed from it and hit the thug in the face before in shocked him. Lincoln was then grabbed from behind by another thug before having the stock of a gun slammed in to his face, knocking him out cold.

The moonlight illuminated the rooftops of Great Lakes as a shadowy figure with a capes that had several rips and holes near and at the bottom jumped and glided across them before coming to a halt across from a four story building with a red sign on the side of it that read 'Casagrande Market.'
Outside of the market, a young Hispanic girl wearing a black jacket and a purple shirt that showed off her well toned stomach. The girl was soon approached by a man with a thin beard wearing a green jacket who was walking next to a blond woman wearing a blue shirt and brown pants, the sight to whom caused a white armored hand with three spikes on the forearm and a red X on the back to clench so hard that the knuckles began to pop.
(Flashback)
Lincoln walked inside of a small slightly beat up two story house after having a really bad day at school before having a glass thrown at him, cutting him slightly.
"Ow what the heck?" Lincoln asked before being punched in the gut.
"You little idiot! I got D on my last test because you told Lisa 'not be so smart'!" The blonde girl, putting a mocking tone on the last part before stomping off in a huff.
Lincoln then looked up to see two adults doing finances, stressed at how much trouble they were having without their usual aid before he stood up before stumbling up the stairs before walking in to a small room before pulling out a first aid kit and taking off his shirt to reveal a series of bruises he had accumulated over the past couple days from the siblings of kindergarten students who had gotten strep throat... and their teacher.
It took Lincoln little time to bandage the cut on sadly, he had grown use to treating many kinds of wounds caused to him by his eldest sister Lori losing her temper, his 'comedian' sister, Luan's Jigsaw esc 'pranks', and the 'roughhousing' of his sporty sister, Lynn. He didn't mind though. Lincoln alway had a protective streak and he figured the more punishment he took, the less his younger sisters had to. But now, it seemed as if the entire town of Royal Woods had started pounding on him because how much of how they relied on his super genius younger sister, Lisa. All because he had felt that she had been making his life harder when she was moved up to his grade.
"I gotta get this to stop." Lincoln said while icing one of his bruises. "Maybe if I explain to Lisa that she's over correcting with her whole dude bro act, she'll find a bit of a balance. He thought before getting up to go and talk to her. However, as he arrived at her room, things took a turn.
"Wait a second. You're just doing this whole dumb thing just to mess with Lincoln?" Asked a young voice before Lincoln looked inside the room to see a girl in a green sweater talking to a girl in a pink gown.
"Indeed, Lola. This should teach our elder brother to under value my intellect." Lisa replied before letting out a small laugh along with Lola.
Lincoln's teeth and fists clenched. All these years of making sure his younger sisters safe and now they laughed at his suffering. A million different ideas rushed through his head on what to do. But only one really made sense to him. One that would ensure that damnable town would never hurt him again.

The caped figure arrived at an abandoned building that had a sign outside of it that read 'purchased by Wayne Enterprises. He then entered the building before walking in to the back office before a portion of his gauntlet opened and he pressed in a button on as a part of the floor lowered and he found himself in a bunker that had a large computer, a wall filled with various throwing and melee weapons, and three vehicles. One, a black car with the front two wheels set out far in front of the inside with red mechanisms along it and red Xs inside rims of the wheels, a black motorcycle with a large red X on the front and Xs in the rims of wheels, and a black jet with red X designs on the wings.
"He. Bruce really went all out with place. I'll have to thank him next time a visit." The figure said through a voice modulator before climbing on bike and driving through a tunnel that had several different splits in it that opened and closed as he drove through them before surfacing in an ally and driving on to the streets.
(Flashback)
It was five weeks after Lincoln arrived in Gotham and Batman was at a reservoir standing off with a man in a burlap suit, a long black coat, a noose around his neck and a glove with large syringes for fingers on his right hand who was holding a small bag.
"Put the bag on the floor, Scarecrow." Batman said to the man.
"Sorry, Batman. But I am in need of money for my research and if the city want Founders Island to be livable, they'll have to pay me." Scarecrow said before he threw the bag only for it go the other way and be pinned to a wall by a bird shaped shuriken, causing Scarecrow to look up. "Not another one!" He exclaimed as he looked up at a boy wearing a garnet suit with pine gloves, a pine cape that was dark grey on the inside, a silver belt, and a silver R on the left peck who. The boy then jumped from the ledge he was on as his cape folded out and he glided down at Scarecrow.

A young woman of asian decent clad in a blue jacket and and blue jacket was walking down the street on her way home and decided to cut through an ally before suddenly being pushed up against a wall and had a knife place a couple inches from her.
"Wallet now." The man holding the knife ordered. Suddenly, a red X style shurriken came out of the shadows and knocked the knife out of the man's hand before he looked to see a man wearing a black armored suit with, in addition to the gauntlets and cape, a large red X on the left side of the chest piece, white boots, a white belt with a red X on the buckle, red lines forming a rectangle around his ribs, and a black helmet the top half of which was designed to look like the top half of a skull with red eyes.
The armored man the quickly pull out a pistol-like device with a red claw at the end that then shot out while attached to a cable and grabbed on to the mugger's chest as he he was pulled towards the armored man before being spin kicked in the face before being slammed against a wall himself with the armored man's arm against his throat.
"Now. Let me make myself clear. If you go anywhere in this city, threatening innocent people, I will find you. Great Lakes is under the protection of Red X now." The armored man said before knocking the mugger out and cuffing him to a pipe before turning to the girl. "Are you alright?" He asked, gaining a nod from the girl. "Good. Call the Police. Have them take you home." Red X said before walking out of the ally and signaling for his bike to auto drive to his location before he got on and drove in to the night.

Well, there you go guys. I hope you enjoyed the opening chapter. Now, to answer a question thats going to be asked.
