Welcome to the first chapter of the boogeyman like the summary kind of explains this story takes place in an alternate universe where Izuku is not accepted in UA so in his place instead is my OC the son of a famous villain by the name of the boogeyman wanting to become a hero instead of a villain like his father so with that out of the way its going to be similar to the canon universe but with various parts changed to fit this story and with that out of the way I hope you enjoy this chapter and the story.
UA the most known academy in japan to teach future heroes was the only current thing on the mind of Lucifer Kyoufu who has fair white skin, dark red eyes, and black hair going to the middle of his neck while looking well kept except for the few bangs in front of his forehead while wearing dark red pants with an illustration of a spider on a web on the left pant leg with a black short sleeve shirt revealing a part of a tattoo looking like a snake wrapping around his left arm with black gloves on is walking to the entrance exams before he hears a commotion on his way there with people yelling so he ends up following the yelling due to his curiosity of what kind of villain he might see today before going to the entrance exam.
Lucifer stands in a crowd shocked to see an older man with similarities to himself like two dark red eyes and black hair while wearing black jeans, a black long sleeve shirt and black gloves with a few tube like containers on a belt with it's contents hidden from sight, "Isn't that the boogeyman?" someone nearby asks as they see the man possibly known as the boogeyman smiles a crazy looking smile at the crowd with his victim being a purple haired woman who is panicking as the man opens a container and pulls out a finger with only Lucifer knowing what is about to happen so he runs past the crowd not caring about the screaming for him to stop as he only kept his focus on the man that he knew only as his father who takes off a glove with Lucifer stopping near the boogeyman.
"You better stop right now fiend." Lucifer says in a voice that sounds almost emotionless although it seems like it should as the boogeyman faces the young wannabe hero with a laugh and a look of someone finding amusement in the statement instead of intimidation as the woman tries to back up only with the boogeyman grabbing at her with his gloved hand gripping what looked like a long earlobe making Lucifer hope he can stall and hope some kind of hero will arrive as the boogeyman takes the finger in his other hand making Lucifer wince a bit knowing what is about to happen as the finger is put back in it's container as a hole starts to appear in the middle of the Boogeyman's hand before the crowd starts to panic as everyone sees a few giant black spiders about the size of the middle of Lucifer's leg crawls out of the hole in the boogeyman's hand making Lucifer run at the villain.
Lucifer runs forward ignoring a spider jumping at him making him only stagger as he reaches his target with two of the spiders biting at his legs making Lucifer grab at the boogeyman's gloved hand fighting to make him let go of the civilian not caring about his own safety to hear only a scoff from the older man who is now leaning forward near the young boy's ear so only he can hear. "I didn't raise you to go play hero, you will regret this boy." The boogeyman whispers before he finally lets go of the female civilian only so he could punch with his gloved hand right into Lucifer's stomach as the spiders are kind of tearing at his pants with Lucife barely standing still as he hears people finally arriving at the scene like Death arms and Kamui woods with Lucifer grinning at the boogeyman smugly before the villain just throws Lucifer to the ground easily as the spiders start to disappear as the villain puts his glove back on with a frown.
"You win for now, would be more fun to terrorize at least one person to the brink of insanity but whatever." The boogeyman says in a disappointed tone and before anyone could react he just runs out of there with Kamui woods chasing afterwards with Death arms walking over to the civilian and Lucifer who is getting back to his feet. "You shouldn't be trying to face a villain alone kid." Death arms begins to scold Lucifer who just nods at the pro hero with a neutral expression as he glances at the woman only for an instant felling a bit of pride to stop his father from claiming at least one victim. "You are right, just make sure she's okay he grabbed her kind of roughly nothing too majorly though." Lucifer blankly replies as he walks off heading towards the entrance exams not stopping for anything even Death arms who was trying to ask Lucifer a question.
Lucifer finally arrives at the entrance exams starting to hear people talking about what happened earlier as he just ignores them as he goes to attend the exam, after hearing Present Mic's whole explanation for the exam Lucifer walks off to where the exam is taking place with him grabbing a bit of skin from an old friend from his pocket that he kept for these situations. Lucifer is now running through to see other people already doing their best like a guy with engines in his legs and a girl using gravity so Lucifer takes off his right glove and grabs the skin from earlier and puts it back in his pocket as he feels immense pain as like earlier a hole is being formed in his hand but now with an inky black centipede crawling it's way out of his hand as he feels only pain while walking slowly earning a few looks with him not caring as the centipede is now raping around one of the robots around a weak part in one of it's arms until it falls off after a bit from the force of the grip as Lucifer does this for a while earning him about 50 points as the 0 point robot shows up with him feeling a bit weak.
As everyone starts to run away Lucifer starts to try only feeling pain from his right hand so he looks at the centipede making it head towards the robot with the centipede eventually getting ran over temporarily stopping the robot giving Lucifer the chance to run with a bit of pain subsiding with him making sure both of his gloves are on not caring about he blood on his right hand as he just sees the practical test coming to an end with him ready to finish up for the day.
A week later, Lucifer is currently in his house's kitchen alone with an envelope on a table from UA showing that he lives alone as he starts to open the device ready for the result of the exam hoping for the best while opening the envelope with his right hand to show it's almost healed completely and naturally as he opens it to see a device that shows a screen of All Might explaining that Lucifer got accepted into UA making him sit down feeling nothing but pure happiness for once in his life as he thinks back to a week to his encounter with his father knowing that now he is accepted that there might be some personal visits from his father in the future.
Finally on his first day at UA, Lucifer wearing the complete school uniform of course with his gloves added in to keep his future classmates safe from his quirk not wanting to accidentally do harm to anyone as he arrives at the class's door and opens it to see the rest of class 1-A along with someone wearing glasses yelling at a blonde male student who is sitting with his feet on the desk with Lucifer ignoring the entire situation getting some looks from his fellow classmates probably for either some of them noticing him at the entrance exam or the situation before it as he just sits down at an empty desk.
"Welcome to UA's hero course." A male voice greets the class to reveal a man in a sleeping bag before standing up and getting out of it surprising the class, "it took eight seconds before you all shut up that's not going to work, time is precious rational students would understand that." The man clearly the teacher adds with Lucifer looking at the man kind of in a more interest way as if he was analyzing him instead of being surprised. "Hello I'm Shota Aizawa, your teacher." The man introduces himself surprising the class he starts to rummage through the sleeping bag, "right let's get to it, out these on and head outside." Aizawa also adds while pulling a gym uniform out of the sleeping bag as Lucifer looks again curious on what their teacher is planning for them on their first day.
Everyone is now outside wearing the gym uniforms with everyone almost in unison asking, "What a quirk assessment test?" As Uraraka also adds in, "but orientation, we're going to miss it." She points out, "If you really want to make it in the big leagues, you can't waste time in pointless ceremonies. Here at UA we're not tethered to traditions, that means I get to run my class however I see fit. You've been taking standardized tests most of your lives, but you've never got to use your quirks in physical tests before, the country is still trying to pretend that we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational one day the ministry of education will learn, Bakugo you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam what was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in junior high?" Aizawa explains ending with with a question towards Bakugo.
"Sixty seven meters I think." Bakugo answers simply, "try doing it with your quirk, anything goes just stay in the circle." Aizawa replies with Bakugo demonstrating by using his explosive quirk to throw the softball with Lucifer watching carefully but not impressed since its clear he's trying to show off. "All of you need to know your maximum capabilities, its the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro hero." Aizawa adds while showing Bakugo's score with Lucifer hearing the class's comments with someone saying it looks like fun getting Aizawa's attention, "so this looks fun huh, you have three years here to become a hero you think its going to be all games and playtime? Idiots, today you will compete in eight physical tests to gauge your potential whoever comes last has none and will be expelled immediately." Aizawa explains shocking everyone and a bit from Lucifer who doesn't show his shock physically and seems a bit curious on what kind of teacher Aizawa is to threaten expulsion nevertheless on their first day.
"Like I said I get to decide how this class runs understand? If that's a problem you can head home right now." Aizawa adds threateningly with Uraraka responding almost immediately, "you can't send one of us home, I mean we just got here even if it wasn't the first day that isn't fair." Uraraka complains, "oh and you think natural disasters are or power hungry villains hmm, or catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities? No the world is full of unfairness its a hero's job to try to combat that unfairness, if you want to be a pro you're going to have to push yourself to the brink for the next three years UA will throw one terrible hardship after another at you so go beyond, plus ultra style show me its no mistake you're here." Aizawa explains before they start the tests with Lucifer seeming a bit more afraid due to his quirk only being useful in certain situations.
Throughout most of the tests leading to the ball throw Lucifer got about average scores for someone not using his quirk getting some glances from Bakugo as if Lucifer kind of reminded him of someone else in a way, during the ball throw Lucifer is the last one as he takes off his right glove and touches the skin in his pocket to get no response to see Aizawa using his quirk to erase Lucifer's quirk at the moment." Your quirk is quite self harming it could possibly even leave you useless if you use it in a certain way." Aizawa comments on Lucifer who now fully realizes who his teacher is, Eraser head.
"So you're the hero I've heard about by the name of eraser head." Lucifer replies as the teacher glare at him for a moment before blinking, "just take your throw." Aizawa commands as the class starts making comments while Lucifer touches the skin again with his right hand before pulling it out and starts to wince before the centipede starts to crawl out while he takes the ball in his right hand with Lucifer making the centipede wrap around his arm and grabs the ball as he makes the gesture to throw the ball making the centipede stretch while tossing the ball going far but clearly not too far as he feels like he should fall to his knees standing still with the centipede disappearing before he puts his glove back on getting mixed expressions from his classmates and of course a glare from Bakugo who now sees Lucifer as a threat.
After the last test which took Lucifer a bit to complete due to his injured hand before Aizawa reveals no one is getting expelled and it was just a ruse to make them all try their best making Lucifer chuckle at the revelation before now feeling a little light headed and knowing the rest of hi day is going to suffer from him using his quirk.
And that is the end of the first chapter and if anyone is curious on what the boogeyman and Lucifer's quirk is, I call it Phobos its a quirk that lets the user conjure up the fear of whoever they touch which is why Lucifer wears gloves to prevent it since he can't control who he can do it to and give me your opinion or any feedback if you want and I'll see you in the next chapter.
