Draco had seen how lost the Weasley girl was as she sat at the Gyffindor table. She looked across the room and spotted him and he tried to smile but she quickly looked away.

In his second year he saw her struggling to make friends with her peers. He noticed she was of the second floor.
Her brother looked worried about her sometimes but never did that git help her nor did Potter, he never observed Granger that much.
He just felt sorry for the girl nothing else.

He was searching for a certain red-headed girl, he found her! She was dancing with that stupid Longbottom.
Pansy came back and he diverted his attention to her.

He was very proud till he saw her face, it was full of hatred for him. He looked back at her with a look of annoyance and disgust.She glared at him then looked away.

He had been given a mission by his You -know-how.
He was absolutely terrified.
When couldn't do his work anymore he watched Ginny practice quiditch which longed to do.
She was good, swift and steady.
He had helped the Death Eaters enter into Hogwarts now he had to kill Dumbledore.

Snape had saved him , he didn't have to kill his headmaster.
He rushed with the Death Eaters and prayed that they had not done much damage .
He ran as he saw chaos in Hogwarts , his Hogwarts. He wished her to be safe .

Ginny, Luna and Longbottom were planning to do something. He was a Prefect and had to report any suspicious activities to the Carrows, he wouldn't.
When they were around he would be a Muggle hating pureblood. When they weren't around he didn't bother.
One day he overheard someone talking about stealing the sword in Snape's office.
He turned around to find a not - so surprised Luna , a glaring Longbottom.
Ginny came from behind him wand pointed.
"Listen, Snape goes to check the administration of Hogwarts at 12 in the night. Comes back 15 minutes later."Draco told them.
" Don't listen to him , he's lying to get us caught." Ginny said.
" I believe that he's sincere but the information he's giving us is at some cost." Luna said rather vaguely.
" You are right. " Draco said .
"What do you want? " asked Longbottom .
" I want to join the army."
He heard gasps.
" Tell me later, go before the Carrows find you and take you all to detention. Be careful next time. " He grinned and winked at Ginny and walked away.
Slowly they grown to trust them.
He purposely muttered the incantations wrong and the Carrows and Crabbe and Golye would stare at him in disbelief.
He simply said he wasn't able to do it properly.
Sometimes when Neville and Luna went to the astronomy tower to have a private chat he would talk to Ginny.lt was safe to say now that he liked Ginny Weasley.
Slowly she and Draco had grown closer.
Sometimes they even cuddled each other for comfort. They had learned to say ' I trust you' instead of 'I love you.'
The plan was made to steal the sword .
Draco would find Snape and engage him in some false information while Ginny would steal the sword and Luna and Neville would keep guard.
The plan was going well that midnight but Snape suddenly remembered that he had left a important parchment in the office.
Draco kept trying to distract him but Snape brushed him off.
He tapped the coin two times which means 'danger , run!'
Snape reached his office caught all three of them .
"Dentention ."Snape said.
"Sir I can handle this blood traitor and these two fools." Draco offered.
"No, I'll handle them ." And he dispersed him.
Draco worried all night wondering what detention they had been given. They had become good acquaintances , friends just seemed wrong.
The next day Ginny told him all about their detention.
"Did you not get my signal?"Draco asked.
"We did but we hadn't got the sword." Luna
replied.
"Harry Potter is dead!" came a booming voi
Draco recognised it as Lord voldomort's voice.
It can't be ! He had already lost so many but Harry Potter could bring out of this hell.
Ginny fought so did the others .
She was almost killed by his aunt and then in a flash his aunt was gone too.
Sudden cheers erupted, Harry Potter was alive!
The war was won and he was going to leave but he had to see Ginny one last time.
He found her sitting forlorn in a corner. He sat beside her.
"Goodbye Ginny, I will always trust you."
"You don'thave to go. " she said.
" I do have to." Draco replied.
She leaned in and kissed him one last time.
Then he fled with his parents.
It had been nineteen years when she saw him again at the train platform, he had nice family and so did she.
She waved her sons goodbye, put a hand on Harry's shoulder to comfort him and held Lily Luna's hand.
Draco was just leaving with his wife when caught her eye .
She smiled brightly at him and so did he but nobody knew. Memories flooded in both of their minds a peace took over.
Somewhere far away fate smiled , sadly.It had managed to separate two lovers again but did really matter when nobody knew?
