Brand new Rotten 4 and Friends
Walking through the streets of the Isle, myself and my friends were causing mischief, mayhem and spreading terror, just like our parents. Once we had stolen what we had our eyes on, we headed back to our parents.
New Rotten Crew
Melina: Mal and Ben's 15 year old daughter
Irine: Melina's 13 year old sister
Nathan: Harry and Uma's 16.5 year old son
Hunter: Nathan's 18 year old brother
Shelby (me): Evie and Carlos's 12 year old daughter.
Myself and Melina were using a sample of our powers to help scare people off while we were stealing things. The two of us both have magic, I also have invisibility, pyrokinesis and telekinesis. We were all on the Isle after Arudon Prep was attacked by Maleficent and we were perfecting our bad side.
When we got back to our place, we found our parents there, sorting through what supplies we had before we went out.
"Hey guys!" Aunt Uma exclaimed when she saw us come in and over.
"What's the haul today guys?" Mom asked when we sat with them.
"So we managed to snag some more food for us along with some clothes and a couple more thicker blankets for us." Irine exclaimed as she helped us all unpack what we had stolen.
After we passed our food and the rest of the stuff out to everyone else, Aunt Mal got up and went to cook what food we managed to steal and when she was done, distributed it to all of us.
"Here you go guys." She said, coming back in and giving the plates to us.
Taking the plates that were given to us, we dug in eating. Hearing an explosion later on, we quickly ran to the window to see what was going on and causing the ruckus outside. Looking out the window, we saw a group of pirates none of us recognized setting fire to some of the businesses down the street and the fire was starting to spread to other stands!
Quickly ushering us back into the house, Aunt Mal told us that they were going to board up some of the windows on the first level and wanted us to stay inside. Going down to the first floor, we all sat together close enough to hear our hearts beating.
Half an hour later into the day, we heard footsteps coming up the stairs which caused the rest of us to jump up and get ready to fight if need be. But, when we saw that it was just our parents coming, we relaxed.
"Guys, its okay, its just us." Mom exclaimed, when they all saw how tense we were.
"Sorry, we thought it was the pirates." Hunter responded as we lowered our swords.
Walking over to my dad, I asked softly if the fires had been taken care of. His response to my question was that the fires were being taken care of by a small group of bystanders that were running to get water and splashing it on the flames.
Trying to relax, I pulled out my blue, red and black splatter folder and started sketching. Sitting with me, mom looked over at my new outfit idea and smiled. Taking the sheet to get a good look at it, she was even more so stunned at the sheer detail I was placing in the piece.
"Carlos, look at this!" She exclaimed, handing it to my dad.
Taking it and looking at the new outfit I was working on, he smiled before taking me under his arm.
Knowing we had to move and move soon, we packed up what belongings we had, we exited our place that we used to live in ever since the attack on the school.
Continuing our trek down the road, we walked for about 2.5 hours before spotting a sign saying "You are now entering Hazzard County"
Walking for another half hour, we came across an abandoned shack that looked big enough to hold all of us. Entering, we set our bags down and took a look around our new home.
After looking around the house, I sat on the steps and watched the sun set through the trees and change the colors of the sky from a light blue, to an orange purple. Coming outside, Uncle Jay sat with me.
"How're you holding up Shelbs?" He asked softly.
"Okay, just scared. It's a new place, I mean how are we sure where to go to find food?" I asked, glancing up at my uncle.
"How about tomorrow, we go stake out where the market is and then once we know for sure, we'll nab what we need." He answered.
Nodding and also seeing how late it was outside, we headed inside and found out that the others had already set up the sleeping bags, and were working on setting up the lamps for light.
Laying down in our sleeping bags, we made sure we were close enough to each other before falling asleep. The next morning, we headed out to search for the market. Just our luck, we found the market within a half hour of entering the square.
Wandering around the market, we looked for anything that we could easily carry back to our place. As we walked, I ended up bumping into a tall blond boy wearing a yellow button up top with blue underneath, jeans and cowboy boots.
"Sorry sir." I whispered softly, turning away to keep walking.
"Its not a problem mam." The boy answered, heading back to join the group that was waiting for him.
Choosing to snag what we found as we passed stand after stand before choosing to stop after hitting our seventh stand. Grabbing our food, we headed back down the road to our hide out.
Getting inside, we spread out the food we snagged and placed it out into the next week. Getting up to cook what was set up for tonight, Aunt Mal headed to the kitchen to cook.
Leaning against my dad, I felt him wrap an arm around my shoulders.
"Shelby, I heard from Uncle Jay about what you two talked about last night. You don't need to be scared. As long as we all have each other, we'll be fine." He said, gently reaching out and taking my mom's hand.
Sliding over next to my dad, mom laid up against him and took my hands.
"He's right Shelby. As long as we stick together, we'll be fine." Mom answered, gently tucking my straight blue hair back behind my ear.
Around eight the next morning, myself and the rest of the kids headed out to see what we could snag and carry back. But before we left, we made sure to leave a note for our parents explaining that we went out for another supply run.
"Guys, more than ever, we have to stick together." Hunter said as we walked, sticking close to each other.
Walking down the street, we also noticed that there were more people at the market than there were the last time we all were there.
Slipping through the crowd and sticking together, we swiped what we could. As myself and Irine were swiping some apples, we got cornered by the owner who took a swing at us, but ended up punching me!
"Shelby!" Hunter called, running up to us with the rest of our gang with him and helped me up to my feet.
Going at the guy by yelling at him, the rest made sure we still had what we swiped before heading back to our house. Looking up when we came in, our parents saw us but gasped in shock when they saw me.
"Shelby, what happened to you?" Mom exclaimed, gently leading me over to the table to take a look at my eye.
"She got punched by the owner of a stand we were leaving from." Irine explained, sitting with her dad.
Aunt Mal stepped over to stand with my mom to take a look as well and she saw how bad my eye and nose were. Having my dad and everyone else come over to help, Mom gently applied some of the antibiotic cream over the bruise while Aunt Mal wrapped the bandage around my head.
"Feel better S?" Mom asked, sitting with me and readjusting the bandage.
"A bit, thanks mom." I answered, leaning into her arms.
Coming over as well, dad sat next to us and we all were talking about what else we needed to do. As we were talking, we heard what sounded like a car engine!
"Guys come on, we need to move!" Aunt Uma exclaimed.
Scrambling to grab what we could, we hid so that the people coming in wouldn't see us. Hearing the door open, we heard what sounded like 5 male voices approaching the door and come in.
Seeing the blankets and lamps there, we heard one speak.
"Looks like someone's here." One spoke.
Knowing we had been compromised, we had to move as soon as they left. When we heard the engine speed away, we packed up the blankets and lamps in some bigger bags we had stolen and left the house in search of a new safe place. Walking for another half hour, we found an abandoned house that was far enough from any people and still close enough to the marketplace
