Tails' new invention whirred to life. Everyone was here to see what the new invention was about. Every mainline Sonic character, that is. Tails was a little uncomfortable, because this is an alternate universe where Tails is really shy, Sonic loves Amy, but she couldn't care less, Knuckles was not strong, Eggman was a hero alongside them, and there were so many villains. The machine came on, and Tails said,
"Okay, h-here goes nothing." In a slightly wavering voice. He pressed the button. Kawhoosh! The machine shot out a bright white light. Tails ran behind Sonic. Shadow just simply Chaos Controlled away, but he was soon back, without the emerald. He gasped.
"Tails what is this machine!?" Shouted Sonic. Suddenly, before he could answer, the bright light became a dark hole, and started sucking everything in.
"Sonic!" Shouted Tails as he was pulled in. Sonic grabbed him, but then Sonic realized he was holding onto a couch that wasn't fused to the ground.
"Oh, crap." And with that, everyone was sucked in to the strange portal, going somewhere else unknown.
