Brother In The Museum

Nicki was enjoying walking around the museum when he came into the pharaoh's room. He was very confused at first until he heard yelling and shouting as the sarcophagus began to shake and move. The king was awake! Now he hadn't met Ahkmenrah personally, but his father had. Something about Ahkmenrah's shouting unnerved him, but at the same time made him curious. As he slowly got closer into the room, the large guard-like statues moved and their spears raised up!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Nicki screamed, now seeing the beings raise their spears. Ahkmenrah paused, now hearing the young child's cry from inside the sarcophagus. He shouted something fast in Egyptian and that made the statues stop! But after a moment, he couldn't hear anything. He didn't know if Nicki was alright or not.

"Nicki? Nicki, come here!" He called. He needed Nicki to lift the lid because the guards from the other night sealed it back. Larry was not coming until later and he wanted to use this time to get to know Larry's son.

"W-Who is calling me?" Nicki said, now scared to death of all that happened.

"Nicki, it's me. Come here," the pharaoh called out as calmly as possible.

"Huh?" Nicki said, now confused as he walked over to the sarcophagus.

"Yes, please open the lid. I wish to get out; I will not harm you. I am Ahkmenrah…I am the one who owns the tablet that brings this entire place to life," he said gently and now shaking the top. "Please help me open this…,"

"I'll try, but I don't think I'm strong enough," Nicki said, now trying to move the large stone top. As he was shoving it, Ahk put his hand out. Nicki wasn't aware of this and at that moment, he moved the stone the wrong way and it almost smashed Ahk's hands!

"GAH!" The king yelled in pain. That made his guards attack once more! One hurled a spear at Nicki and that made Nicki scream in terror and turn and try to run for it! Because the space didn't provide much room, Ahk was able to move the top of the sarcophagus, but his lower half was still stuck in inside of it. "HALT!"

His shout of command made his guards stop, but Nicki was now in complete panic mode. His hand was bleeding because of the stone earlier and he had tears running down his face. Ahkmenrah was very concerned for what he saw and his eyes narrowed in concern.

"Nicki…it's okay…be calm. I ordered them to stop…," Ahk said, but Nicki seemed to be spaced out. "Nicki? Nicki, can you here me?"

But Nicki then turned tail and took off out the room as fast as he could. Ahk struggled to move his lower half so he could follow him.

"Nicki! Nicki please wait!" he called, now shoving the rock more and freeing his lower half. He then said something in Egyptian and the guard nodded in response. They too went to go and find Nicki.

But Nicki was resourceful! He knew the museum as well as his father and he took off down the stairs. Ahk was just in time to see Nicki almost reach the bottom of the stairs when he whistled loud.

"Rexy, stop him!" Ahk called out, now seeing the large skeleton run into the clear. Nicki turned in horror and saw Rexy playfully run in front of him and block his way. The large T-Rex, even though dead, looked concerned about Nicki. He tilted his head as if to say 'why are you running from Ahk?'.

"Rexy, please let me leave!" Nicki pleaded urgently.

"Rexy, keep him there. I need to see to the boy." Ahk said gently, now descending the stairs quickly.

But Nicki's hand started to hurt more and he grasped it in pain. What did he do next? He took off down the other way.

"Nicki, wait!" Ahk called, now getting down to the bottom of the stairs and taking off after him. Nicki was fast but the king was faster and he was gaining on him quickly. At that moment, Ahk dove for him and the two landed in the soft pillows of the lion exhibit. The lions were pretty tame now so there was no need to fear them.

"Hey! Let go!" Nicki said angrily.

"No, now calm down, Nicki, no one's going to harm you," Ahk said, now trying to keep the squirming teen in his arms. "Nicki, calm down!"

Nicki was about to respond when his eyes widened in horror! The guards were coming! The large stone dog-like guards!

"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Nicki cried out. "DAD!"

"Hey, hey, hey…Nicki cease your panic! It's going to be okay," Ahk said, now glancing and seeing Nicki's hand still bleeding. "Now hold still so we can treat your wound."

"No! I can do it myself!" Nicki protested, but he shouted in horror as Ahk rolled on his back and Nicki was face up, looking at the ceiling. Ahk then said something in Egyptian to the guards and they nodded and came closer. "NO! NO NO NO NO NO! NO-AH! AHA! AHAHAHAHA STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!"

For at that moment, the guards gently poked their large fingers in his stomach and tickled him in his stomach as Ahk chuckled and held him tightly.

"Relax…they aren't so dangerous. They were just concerned about the situation earlier," Ahk chuckled over Nicki's shoulder.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP IT!" Nicki cried out in laughter as he tried to squirm free, but the young king smirked and began tickling Nicki in his stomach too and that made Nicki laugh even harder. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHK STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!"

"I will cease if you agree to speak with me and remain calm," he said with a smirk in his voice.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!" Nicki pleaded.

"You know my conditions, young one," Ahk teased, now nuzzling Nicki in his ear in a brotherly way.

After a few minutes of laughing, Nicki nodded in ticklish glee and Ahk and his guards stopped tickling the young teen. Ahk then let him go and gently took a hold of his hand. He nodded and saw Roosevelt and the others come with cleaning supplies. One of his guards communicated with them earlier that they would need it to treat Nicki's hand. Ahk's hand was fine because his tablet took care of anything he needed; whereas, Nicki needed more intervention.

"Now let me see to that hand young one," Ahk smiled.

"I can do it myself though," Nicki countered gently.

"I know, but why would you want to?" Ahk smiled.

"I mean after all, we do care for you here," Roosevelt said, coming up behind the king.

"And we do want you to be well," Ahk added. "Now then, once we are done you can come and personally meet my guards."

"I don't think that's a good idea," Nicki said, now eyes widening as the guards came closer and tilted their heads in curiosity.

"Now, now, relax…they mean you no harm at all," Ahk smiled, now making the guards come closer. He mentioned something else in Egyptian and the knelt down and extended their index fingers for Nicki to touch. Once he did, they gently wiggled them in the young child's sides again Nicki began to laugh.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OHOHOHOHOHOHOHKAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAY!" Nicki laughed out.

Ahk could only chuckle and help the young one up. He was glad Nicki was losing his fear. "Hey…do you guys want to play games with the others? I also am gonna order some pizzas," Nicki smiled.

"Of course! Let the festivities begin!" Ahk laughed, now picking Nicki up and swinging the young one over his shoulder and running off with him! Nicki could only laugh; perhaps he could have an adoptive brother. Only time could tell!
