Chapter 1

It was 3 am when Percy woke up. Another nightmare about the last battle. The battle he won but he had to pay such a high prize. A lot of his friends died. Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank and Grover to mention only a few.

But the death that hit him the hardest was Annabeths. His wise girl, his fiancée died to save him from Gaia's sword. Her last words were: " I love you, my seaweed brain. But please don't lose yourself in grieve. Promise me to live on." And of course he had to grant the love of his life this last wish. He promised it.

After that his rage overcame him and he killed Gaia in cold blood. The war was finally over. He stayed at camp for a few more weeks until all the death were buried and all damages were repaired.

But then he fulfilled his promise and continued his life. Together with Clarisse, who also lost her fiancé Chris, he joined the Marines. Together they were a great team and they saved many innocent lives.

But after 10 years Percy thought it was time to change. He left the Marines and joined NCIS. He had met Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his team a few times when he was at the base so he knew them.

So here is he now. 27 years old, a soldier scarred by the many wars he fought in his lifetime.

Percy got up and made himself ready for work. He knew that he couldn't go back to sleep because of his nightmare. He packed his bag with his suit and all the other things he would need for a work day and left the apartment in workout clothes with also his sport bag.

He drove to the NCIS and started to workout in the sports area. First he run 10 miles on the treadmill. After that he begun punching a punching bag. While doing this he was in his own world, lost in his bad memories, so he didn't realize someone coming near him. When Percy felt someone touching him he reacted out of instinct.

A few seconds later this person was lying face down on the mats, his arms onto his back.

"Hey Percy, it's only me", Anthony Dinozzo shouted. After realising who he was pinning down Percy let him go almost instantly. "I'm sorry, Tony. You startled me." " It's okay, Perce. I'm almost used to it by now. The Boss knew that I would find you down here. I should get you. We've got a new case. " " Okay, Tony", Percy said, "I'll be at the car in 10."
