A/N: this is my first ever fanfic so bear with me and feel free to leave some reviews this is only a one shot for now might do more later but honestly a fan of unexpected ships and thought these two would go well together so with out further stalling let's get to it.

It all began one quite morning in Orario. It was just another day for most adventures heading into the dungeon looking for their fame and fortune. However things were different at the Twilight Manor home to one Orario's strongest famila where currently in the kitchen one of the familia supporters was putting on the finishing touches for a surprise for a certain silver haired werewolf.

Line: "Oh no I hope they came out okay."

Anakitty: "Relax line I'm sure they'll taste just fine."

Line: "I hope so…d-do you think he'll like them."

Anakitty: "with you having made them I bet they could give the best candy store in the city a run for their money."

Line had just finished making a fresh batch of heart shaped chocolate and was in a frenzy of emotion mainly nervousness. The Loki Familia executives were returning from their mini expedition from the 25th floor and she had decided today was the day she would confess to her crush Bete.

She was so nervous she had already burnt her first batch and if not for the help of her friend Anakitty (Aki) she would have already given up.

With her friends confidence in her she finally mustered up a small smile.

Line: "Thank you Aki that means a lot."

Waving off the praise Aki: "Don't mention it that werewolf won't know what hit him haha."

Line: "still thank you I wouldn't be even this close if it wasn't for your support."

Aki with a teasing grin: "Speaking of close it's almost time you should go get ready right."

Line as she begins to run out : " Oh yeah!…thank you Aki!!"

Aki's thoughts: " I just hope it works out for you I know how much of an ass Bete can be especially to lower level adventurers."

Twilight Manor Entrance

After returning from the dungeon Finn is currently scolding Bete for his rash behavior again.

Finn: "Bete regardless of how you view others what you did is still unacceptable. Not only did you ignore orders but the monsters that slipped by you nearly killed so of our party in the rear."

Bete clearly pissed: "So what! If they can't handle the unexpected then they're just too weak and are lousy excuses for adventurers!! Those low level brats shouldn't even be in the dungeon!!"

Finn shaking his head: " That's enough Bete if you aren't even a little sorry for what you did then I'm afraid I have no choice but to punish you."

Bete: "WHAT!!!!"

Finn: " you're herby prohibited from leaving the manor for two weeks and no drinking either."

Bete just silently curses to himself as he walks to his room still pissed.

Outside Betes Room

As Bete walks to his room still pissed about earlier he notices someone standing outside his door. She is a short girls with pale skin , braided black hair, large brown eyes, and is currently wearing a purple and white top with the same shade of purple skirt.

He knows she's a member of his familia but can't remember her name all he knows is that she's only a level 2 and as low level adventurers were just responsible for his punishment seeing her only pisses him off more.

Seeing Bete approach Line grows more nervous and starts fidgeting.

Line: " H-hi Bete good to see you're back safely."

Bete can only glare he's so mad.

Seeing the glare only adds to the nervousness line has been feeling.

Line: "I-I wanted to t-talk to you about som-"

She doesn't get a chance to finish as the werewolf is to pissed to be in the mood to waste time.

Bete: "OH CAN IT!!!"

Line jumps slightly at the angry werewolf: "huh"

Bete: "You heard me I said can it I got nothing to say to some nobody low level supporter!!!"

At this point Line is shaking at this point in terror and begins to tear up.

Bete: " I can't stand weaklings like you they make me sick!!! Now get the hell out of my sight!!!"

Line with tears running down her face without thinking runs. She runs down the hall she runs out of the manor dropping her box of chocolates outside the door then she continues to run aimlessly.

After running for what felt like an hour Line trips in an alleyway. With all of her emotions catching up with her she sits against the building with her head in her knees as she sobs.

*After 15 minutes*

???: " Excuse me miss are you okay?"

5 minutes before

Young Bell Cranel has had a busy day. After a busy day in the dungeon Bell is walking towards the Hostess of Fertility alone because his familia each have personal business to attend to so Bell has decided to eat dinner alone tonight.

As he's walking Bell stops before passing an alleyway where he could have sworn he just heard what sounded like quite sobbing.

Entering the alley he sees a human girl who looks to be about his age with black hair and purple and white clothes crying into her knees. Looking around bell sees a pair of glasses in the middle of the alley and thinks they must belong to the girl. As he picks up the glasses and walks over to her he noticed a small gash across her left knee with fresh blood coming from it. Worrying for the girl he decides to try and help her.

Bell: "Excuse me miss?"

Line: "…"

Bell: "m-miss I think you dropped these."

Line slowly looking up: "t-t-thank y-you." Is all she was able to utter between sniffles

Bell seeing she is obviously in pain decides to take out the small vial of blue liquid Lord Micah had given him earlier that morning as they saw each other in passing.

Bell: "Here drink this it should help with your knee." He said as he gave her his friendliest smile he could.

Seeing the smile she couldn't explain what it was about the boy that seemed to calm her down.

Line's thoughts: "why…why does it feel like I'm being soothed right now is it him. A few minutes ago I was completely heart broken but now I feel calm."

She reaches out taking the vial in her hand. Popping the cork she tilts her head back to drink it. Immediately she notices her knee begins to heal.

Line: "t-thank you…but why did you help me we're complete strangers to one another?"

Bell blushing a little: "W-well my grandpa always told me to never leave a crying girl if there was something I could do to help…especially cute girls."

She could just barely hear that last part but for some reason she felt he cheeks heat up immensely.

Line: "O-oh well thank you…hang on aren't you Bell Cranel the rabbit foot?"

Bell: " yes I am…wait I recognize you aren't you one of the Loki Familia adventurers from the 18th floor."

Line: " yes I am I remember you stayed in our camp after miss aiz rescued you."

Both are now standing up

Bell smiling sheepishly: " yeah thank you for what you and your familia did for us."

Line: "no no it's fine."

Suddenly a loud growl escapes both of the young adventurers stomachs.

*growl*

Bell sweat dropping: " uhhh I was on my way to the Hostess of Fertility would you like to join me."

Line's thoughts: " well it might help to get things off my mind plus I am kinda hungry."

Line: "yes I wouldn't mind."

The two then walk off towards the tavern

Bell: " it's nice to have someone to eat with."

Line with a slight blush: "yes it is"

Something thin pops into her mind that makes her saddened which doesn't go unnoticed by Bell.

Bell: " is something the matter"

Line: "u-uh no its fine"

Bell: "we may have just met but that frown doesn't suit you"

Line blushing heavily: " are you okay with being seen with me"

Bell: "huh"

Line: "I-i mean I'm only a level 2 and you're the record holder who hit level 4 in a few months."

Bell: "of course not!"

Line's eyes shot up to meet the ruby red eyes directly across from her.

Bell: " of course not I don't believe someone's level determines their worth. I believe it's their personality that does and you're kind, smart, and cute so honestly I'm lucky to be sharing this meal with you."

Line was dumbstruck at this boy and she suddenly began to feel her heart skip a beat just talking to him.

Line: " um thank you would you mind walking me home after this."

Bell blushing realizing everything he said: "u-Um sure thing."

As they were leaving Line suddenly asked Bell something neither expected.

Line: "you said you were lucky to share a meal with me would you consider yourself lucky to d-date someone like me?"

Both stopped mid stride as they both processed what Line had just said. Before Bell could respond Line insisted they hurry back to Twilight Manor before she is missed.

At the Twilight Manor Front Gate

Anakitty was worried sick about Line. She and the Hyurte twins overheard Bete's rant and witnessed Line run out of the Manor.

Anakitty was pleased that shortly after Bete was beaten to a pulp by the two amazonesses, but was worried sick about her friend. She was just about to go looking for her with Raul when he saw her coming up the road.

Raul: " look there she is!"

Aki: " yeah I see her she looks okay, but who's that walking beside her?"

Raul and Aki together: " Wait…no…that can't be…rabbit foot!!!!"

Line and bell stopped down the street from the Twilight Manors front gate seeing the older adventurers waiting for line both still blushing madly about what she had said earlier.

Line: " This is far enough…uh thank you again for well everything."

Bell smiling sheepishly: "don't mention it."

As Line began to walk away Bell grabbed her hand which only made her blush blood red.

Bell: "about what you said earlier…yes I would be lucky to date someone like you but I'm not worth of that privilege."

Hearing the boys words Line acted without thinking she pulled him close and planted a soft kiss on his lips causing bells face to glow the same color as his eyes.

Line: "you're more than worthy Bell Cranel so let's do this again sometime."

All either one could do was smile and agree to have another date.

As Line got to her friends who had been waiting she could only blush because at that point Aki, Raul, Tione, Tiona, and Alicia has all seen her boldness in kissing the rabbit. Before she could utter a word the girls dragged her into Aki's bedroom and demanded to know what the hell had happened. All Line could do was smile and tell them something completely shocking.

Line: "It didn't go like I had planned but I ended up having a date and getting a boyfriend."

Everyone who heard this: "whaaaaaatttttt!!!!!!"

They were all shocked but were all happy for Line of course they did agree to hunt down the rabbit and let him know what would happen if he broke her heart like Bete did.
