"Who's that?" The whispers could be heard from several corners of the crowded guild hall. I knew the moment I saw the sign on the front door what I was heading for. But I definitely wasn't prepared for all the stares, the faces of people who were laughing and seemed like the people with no troubles in the world.

"Oy, Master! Who is she?" A pink haired boy yelled after us as we continued further into the building. The man didn't respond but instead kept his eyes forward.

He led me up the wooden stairs to a second floor where we headed for what seemed like a small office. "Please take a seat." I nodded and sat on the opposite side of the desk. I noticed a sign that said: Master Makarov.

I thought to myseld, so this is the guild master of what I guess is Fairy tail?

"Tell me child, tell me about yourself."

I considered lying, telling some make belief version of my life, but it seemed like he would see through me. Maybe this was what I needed now, and maybe I should be honest with him.

"I suppose I should introduce myself first." It seemed as if he had noticed my hesitation.

"My name is Makarov Dreyar, master of Fairy tail. The members of this guild are my children, and I'd do anything to protect them. All of them." It felt as if he looked at me extra sternly as he said the final part.

"Sara. I'm Sara. But I suppose people know me under a different name."

"Which is?"

"Death". Silence filled the room. "This room has sound protection runes to we can talk freely, child." He sighed, then continued: "I know who you are. Well I guess I know rumors of you."

"Do you know who my father is?" I was dreading the answer, but I needed to know and get it over with.

"Yes."

"Do you know I killed him?".

"Yes." I released a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

"Could you tell me what you know?" I asked, feeling like it was better to just add whatever needed to be or explain whatever facts he might have wrong.

"Sara, known as Death, one of the Executors. Together with the other four executors you have taken down dark guilds, sometimes with what could be called unethical methods. Daughter of… the Dark Seith Lord, whom you met on a request by the counsel. You were given the unofficial order to end his life. You carry a scythe which seems to be magical, some say you can talk to it."

"That was really thorough. You know a lot." I replied slightly surprised. He smiled sadly, and I felt that for some reason I could trust him.

"His name is Jack. Or at least that's what I call him. He's a scythe from the celestial world. I got him when I was thirteen. Don't ask how." I was stern and made sure to clearly mark that the subject clearly was something I was unwilling to discuss.

"And the rest is right. Joined the Executors at fourteen. And well you know how my father became infamous. I was twelve when it happened, and I don't see why we would need to go into details on what happened."

He nodded and instead reached into his drawer and picked out a sheet. "Here are the contact information of some of our members in case you would ever need it. Are you aware of how things work in a legal guild?"

I shook my head and he continued. "You take job request for payment. The upstairs is prohibited for anyone who hasn't passed the test to become so called S-class wizards. The upstairs is where we keep the S-class requests."

I nod to show that I'm following. "You are an exception Sara, and will be S-class immediately. Normally I wouldn't do this, but you've defeated one of the most powerful wizards known to man, on top of that your own father, which takes courage and mental strength. Your named is feared, because of you power as an Executor. But I see your heart."

My eyes widen and I try to process who a man who was never met me, knows me so well.

"Congratulations, welcome to the family. Now let's get you your guild mark!"

We left the room and step forward to the railing of the second floor. "ATTENTION BRATS!" The masters voice halts the guild, and I visibly flinch at his sudden outburst. "This is Sara. She is joining

us!"

Roars filled the hall but I can't seem to get myself to move. "And, she is officially S-class!" The guild goes silent. A few whining whys can be heard throughout the hall. I walked downstairs and was quickly approached by a smiling woman. "Hi! Welcome, I'm Mira and I work the bar here. Where would you like your guild mark and in what color?"

I smiled at her and gave it a quick thought before settling for black, and pointed to the underside of my lower arm. She quickly stamped the place I told her to, and the guild started cheering.

Why are they cheering for someone they don't know? The thought hit me that these aren't people I'm used to, and to fit in, I would have to adapt. Pretend to be happy. The voice in my head gave me a plan, and I intended to play the part perfectly.
