Chapter 1
[Brittney's pov}
It's been a year since we undid the snap and saved the world from Thanos and me being a guardian.
They showed me how to survive by eating alien's food and drinks, and how to protect the galaxy.
I got to used my gravity power a lot to help save some people like Devin when he is spiderman. I loved begin a guardian begin with my team who was my family.
Tonight, on the Benatar I was reading my Disneyland book. I was sitting on my leg then then rocket came over to me.
"hi trash panda." I said.
"stop calling me that!" said Rocket.
I put my book down and looked at him.
"sorry about that I was looking at my Disneyland book." I apologized to him.
He grabbed the book from me.
"Rocket that's my Disneyland book. Peter saved the book before I left earth." I said.
"it's all you talk about." Rocket grumbled.
"it's fun it has rides shows and it makes me feel like I'm on a adventure." I said.
"you have gone on many adventures with us." Rocket told me.
"you know I been with you guys for a year."
"just one year."
"I know; rocket can I have my book back it means so much to me." I said.
"fine here your book back." He said giving my book back.
"thank you. So, Rocket would peter take us to Disneyland if I asked him?"
"I have never been there before." He said.
"you never been to Disneyland?"
"nope haven't been there."
"well I'm a Disney expert I can show you guys where everything is." I said.
"sure, I'm up for it." He said.
"great I will go ask peter if we can go to Disneyland. I will see you later rocket." I said getting up.
"later Brittney." He said.
I went over to peter's bunk. When I got there, I knocked on the door. Then Peter opened the door.
"Brittney what are you doing up at this time of night?" Peter asked tiredly.
"I'm sorry Peter I have to ask you something." I said.
"yeah what is it this time?" he asked me.
"I know the rest of the team had never been to Disneyland. Can we go to Disneyland?" I asked him.
"sure, we will go there first thing in the morning. Go get some rest Brittney." Peter told me.
"alright good night Peter." I said.
"good night Brittney."
I went over to my bunk to get some sleep.
The next morning I got out off bed and put on my guardian uniform and comeback boots that peter gave me last year.
Then I left my bunk and went over to the kitchen to get some breakfast.
When I got there Drax, mantis, Groot, Nebula, Peter, and Rocket were there. Rocket was still sleeping while they were eating.
"hi guys morning." I said.
"morning Brittney." They said except for Groot that said "I'm am Groot."
After I finished eating my food and put it in the dishwasher. I went over to my bunk to put on my cross necklace and left the room. I went back to my team.
"Brittney I told them we're going to Disneyland Rocket told me that you are a expert about Disneyland is it true?" peter asked me.
I nodded, "yes, Peter it's true I know the history all the carters down there. I can show you where everything is I can do it without a map."
"really I have never been there in years." Said Peter surprisingly.
I can't believed he had never been to Disneyland for a very long time.
"I can help you, but I can't do it alone. I'm sure Devin will help as well." I said hopefully. I was hoping it will be an enough to confess him to take us to Disneyland.
Peter smiled feeling very confessed that me and Devin were going to help them through the park.
"Brittney, contacted your friend let him know we are setting our course for earth." Peter commanded.
I nodded, "ok Peter I'm on it."
I took my avengers card to contacted Devin.
Devin was wearing his pj when I contacted him.
"Brittney, it's 2:00 in the morning." He said.
It's almost like what I did to Peter last night.
"I'm sorry to bother you I want to let you know we are going back to earth. We are going to Disneyland I have a problem." I said.
"wake me up at 7:00." He said.
"ok." I said.
A few hours later Devin called me back I was glad he returned my call from earlier.
"morning." He said.
"hi I'm sorry I woke you up earlier." I apologized.
"it's not like I have 7 hours of sleep."
"ok that's good can I tell you about my problem?" I said.
"what's up?" he asked me.
"since we are going to Disneyland Peter has never been to there in years and the rest of the team have not been there can you help me with Disneyland so they know where everything is?" I asked him.
"I'll go get my annual pass." He said.
"can Wanda come too?"
"you want to invite my fiancé?" he asked me
"Yes, I want her to come with us."
"sure kid I will see you soon." Devin said.
"see you soon." I said.
Later the Benatar landed right next to the new avenger's compound we saw Devin and Wanda waiting for us.
Me and my team went out of our ship.
"hi Devin." I smiled feeling happy to see my friend.
"hey."
"thank you for helping me with Disneyland." I said.
"anytime Brittney." He said.
"hi dev how being the new leader for the avengers coming along?" asked Peter.
"I'm doing good still getting a team together red boy." Devin replied.
"red boy? Say that to my face!"
Oh my goodness that sound like Mushu from Mulan.
Then devin punched Peter in the face.
I turned to Peter, "peter are you alright?" I asked.
"I had it coming." Peter replied.
"you guys ready to go to Disneyland?"
"yeah. Disneyland! I will bring my knives." Said Drax.
"no!" me and Devin said.
"No weapons at Disneyland. No guns." I said.
"aw great!" rocket grumbled.
"no knifes and swords." Devin said.
"that means you nebula." I added.
"far enough." She said with a smark on her face.
We took the avanger's qunjet after we got packed up and went to Disneyland.
Before we went to the park we cheacked in a hotel that was across the street of the park.
Devin shared one room with Wanda.
Me and my team were in separate rooms. I roomed with Mantis and Nebula. While Peter, Drax, Rocket, and Groot in the other room.
Then we went over to the Disney park.
When we got to the entrance I grabbed my favorite rides and shows schedule. After we went through the turnstile. I lead them through main street we were by the Walt Disney statue holding hands with Mickey Mouse.
"so what ride do you guy want go on first?" I asked them "hunted mansion? Star Tours? Splash mountain?"
"you pick first." Said Rocket
"let's go on the hunted mansion." I said.
"hunted mansion? Why is it called hunted mansion?" asked Drax.
"you'll see Drax." I told him.
"hunted mansion? I seen worse with doctor strange." Said wanda.
"if you guys don't want to go on it I choose something else." I said.
"no Brittney, it's fine; we'll go for it." Peter told me.
"ok follow me I will show you where it is." I said.
I lead them to the hunted mansion.
When we got there we went to get in line. I was so excited to go on the ride. Peter came over towards me.
"Brittney, I know you can't wait to get in but we need to stay together." Said Peter.
"ok Peter I understand." I said calming myself down.
After we went to the starching room and towards the loading area. I ride with Drax on the Doom Buggies. Devin rode with Wanda. Peter with Mantis. Rocket was with Groot and nebula road by herself.
When the ride was over and we were at the end of the ride. We were outside.
"so did you guys like the ride?" I asked them
"it was terrifying!" said rocket.
"ok what ride should we go on next." I said.
"let's go on Galaxy's Edge." Said Devin.
"Galaxy's Edge? You got your own Galaxy?" asked rocket.
"you'll see let's go." I said.
