Welcome everyone. First time writing in this fandom so I hope you will not judge to harshly. With all the negativity going on with SuperCorp on the show I wanted to write an alternate universe path those to could have taken. There will be time jumps in the first few chapters, but things will be explained soon. If this is something people are interested in, I will keep it rolling. This is a SuperCorp pairing and Diana our favorite Amazon will be a big part of the story, not in a romantic sense. Let me know what you think in the reviews!

Chapter 1 First meetings
Clark had finally reached Midvale in the air with Kara, her backpack strapped to her. The day before, his very young, blonde cousin had arrived or crashed on Earth. His knowledge of the Kryptonian language was limited but he managed to piece together enough to know what had happened and why she had come.
It was tragic. Kara should have arrived when he did, but from her story, Clark was beginning to think her pod may have been knocked off course into the Phantom Zone. She barely remembered anything after leaving the planet, only the bright light of the destruction, the force of the shockwave that struck, disabling her pod's engine then falling into stasis and not waking until her ship activated and began the very fast trip to Earth.
Luckily, he was flying near California and Bruce had called him with the information that a possible alien ship had landed. He was the first to arrive and recognized the Kryptonian technology immediately. The man took the little girl in his arms and flew far away, landing on a small mountain top, to speak to her.
What he found out was disturbing. She had been sent to protect him and, in her mind, failed. Kara cried when talking about her home, and it became obvious quickly that unlike Clark, Kara was not growing into her powers gradually.
She would need so much help.
He recognized it was help he could not give her. Taking her to Kent Farm, raising her, helping control her powers, her grief, her integration into Earth life and blending in with humans, was not possible. At least not possible if he wanted to continue being Superman and he felt strongly that the world needed Superman.
Finally flying both to his Smallville farm, he tried to speak to her at length, to explain what the Earth was like and his role in keeping it safe. Though he hoped to hint that he may not be the best for her, it failed. The longer he spoke, the more obvious it became that she fully expected to stay with him. Despite not being there for him as he grew, Kara still felt it was her duty to teach him about his Kryptonian heritage. The idea of leaving her blood bond behind was unthinkable.
A long talk over the phone with Lois left him with no more answers. Lois felt it was important to take care of the girl but also recognized Clark's difficulties. Being parents was something neither considered this early into their relationship, especially to a traumatized Kryptonian teenager who could not speak the language or control her powers. A small apartment in Metropolis was not the ideal setting and trying to integrate a girl her age into the small-town mindset of Smallville didn't seem the best plan either.
Kara had sat in the living room listening to Kal El, listening to the tone of his speech at least. Earlier she had felt overwhelming failure and depression but though she did not speak English, she knew her future was being discussed by Kal El with some woman named Lois who was not Kryptonian and this angered her. In her mind this should not be a difficult decision. They were the last of not only their house but their species and should stick together.
When her cousin told her in his broken Kryptonian that he had found a family willing to take her in, she stayed quiet, pushed her anger down. There were many things she wanted to say to him, but she kept them to herself. Apparently growing up on Earth as a human had taught him nothing about blood bonds.
He bought her a few outfits and sneakers to blend in, as well as a backpack, then took her in his arms and flew towards the Danvers family.
He had expected the Danvers to be waiting for him in their backyard where they had said they would be.
Instead he found her, leaning against her silver Mercedes in a fashionable tan leather jacket, designer blue jeans and matching tan boots over her jeans. She had her arms crossed a stony expression on her face. A quick look with X Ray showed the Danvers were not there.
He and Kara approached her slowly, the man wary of the look on his friend's face and Kara fascinated by the sight of the brunette. Clark knew Kara was not happy about being sent to another family and no reasoning in his broken Kryptonian dialect would change that. She had not spoken since they left Smallville. Perhaps introducing her to someone with as kind a disposition as Diana would allow Kara to open up a bit more.
"Diana." Clark greeted her. "I'm surprised to see you here."
Diana stood tall and walked closer to the man, her arms still crossed and a now disappointed look on her face.
"Bruce told me about your plan. He wasn't sold on it and to be honest I am became quite angry. You have made questionable decisions in your past, but this must be one of your dumbest."
Clark took a deep breath. He had thought of nothing else since Kara landed and this was the best option he had if he wanted Kara to have some chance at a normal life.
"They helped me before. They understand Kryptonian powers…"
"They are humans with a teenage daughter!" Diana snapped. "Kara is not human, unlike you, and never will be. She would have to hide her powers here, do everything she can to deny who she truly is. You cannot, will not, leave her here."
Clark clenched his jaw and held onto his temper. "That isn't your call to make, Diana. I am her family…"
Diana raised her hand, stopping the man before he said something that would get him hit. "If you were her family you would not leave her to others, try to force her to be something she is not."
Clark shook his head, frustrated and wishing very badly that Diana was not here and making him feel worse than he already did. "Where are Jeremiah and Eliza?"
Diana smirked. "I suggested they take a trip to National City so I could talk to you alone. I suppose they guessed who I was easily enough and agreed. You know you will be putting them in danger as well if you leave Kara with them. It will not take the Government long to find her. The DEO suspects their former connection to you. This would give Henshaw the leverage he needs to force them into his service. Do you want this family at risk? Have you given any thought to how this will affect them?"
Clark's face reddened. Yes, the DEO would be interested in Kara, might track her but not if she maintained a low profile. "You certainly don't hide your identity, yet the Government does not come after you." He pointed out.
"Because I am not afraid to be who I am, and I fear no man. Henshaw knows this as well as any other who is fool enough to come after me." Diana told him.
"I can't be who I am and give her what she needs!" Clark snapped.
Diana stared at the man for a moment. "She is coming with me." The Amazon decided, though she had made her mind up long before her trip to Midvale.
Clark was taken back by this. How would Kara growing up in Paris and being the ward of another superhero, help Kara have a normal life. Unless…
"You want to take her to Themyscira, don't you? You want to leave her with your Mother."
Diana stepped by him and took in the wide-eyed blonde watching her with big blue eyes. "My Mother visited this world a decade ago. She took in a mortal orphan and brought her back to Themyscira. Before she left, she gave me an artifact, an ancient star map, one that allows me to find Themyscira should I wish to return home. I will not leave Kara with my Mother. She will be mine, my responsibility, my family. She will be surrounded by beauty, surrounded by brave, strong women, educated better than these human institutions could possibly provide. Can the Danvers offer the same?"
Clark realized there was more to this though. "You want to take her to the one place I can never see her again."
"I will take her to a place you cannot drop in and visit when it suits you if that is what you mean. That is your desire, correct? Appease your guilt by telling yourself you are not abandoning her and not think about the danger you will place the Danvers in by visiting occasionally. I will take her to the one place she can fit in and not have to hide who she truly is, nurture her gifts and teach her control over her mind and body. I will take her to a place she can be happy. She will live in a palace, treated as Amazon royalty, never be afraid of anything or anyone. I ask you again, can the Danvers offer the same?"
Clark recognized the wisdom in her words but if Kara went to Themyscira there was a strong possibility he would never see her again. Not even Diana could find the way to Themyscira for over a century since she left. Now she had an artifact that could show her the way, but she had stayed in the world of man, helped protect the innocent, battle injustice. She was a major part of the Justice League. There would be no Justice League if not for her and Bruce.
"You wouldn't come back, would you?" Clark realized. "The world needs you, Diana."
"This girl needs me. I owe this world nothing. I never did. That is one of the many things my Mother taught me though I didn't listen. I stayed because I could make a difference, perhaps show mankind a better way, protect them when they could not protect themselves. However, after a century of watching what this world has become it is obvious nothing I do will make a difference here. There are more ways to make a difference than fighting mankind's battles for them constantly." Diana pointed out, then kneeled in front of Kara.
"Diana…" Clark started before Diana raised her hand, silencing him.
"Let's ask her. It is her life after all." The woman suggested. "Hello, Kara. My name is Diana. This world must be very strange to you. How are you doing? I know you must be frightened." she asked in perfect Kryptonese.
The young girl's beautiful blue eyes grew larger and she smiled widely for the first time since she landed. "You speak my language? Are you Kryptonian?"
Diana shook her head slightly. "No, nor am I human. I am from this Earth but I am also…different, like you. I am very good with languages. I reviewed the Kryptonian alphabet that Kal El knew then read the Book of Rao in his possession and easily picked up the language. I find it to be a beautiful dialect."
"Your accent is better than his." Kara told her, surprised at this development. "You are not human?"
Diana smiled warmly at the girl. "I am of a race called the Amazons. I live on a magical island filled with thousands of brave women. Even among them I am different, like you. I know what it is to be strong, fast, skilled with various powers like you are. I have had many years to control these gifts, and you have only had a couple days. Are you having a difficult time controlling your new gifts?"
Kara nodded. "I see…skeletons sometimes and my eyes feel like they are on fire when I am angry. I break everything I touch."
Diana understood and was not surprised. She remembered the first time her true strength appeared during a fight with her aunt. It had terrified her when she realized what she was capable of. "I can teach you to control these powers, to use them or not use them as you wish. My home is called Themyscira. My Mother is the Queen of our people. I would like you to come with me to live there. The island is impossible to find by humans. You would live with me in a palace, surrounded by love and those who would accept you as our own. Is that something you would be interested in, being with thousands of sisters who are loyal to each other above all else? To not have to hide who you are in the world of men?"
Kara looked over Diana's shoulder and took in Kal El who was watching the two intently.
"My blood does not want me. Why would you?"
"Blood means nothing on this planet. Family is who you choose. I would choose you if you would allow it. I know what it means to feel out of place. I am different than my sisters. I know how it feels to believe you do not belong. I promise you will always feel you belong with me, always. Do you wish to come? It is your choice, after all. I would like to be your family, if you would allow me too."
Kara looked at her cousin once again. "Will Kal El come to see me there?"
Diana shook her head. "Once we are there…the island does not allow men, or outsiders to walk its sacred ground. You may be there for thousands of years or for as little as you want. We may return here if you wish but he would not be allowed to visit you there."
Kara narrowed her eyes at her cousin, the blood bond who had done nothing but try to abandon her since she arrived. Now a beautiful woman, different like her, was offering to take her to a magical island and live in a palace, surrounded by beauty and knowledge, offering to help her control these powers that were beginning to overwhelm her.
"I wish to go with you, if you will have me." Kara said. "He has the Book of Rao yet cares nothing for blood bonds. I choose you."
Diana smiled and placed a hand on the girl's cheek. "Thank you, Kara. That makes me very happy. Place your backpack in my car. The journey to Themyscira will not be easy for you. We must travel to National City and take a flight to Greece then we will sail to our home. The noise will be difficult, but we will get through it together, okay?"
Kara smiled and moved towards the car, not giving Kal El a second glance.
"When will you bring her back?" the man asked.
"When she wishes, be it ten years or a thousand, perhaps never. The decision will always be hers.I offer you one last chance Kal El. She is your blood. If you wish her to be with you, now is the time to talk to her, to try and convince her that you want her. I know you won't though. Perhaps one day you will learn that there is more to life than being a symbol, for instance being a person. Themyscira will be her new home. It was difficult for me to leave to fight my brother. If not for that I would have never dreamed of leaving. You no longer must worry about her. She is my family now and she will be happy. She will be more. She will be an Amazon." Diana promised. "Do not follow me. Should you try to find the location of Themyscira, the island's magic will prevent you from doing so. I do not know what affect that magic will have on you and I don't want to risk finding out. We both know magic affects you."
Diana saw the man's fallen face and touched his cheek, having pity on her former comrade. "It really is for the best that she comes with me, Kal El." she assured him, trying to offer some comfort. Honestly, she had been infuriated with him when Bruce had told her of Clark's plan. Right now, though, her feelings towards the man did not matter, not with Kara here who was no doubt overwhelmed over the events of her life the past few days. Diana's world had suddenly changed as well. Diana had grown up on an island over thousands of years, being the one who was protected. She fought her brother because she felt it her duty. Now she had one to look after herself and she would not fail.
"Will she ever see that?" he asked quietly. "That she is better off with you? Will she understand why I can't…"
Diana honestly didn't know. "Perhaps…someday. Comfort yourself with knowing she will be safe and happy. Goodbye Kal El. It has been an honor fighting by your side. Perhaps we will meet again one day. Whether we do or not, know that I will protect and love her."
Diana walked to the driver's side of her car as Kara sat in the passenger seat, her door open. Kal walked towards her but froze when she caught his eye. He saw a look of…disappointment… bordering on hatred. Kara closed her door without a word to him. He stood in the Danvers's driveway, watching her drive out of his life as quickly as she had arrived.
Yes, Clark thought, it was for the best. So why did it feel so wrong? The man felt like a failure and a part of him wanted to go after the two.
But the look Kara gave him…two days he had to bond with her, and the man had concerned himself with finding someone else to take care of her instead. She would not forgive him for that. In her mind, Krypton had been destroyed only a few days ago and she had been rejected by the only family she had left in the Universe.
Clark was not sure how long he stood in the driveway, decked out as Superman, lost in thought. He was broken from his trance by the Danvers pulling into the drive.
He had to explain to Eliza that she would not be getting a new daughter after all. Instead of being a Danvers, Kara would be an Amazon. The man wondered if he ever did see Kara again, if he would recognize her or she would care to recognize him.
10 years later
When Lena Luthor had arrived at her office this morning, she had not expected the day to go like this. She never expected any day of her life to go like this. For a Luthor, that was saying something.
It was in the board room as she took part in a conference call that the destruction began outside. At first, Lena thought there had been a horrible car accident, one that's noise reached the top floor of L Corp. Then another crash, followed by the walls shaking. The brunette ran to the window and saw chaos. On the streets below people were running for their lives from what must have been aliens or some sort of metahumans. From this height the people were nearly as small as ants, but she did see larger, black figures, lifting and throwing cars, bright beams being emitted from them.
Then one car was thrown into the L Corp lobby.
Her security rushed in and grabbed her by the arms, hurrying her out of the boardroom towards the private security elevator built to take her to a safe room below the building, which had a tunnel that led to the streets three blocks away.
"What is going on?!" Lena asked, finally taking a deep breath in the elevator, coming to grips with her present situation.
A guard she recognized as Thomas shook his head, one hand on her and the other inside his dress coat where Lena knew he kept a weapon. The large elevator felt very small with six guards inside it, pressed to her closely.
"I'm not sure Miss Luthor. Five minutes ago, some sort of creatures appeared out of nowhere. They are large, perhaps seven to eight feet tall and reportedly only have one large eye. They are killing everything and everyone in their path, but it's become obvious they are converging on L Corp. They are very strong and are emitting some type of lasers from the eye. We will get you to safety. As soon as we reach the Safe Room, we will ensure the street is clear, get you to a car and leave the area."
Lena took that in, taking deep breaths to calm herself. Eight feet tall, strong enough to throw cars and some sort of laser vision coming from their one eye.
"Unbelievable. People are being killed by Cyclops that are intent on entering my building. Do you know if they are alien?"
Luthors were hated by aliens, not that Lena blamed them, considering the acts her brother and mother committed. She never expected such a brutal attack though in public. Aliens rampaging through the streets, causing mass destruction and death all to get to her. It seemed surreal.
"We don't know if they are aliens, Miss Luthor, but they are definitely not human and very powerful…"
Thomas released his grip on Lena and moved his hand to the blu tooth in his ear, listening intently.
"Some half dressed woman, a sort of armored brunette with a sword and a glowing rope of is fighting them. She has killed three of them in front of the building." Thomas informed the guards.
A brunette with a sword and glowing lasso? Something about that seemed familiar to Lena. When she had been in high school and her brother's obsession with Superman was beginning, she remembered him complaining about Batman and the one the media called Wonder Woman. Lena remembered seeing her on television occasionally and admired her. But Wonder Woman had disappeared suddenly, as if into thin air, never to be seen again. Many thought she was perhaps dead.
"As long as the armored woman is keeping the attention on herself, the path to the street in back from the safe room should be clear. Have a car waiting, ready to move." Thomas ordered whoever was on the other end, providing him with updates.
The elevator opened and Lena was in a large room she had not seen since she first opened the building and toured it. The safe room was covered in large monitors on the walls and Lena had a better idea of the destruction outside. Bodies were on the street, cars, busses, buildings all destroyed. The creatures were large, but one lone woman stood among them. She deflected their blasts, drove her sword through their chests and eye, took one's head off. Lena took a moment to reflect on her dress. Her top was armored, red except the gold that stopped above her breasts, a worn golden tiara on her head, a rope in one hand, sword in the other. Metal gauntlets ran from her leather wrapped hands to her elbows and a red skirt that appeared more like armor than any material, much like her top. Her armored boots were prominent as well, seeming to spark from the pavement every time she moved.
Everything about the woman was noticeable. Lena was certain now. This was the Wonder Woman from Lena's teenage years, the woman who Lena admired, much to her Mother's distaste. She wasn't dead. Instead she was saving people in National City and perhaps all her employees lives.
The Amazon Warrior from a hidden island, who had the strength of Superman if the media could be believed, was here.
And she was in front of L Corp battling what could be considered large Cyclopes from mythology.
Lena's bewilderment was broken when Thomas pulled her arm once more and ran them to a door at the far end of the room. The brunette found herself in the barely red lit hallway moving quickly and then fresh air in the outdoors as a small door had slid open in front of her.
She could hear the sounds in the distance, whatever those monsters were, being hacked down no doubt, judging the unnatural screams in the air. Lena stood in the doorway while her guards secured the street and car.
When she was signaled to move, she made it three steps before a bright red beam cut the car in half and burnt holes through her bodyguards.
Lena froze, unsure of what to do. The door had closed behind her when she had stepped away from it. She considered running around the creature, moving to line herself up for a dash to the street if she could dodge an attack.
She knew in her heart that wasn't possible. The creature's eye was already glowing and Lena instinctively raised her arms in front of her face, closed her eyes, and prepared for the death she knew was coming.
She heard the air sizzle, the heat from the blast but felt no pain, no pressure or burning. Opening her eyes, she found a blonde crouched in front of her, a shield on her arm, protecting both from the creature's blast.
The Cyclops stopped and roared, more of a shrill sound than Lena would have expected. The roar turned to a painful cry as lasers like Superman's heat vision, erupted from the blonde's eyes, striking the creature's only eye. The Cyclops fell to his knees and the blonde pulled the sword that hung on her back, moving in a flash toward the monster and taking its head. The body disintegrated in front of them as well as the head on the ground.
The woman turned to Lena, allowing her to take in her savior.
Despite her dress, it was her bright blue eyes, that took her breath. Her long luminous wavy blonde hair hung past her bare shoulders. She wore an armored red top, identical to Wonder Woman, a golden bracelet wrapped around her right bicep and silver gauntlets covered her forearms. Instead of a skirt, she wore blue leather pants that looked as if they had been pasted multiple times to toughen the material like armor and bright red armored boots rose just above her knees. She had a similar tiara on her head as Wonder Woman, but carried no lasso, only the silver shield and sword that were now on her back, held by a leather holster, a thin strip of leather wrapped over her shoulder and across her body.
The two stood inches apart from each other, Lena's voice trying to work again and the blonde smiling, her perfect white teeth gleaming.
"Lena Luthor?"
Lena nodded, still speechless.
"I am Kara of Themyscira. You must come with me, before more of these things are summoned by their master. Have you ever flown before without a plane?"
Lena shook her head, still speechless.
Kara reached her hand out to the brunette. "You can trust me. We must leave. Will you come with me?"
"Yes." Lena said, finally finding her voice. She took the warm soft hand offered.
Kara pulled Lena close, wrapping her arms around her waist. "Place your feet on mine and press down. Relax your body and I will hold you tightly. I won't drop you. Put your arms around my neck. Close your eyes if this becomes disorienting."
Lena did as told without hesitation which was very unlike her. She felt herself pressed to the blonde's body, Kara's strong arms clutching Lena to her at her waist.
Kara winked at the woman. "Ready?"
"Yes." Lena told her then found herself in the air, moving at unreal speeds, while the blonde held her close.
She buried her face in the blonde's hair to avoid the wind shear and couldn't help noticing how this Kara's hair smelt so good, the shade of her hair resembling sun light.
They landed gently in front of a large house overlooking the ocean with no neighbors for miles. Kara reluctantly let her go, holding Lena by the arms to make sure she got her feet under her and didn't fall.
"You have many questions." Kara said, not asking.
"Yes…"
"Wait till Mom gets here. As soon as she cleans the street of those monsters, she will answer everything you need to know. Until then let's go inside. I am sure you must be thirsty after all that. We have pizza in the fridge and leftover takeout. I can't offer you much more. I'm not a great cook."
Lena shook her head. "Mom?"
Kara shrugged her shoulders. "Honorary title or perhaps my nickname for her. I suppose in every way that matters; she is my Mom."
"Who are you?" Lena asked, taking in the beauty before her.
Kara laughed quietly. "I told you, shortly after I killed the Cyclops. I am Kara of Themyscira. Princess Diana was the one taking care of the monsters outside your building. My job was to find and bring you to safety. You are safe here, with me. No one will find us. I won't let harm come to you, Miss Luthor. Come inside, please?"
The blonde held out her hand and Lena gently took it. They walked into the large house together and despite the whirlwind of events over the past thirty minutes, Lena did feel safe.
Kara sat down next to her on the couch.
"So, I have to know. Did they really call Mom Wonder Woman in this world? Because if they did, it would be the greatest thing ever."
