A long long time ago when the first living beings settled down on a planet called Earth. These living beings we're called High Elves. They were from an Eldar race. The high elves were also called People of the stars. They all had a leader, a king who was strong and lead them to an age of prosperity. One day the Queen gave birth to a young boy his name was Letho. 2 years later the Queen had a daughter her name was Alime. Letho was always playing, he had seen the world as a playground while Alime was always good helping others.
Many years later when Letho was 15 and Alime was 13, The king loved his children and was proud of both of them. He tried to teach his son everything he knew so that one day his son was ready but later on, he realised that is son had a free spirit and didn't wish to be tied down by a crown and duty so Letho fled from the Elven kingdom. No one knew that the young prince ran away. They all thought he was playing hide and seek but after a while, they noticed something must have happened. Alime went into her brother's room to see a note on his desk.
I do not wish to be tied down by a crown and duty
The king was devastated because of this, Many hunters tried to track him but it was hopeless. Since the beginning of time, only the son of the king could ascend the throne. The Elven council didn't know what to do. The princess could only help but she could never rule. Many years later came a man, his name was Voldemort. He said he wanted to better the world and wished to ally himself with the elf's but the king could see through his lies. The males in the royal family had many gifts including telling when someone is lying so the king refused. Voldemort was furious. The next day he took his followers and stormed into the palace and slain the king and queen.
The king fought until the very end like a true hero. The people didn't have a ruler so the elven kingdom started to fade in time. They hid the kingdom with ancient elven magic.The eldar age differently they live as long has over 400 years.The princess was 36 by then. The princess had to act as a ruler but she could never ascend the throne. Alime tried to find a way to help her people. She looked around the library and saw an old prophecy which was from her ancestors.
When hope is lost and the kingdom has no ruler
A child of light will appear.
He will have shining green eyes and raven black hair.
He will be the son of the one who left.
He will restore what has been fading.
She also found a tapestry which will show every one of the royal family and will automatically add when a new member of the family is born. It will also show if that member is alive or not. Alime saw how ancient this was. She saw a new name on the tapestry. It was a boy named Haldanar which means hidden flame and knew that hope was still there but she also saw that her brother was dead. She sobbed till she felt better and drifted off to sleep.
The next day she brought the tapestry and prophecy to the Elven council. They were happy to see that not all hope is lost. Even tho they were sad to see that the prince died all of them had hope that the elven kingdom would prosper again.
The elven council announced this to the people of Alyvalond. The people celebrated again having hope again.
