This is a fanfiction written by TheNightOwl1200. This is based on a cartoon called The Loud House. I hope you all enjoy my story.

Today was a Friday. The Louds were excited because soon they could relax and do nothing for two full days. But one loud sister in particular seemed very ecstatic and in a good mood. And that was Luna Loud. Luna was in such a good mood that she said good morning to everyone, she offered to help her younger siblings and even let some of her sisters to cut in front of her. This was a shock to almost everyone, usually Luna would wake up in a grouchy mood. One loud sister was curious about why Luna was in such a good mood. And that was Lori. So she asked Luna.

"Luna why are you in such a good mood today? I haven't really seen you this happy before." Lori said.

"Well you see u-uh today is someone's birthday at my school and I got them a present for their birthday. And I'm excited to give it to them."

"Who's birthday is it?" Lori asked.

"You know that girl I have a crush on, Sam? It's her birthday and I."

Lori and Luna's conversation was suddenly interrupted by their mother, Rita Loud

"Kids it's time to leave! Everyone in Vanzilla! You don't want to be late for school! Rita shouted.

Everyone started to head to Vanzilla they didn't want to be late for school after all.

15 minutes later

It was about time for Luna to be dropped off at school. Luna was listening to her music and thinking about giving Sam her birthday present. As Vanzilla pulled in front of Luna's school Luna said goodbye to her siblings and her parents as she stepped out of Vanzilla.

Luna was walking to the main entrance of her school when she spotted Sam walking in front of her. Luna's heart started to pound really fast and she started to get nervous. Luna wanted to go up to Sam to say happy birthday. But Luna was just too shy to say happy birthday to Sam. Luna was having second thoughts if she really had the confidence to go up to Sam and give her her birthday present. Considering that she was too shy to say a simple hello to her.

Sometime later

Class was about to end and lunch was about to begin. Luna was in one of her classes waiting for the bell to ring.

Luna was watching the clock tick down. Luna had planned that she would give Sam her birthday present at lunch. And all of a sudden, Ringgggg The bell rang and Luna ran out of her classroom to find Sam. Luna spotted Sam walking by herself and she looked kind of sad, Sam was texting on her phone as she was walking. Luna tried to build confidence to go talk to Sam and give her her birthday present. She took a deep breath and she started walking over to Sam. Luna's heart started pounding fast again and she started to get nervous again too. In fact, everytime Luna was around Sam that would happen to Luna. Luna approached Sam and she gave Sam a tap on the shoulder. Sam looked up from her phone at Luna.

"H-Hi Sam, so I heard today was your birthday and I got you a present for your birthday." Luna said.

"Y-You? You got me a present for my birthday?"

"Yeah because I just wanted to do something nice for you that's all."

Luna handed Sam her a green bag and Sam accepted her birthday present from Luna.

"Thank you Luna!, I appreciate it."

"Bye Luna!"

Sam started to walk away as she had her present in her hand.

"Bye Sam!" Luna said.

As Sam was walking to go hangout with some of her friends. She decided to see what was inside the bag Luna gave her. The bag was filled with tissue paper and it covered what was inside the bag. Sam thought Luna did that as a surprise so she didn't see what was inside the bag. Sam proceeded to remove the tissue paper and she saw three items in the bag. First she saw a gift card. After taking a closer look at the card, she realized that it was to a place called Milkshake Shack that Sam loved and severed milkshakes and other things but mostly milkshakes. Second, she saw two packaged cupcakes, they were birthday cupcakes. And third, she saw a note at the bottom of the bag. Sam opened the note and began to read it.

Dear Sam, happy birthday! I heard it was your birthday so I got you a gift for your birthday. I hope you like it, this may not be the best gift in the world, but it was the least I could do. Sam, I'm glad to have a friend like you and I value our friendship more than anything else. Don't let anyone get you down, you're too cool dude.

Later in the afternoon

It was near the end of the school day and Luna was ready to leave and go home. The bell rang and Luna started making her way towards the front entrance of her school until,

"Luna!"

Luna turned around to see Sam running and waving at her. Sam stopped running and she was out of breath. She took a moment to catch her breath and she began to speak.

"Luna, I just wanted to say that, I liked the gift you got me. Thank you for the gift. That was really nice of you.

"U-Uh yeah, no problem. I'm glad you liked it" Said Luna.

"So Luna, I was wondering if you wanted to well, hangout tomorrow? I'm not really doing anything tomorrow."

"I'd love to hangout tomorrow!" Luna said in an excited voice.

"Great so how about I give you my number so I can tell you when to meet up tomorrow?" I would tell you right now but I'm kind of in a rush right now."

"Sure!"

Sam proceeded to give Luna her number.

"Ok gotta go, see ya tomorrow Luna!"

"See ya Sam!"

Luna was filled with excitement and happiness as she was asked by Sam if she wanted to hangout.

Later that night

Luna had trouble falling asleep that night because she just couldn't stop thinking about hanging out with Sam tomorrow. After a while Luna dozed off happily knowing that she was going to hangout with Sam tomorrow.
