Hi guys, I'm just working in this as a hobby, I will mostly likely update weekly. This is the start so far.
Marceline was staring at her roof, tears filling her eyes. "Why? Why is this happening?!" Old photos of her and Bonny were scattered on the floor, with an overflowing bin at her feet. "Why isn't my love reciprocated? Why doesn't she love anyone?" Marceline ran to her bed, crying. She thought back to her first few decades with Bonny, when her love was first realised. She used to tell Bonny she loved her, but, she knew Bonny always assumed it was platonically. Over the course of many year, Marceline would lie awake, trying to figure out what was wrong with her. At first it was easy to hide as it was just a crush, but over the years her feelings grew. She was in love, with her best friend.

"Princess Bubblegum!" Peppermint butler yelled.
"Pepps, I'm busy." She murmured in reply.
Princess Bubblegum was lying on her couch reading. The book which she so often flicked through to cure boredom was titled "The Chemical Formulas of Love". Though, today she wasn't reading it to cure boredom, she was reading it to find answers. She had, in fact, decided she must marry Finn. There was not a doubt in her mind that she liked Finn. Why wouldn't she? He was a perfect suitor for a fine princess. She had been warned that if she didn't marry soon, a terrible disease would break out among the kingdom and though she was a skeptic, she couldn't risk it. Peppermint butler entered the room. "Finn is here to see you, your majesty."
"Bring him in." Luckily, everyone knew that Finn loved the princess, it made matters much easier on her part. All she had to do was propose. Finn came bolting up the stairs. "Princess! Princess! Flame Princess and I just got engaged!" Finn yelled with a large grin plastered on his face. "Oh, that- that's great." Princess Bubblegum said half-heartedly. "I'll be Flame prince!" Princess Bubblegum didn't know what to say. "Finn, I'm a bit busy right now, and though I'm delighted to hear about your engagement, I have some business to return to." She ran to her lab, sobbing.

Marceline looked at the time, it was 6:43pm. Just enough time to tell Bonny her true feelings. Marceline flew over to the candy kingdom.
The door was open to Bonnys lab, she edged closer but a noise echoed through the corridor. It was crying, not just any crying, it was Bonnibel Bubblegum crying. A million thoughts raced through Marceline head, none of them were good. Without thinking, Marceline entered the lab, it was dark and the echoes of Bubblegum's cries gave it an eerie atmosphere. "Bonny, are you okay?" She asked. She heard the cries momentarily cease, "I'm fine Marceline." She said. It was an obvious lie. As Marceline walked towards the couch in the far corner of the lab, she spotted the silhouette of Bonnibel's body, hunched over a desk, on her chair. A book lay open on her desk the words 'The Chemical Formulas of Love' were boldly written on the top of each page. Marceline tentatively reached out her hand to stroke Bonny's hair. "Hey, it's okay Bonny." She said, trying to soothe her. Marceline pulled up a chair so that she could sit next to Bonny, and with her free hand, she intwined her fingers in the princesses. "It'll be okay." Marceline whispered. Situations like these were always too much for her, she hated hiding her feelings like this. "It'll be okay." Marceline whispered, trying to console the princess. Marceline never struggled with anything but talking to Bonnibel flustered her so easily, she just couldn't hide her feelings. "You don't understand Marceline, you just don't... understand. You get to live your life, do what you want. I want that freedom, I wish I could just be me again. I wish you and I could just go on adventures again, like we used to." Marceline chuckled. "What are you laughing at? I'm over here crying and you are having a merry old time." Marceline couldn't contain herself, she started laughing again. "Bonny, the reason I came over here in the first place was to invite you on a holiday, you've been working so hard lately and we've barely got to spend any time together, I've missed you." Bonny smiled at Marceline words, lightin up the otherwise dark lab.
